Mira's POV:

Ephraim stayed with master Windu and some others while Depa, Kanan's master, followed me to my son. We stood in a hallway when he rolled through me. I hate it that I can't talk with him... or that he can't see me. Sometimes he does but that's only when he concentrates on the force.

We followed him till he stopped with the Rebels and his two friends.

"What are we going to do? You have a plan right?" Dawn asked.

"Nothing. I have to stay. The captain chose you two and shutter 5 for a reason. I'm needed here." He answered

"Ezra... we don't leave you. Never!" Moreena said while Tyro nodded meaning that he thought the same.

"It's the decision of the Captain. And like that it will be. Understood?" He said looking serious at the two friends.

"Understood, sir." They saluted.

Ezra rolled away and the two looked at the ground.

"He was serious about it, was he? Tell me he was joking." Hera asked

"He was serious." The two said in unison.

They all looked at the boy rolling away in the wheelchair, so did Depa and I.

"My son may be acting like he's serious and like he is fine with it. But I know him. He isn't okay. He's breaking. Breaking inside..." I said to Depa.

"I know, Mira. I only hope my padawan knows too." She said.

We looked at Kanan and I saw in his eyes that he held back his tears. Depa noticed it too and walked towards him to hug him from behind. I thought that it was useless, but it looked like Kanan felt it. He closed his eyes and laid his left hand on his right shoulder. In our little ghost world, like the younglings call it, we see him lay his hand on Depa's, but in reality he's just holding his shoulder. He opened his eyes again and looked at me. I gave a small smile and then we both looked at Ezra again. He was talking with some shutters, not noticing that we were all staring at him.

"Maybe it's time to visit him in one of his dreams... again..." Depa said.

Kanan looked at us and I realized that he could hear us, but I didn't pay attention to that.

"Yeah... maybe it is..."
