Most of the team had gone on a mission in California, but it was Torrun and Bucky's turn to hold down the fort.  When everyone else was cleaning up and helping trapped or injured people from the attack, they received a frantic message.  "Torrun's down.  HYDRA attacked back here...James was being tracked.  I fought them off but Torrun needs help," Bucky explained, sounding panicked. 
   HYDRA had come in quickly and stealthily.  Bucky and Torrun were split up doing rounds when Torrun was surrounded by agents at all angles.  They had guns aiming at her and she knew that even if she took down half of the agents before the first one shot she would be killed.  With no other option she set down her sword and took off her helmet.  Multiple agents restrained her and one asked where "the Winter Soldier" was.  She explained to them that she had no clue who "the Winter Soldier" was.  They then asked where James Barnes was.  Torrun didn't respond.  The agent hit her with the butt of his gun and repeated his question.  He told her that they would find him if she helped or not and if she didn't they would hurt him further.  Torrun battled with herself in her head and then said "Okay, follow me," and led them to Bucky.  When Bucky saw Torrun and the HYDRA agents he was shocked but tried not to show it.  HYDRA thrived on reactions.  His best option now was to listen to whatever they had to say and then take them down.
   "Hello Winter Soldier," one of the men started, "your loyalties have strayed.  Unfortunately, your option to come back to HYDRA doesn't exist anymore.  You were a good weapon once, but now you are no longer useful.  With the help of the soldier and his son we found you again.  Our head has asked us to demonstrate how we are to repay you for your treason with this girl.  Is she your daughter?  That doesn't matter now." He explained heartlessly.  That was it.  Bucky cracked and attacked the agent, blinded with rage.  Bucky's victim smiled crazily the whole time.  When he moved on to the next agent he heard the unsettling sound of a breaking bone and a scream.  It wasn't coming from the enemy.  He stupidly let his anger move him away from the real targets, the agents that had Torrun.  He went over to these agents and made short work of the them.  When he was done he walked over to Torrun who was lying on the ground unsuccessfully trying to hold back tears.  "What happened?!" he asked.  Without a response, he contacted the others on the team.  Next, he slowly put his left arm under Torrun's shoulders and right arm under her knees. 
   He lifted her up gently and she screamed out in pain "Bucky please stop!  Set me down!" She begged.  Bucky felt a wave of guilt and slowly set her back down. 
   "I'm sorry...I was trying to get you down to the infirmary." he explained.
   "They broke my back," Torrun said, voice wavering.
   "Tony'll be here soon.  He'll know what to do." Bucky told her, crouched down by her, "He's going to need you conscious.  Hang in there," he said with a hand on her shoulder, trying to stay strong himself.
   "Okay," Torrun responded.  From then on she stayed as still as possible.
