Remus Lupin and Ginny Weasley.

     The Marauder's map had revealed one of her many secrets.

    Ginny stared at the map, as if confirming whether it had really revealed her name. Her real name. Half of her true identity.

     "So?" She looked up to see Remus staring at her. "Care to explain?" Unlike the other times, Remus's gaze wasn't friendly. If anything, it looked cold and intimidating. Ginny looked down, unable to look at his face, which potrayed betrayal.

    "I can't believe it." Said Remus. "I let someone in my greatest secret, someone who didn't even have the honesty to reveal her real name."

     Ginny still couldn't explain anything. She didn't know what to say- the true, or more lies? Her instinct seemed to have left her.

     "Are you a deatheater?" This question came out of no where.

     Ginny's head snapped up towards Remus.

    "No I am not! What makes you think that?" She said.

    "You didn't tell us your real name. Sirus's brother- Regulus was with you. Everyone knows that he will join the deatheaters later. I heard there was a Weasley - Mafaldah, who was a Slytherin and left her home to join the deatheaters. Are you related to her? Because as far as I know, there is no Ginny Weasley related to Arthur and Molly." Questions were aimed at her, tiredlessly.

    "I want the truth!" Remus whisper-yelled at her. He looked angrier than Ginny had ever seen him. The corner of her eyes prickled as she blinked back tears. She realised she had to tell the truth.

     "I am related to them!" Ginny said. Remus calmed a little, but nevertheless, his accusing stare bored into Ginny. Quietly,  Ginny brought out the time turner from under her shirt and showed it to Remus. His eyes widened.

    "Is that...." he trailed off. "I have read about them, is it a time turner?" Ginny nodded.

    "It is." She confirmed. "I am from future."

     Remus returned his attention back to her. "How can I believe you are saying the truth?"

    "You have to." I am from almost twenty years ahead in future." Ginny said. It felt weird to tell him all this.

    "Who are you then?" Remus asked. He looked at Ginny, his eyes softening.

    "I am the youngest and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. I can't reveal much, you know, it may mess up the timeline." She said. Remus nodded, understanding. "I don't have a solid proof, but I know few things that can prove that I am from future, without letting you know what would happen."

    "What is it?" Asked Remus, as he looked at her curiously.

    "I know how to work the map." She took the map from Remus and tapped her wand on it. "Mischief managed." The writings disappeared. Ginny glanced at Remus for a second before muttering- "I solemnly swear I am upto no good." The writings reappeared, showing their names once more.

     "Who taught you that?" Remus asked.

     "One of your successors." Ginny replied mysteriously. Remus's demeanor changed, he smiled.

    "Why didn't you just go back with the time turner?"

    "It's stuck."

     "Oh." This was the only expression Remus could give.

    After sometime, Remus asked, "Do I know you in future?"

    "Yes, you do."

     "Do you want to tell others?"
     "No. Not yet." She replied.

    "Why was Regulus with you?"

    "He is a friend." Remus looked at her with a scrutinizing stare.

    "Does he know?"

    "No. I don't intend him to." Ginny said.

    One thing was for sure, Remus already knew half of her truth, she wasn't revealing it to anyone else. She didn't know why she kept hiding this fact, but it felt right. She wouldn't reveal anything to Regulus, atleast not yet.
