Chapter Five
Sorry for the short updates... Anywho, y'all should check out my other de-aged Batfam fics, Baby Hood and Baby Bats. One is super short and kind of fluffy and the other is...something else.
We've watched Frozen three times in a row now...can we please put them to bed?!
Aw, Conner, do you hate Disney?
No, I enjoy it, but I might puke if I have to listen to 'Love is An Open Door' one more time...
Welcome to having kids.
Art, do you have something to tell us...?
Yes, I have a secret family I have kept hidden from the team all this time. No you dork, I babysit the other kids in my building, duh.
Oof, you really had me going there for a minute.
...You guys are all morons. Shush and watch the movie.
But for real though, it seems really late for a three year old to be awake and he doesn't even seem phased. What time is it anyways?
Eleven thirty.
Damn.
What even are these kids?
Oh, you have no idea...
And you do, Wallace?
No, I'm just saying, the kids of billionaires are barely human.
Mhm, sure.
The team was currently sitting at the back of the Wayne manor movie room, nonchalantly blocking the exit for the four sneaky brothers that were curled up under a huge blanket, watching Frozen for the umpteenth time that day.
"Put em together, it just makes sense!" The four brothers sang in unison with Olaf. Conner looked five seconds away from bashing his head in.
After this time watching the movie is over we will put them to bed, I promise, Conner.
I don't know if I'm going to make it until then...
Well, you can always go to bed now. We can handle the kids.
Really? If we lost them at full power, how are you all going to handle a one to one ratio?
He has a point...
I hate being right because all I want to do right now is sleep.
We could always cut the movie short?
And deal with a tantrum? No thanks.
Ugh, if only Robin were here, he'd know what to do.
Wally choked on the piece of popcorn he was eating, earning looks from his friends and the brothers.
"Do you mind? We are trying to watch our movie." Jason snarked, glaring at the red head. He was still salty that he had to be upstairs rather than downstairs in the Batcave.
"Sorry, my b."
"Its okay, just don't do it again." Tim warned and or threatened Wally, slowly turning back to the movie with his brothers following suit.
You were right Wally...billionaire kids ARE barely human. What the hell was that?!
Tim just being Tim.
You act like you've been around him before this mission, care to share?
Wally gulped, avoiding the prying eyes of his friends. "Be right back, I gotta pee."
"Ew." Damian whined, scrunching his nose up at Wally as he headed towards the door. "Yucky."
Wally childishly stuck his tongue out at the back of Damian's head as he exited the room, deciding that he actually would use the bathroom since he was up and about.
On his way back to the movie room he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He looked down and felt his heart start hammering. He quickly answered it.
"Hey-"
"Bruce."
"-Bruce, what's up?" Wally was thankful for the prompt to the right name.
"Do you have eyes on the boys right now?"
"Not at this moment, I was going to the ba-"
"Wally, go to the boys. This is important."
"...okay." Wally sped off to the movie room, peeking his head in to see the boys drifting off. He stepped back into the hall. "They are falling asleep in the movie room, why, what's going on?"
"Wake them up. Don't let them sleep."
"What? Why?"
"Just do it."
Wally, normally, would go along with whatever Batman said but not this time. He had little cousins so he knew young children needed their rest. "No, not until you tell me what is going on. Why is the mob after your family?"
"Are you serious?"
"Yes."
"Wally, the mob isn't after the boys. That was a ruse to get the team here and protecting my sons in my absence while I search for a cure for their...ailment."
"What happened, anyways?"
"Damnit, West, keep them awake!"
"Why?"
"Because if they fall asleep the change may be permanent!"
Oh.
Oh, shit.
Wally sped into the room and shook the brothers awake, much to the annoyance of everyone in the room. "Okay. They are awake. Now will you tell me what happened?"
"Wally, who are you talking to?"
Wally turned to address Kaldur when the line went dead. "Damnit!"
"Who was it?"
Wally groaned. "It was Batman, he said the boys can't sleep."
"And why not?" Conner grunted, glaring at the red head.
Wally hissed out a sigh. "Okay, this is going to sound crazy, but here goes...they aren't normally this age. Something happened to them to make them age down. Dick is normally fourteen, Jason twelve, Tim ten, and Damian eight. Something or someone, shaved five years off their lives and their memories."
The team stared at Wally for a second before nodding. "Okay, makes sense."
"...what."
"Yeah, I mean, they are Batman's freaking kids, of course something like this would happen." Artemis shrugged.
"Huh? How'd you guys know?"
"We didn't, not until you just told us." Conner smirked, high fiving Artemis.
Wally groaned, mentally preparing his own funeral for when Batman finds out he accidentally outed his secret identity.
"I can't believe I just- how'd you know I knew?"
"Please, we all knew you knew. You and Robin bragged about it from the moment the team formed that you were the only one to know his I.D. It was simple tricking you and we didn't even plan it out. It happened naturally."
"...are y'all supervillains?"
