~No One's P.O.V.~

As time went by, each "couple" took their "kid" to go get what they wanted to eat.  It took quite a bit of time, as only one pair could go at a time, or else the other kids would get way too rowdy. Sometimes, as they waited, they had to literally pull the Dragon Slayer children away from each other before a physical fight that would destroy the entire court would commence.

"Even though their magic power is 1/1000 what it used to be, they still have the physical strength to decimate this entire food court," Jessie sweatdropped as she held Sting with one hand against his will.

"Let me go!" Sting whined, squirming in the Water Dragon Slayer's grip.  "He insulted me!"  Natsu hid behind Lucy and cheekily stuck out his tongue when Sting pointed an accusing finger at the salmon-haired boy.  Both Jessie and Lucy rolled their eyes at the immaturity of the both of them.

"Just let it go, Sting," Jessie sighed, using her one free hand to run a hand through her black hair in stress.  She was seriously tired of everyone's childishness and their whining and just kids overall.  She might need to avoid children in general for a couple days after all of this is over.

"Thank Mavis you're back!" Jessie turned around when Lucy exclaimed her relief and saw that Levy had returned from her food spree.

"Sorry I took so long, someone kept glaring at this one kid and made him cry," Levy apologized, glaring at the short black-haired boy beside him at the end of her apology.

"He was giving me this weird look, I swear!" Gajeel protested.  The bluenette let out an exasperated sigh and tightened her grip on his hand.  She didn't even care that they were holding hands by now.

"So, I guess that's everyone then," Jessie smiled weakly. She gave Sting an angry side-glance when the spiky blond squirmed in her grip once again.

"At least let me go, I'm hungry too!" Sting complained, giving Jessie big round puppy-like eyes. She was so tired of looking at those eyes that it didn't even affect her anymore.

"Will you two get into any fights?" she raised an eyebrow. Sting eagerly shook his head. Sighing once again, she released her hold on the tiny Dragon Slayer and he fled to the group of children.  "I swear, when this is all over.." Jessie grumbled quietly.

"We're with you," Lucy, Levy, Mira, Romeo, and Yukino all agreed with her statement.

"Well, no use in sitting here and writhing in our exhaustion," Mira clapped her hands together, "let's eat!"  Everyone nodded and sat at their own seat around the circular table and began to dig in to their lunch.

~🐉👶~

Other than little arguments and laughter here and there, the Dragon Slayers didn't cause too much trouble for their "babysitters" throughout their lunch break.  Wendy, Carla, Happy, and Rogue had been chatting with one another while Natsu, Sting, Laxus, and Gajeel had given each other a glaring contest of sorts (Both Mira and Jessie made sure that it was nothing more).

Once everyone was finished with their meals, Levy, Lucy, Romeo, and Yukino helped throw away the trash while Mira and Jessie continued keeping a scary eye on the kids.  "All right, I think that's everything," Levy announced right after she threw away the last tray of discarded food and dirty napkins.  Lucy stretched her arms and let out a relaxing sigh.

"Mmm, I needed that kind of break today!" she smiled.

"So, what happens next?" Romeo asked, finishing the last of his fizzy soda before throwing the cup in the recycle bin.

"Well.." Mira looked up at the glass-paned ceiling of the mall.  The glass revealed the sky to be shades of blue and purple mixed together, along with a tint of yellow leftover from the sunset.  "There's nothing much we can do, since the mall's going to close soon." Levy glanced back at her lacrima watch.  7:24 flashed back at her.

"Jeez," Jessie sweatdropped, glancing over Levy's shoulder.  "I suppose that means we just had dunch, or is it linner..?"  She sighed and covered her eyes with her hands, suddenly feeling very exhausted.  "I swear to Mavis I've lost my mind."  She took a deep breath as Levy, Lucy, Mira, and Romeo giggled at her failed attempt at wordplay.  "Lunch and dinner together, let's just call it."

"Well, I guess that means we have to head home now," Mira smiled as she picked up about 10 shopping bags all full of clothes.

"A-ah, me and Rogue are going to, um, secretly return this necklace." Yukino shyly held up the necklace, her cheeks splashing a light shade of pink.  Rogue crossed his arms and pouted.

"You should just keep it, since no one knows..." he mumbled to himself.  However, he immediately regretted saying such things when Sting slowly shuffled his way beside his Dragon Slayer twin.

"Did I hear you say something about Yukino?" Sting smirked evilly.  Rogue's pale and round cheeks flushed a beet-red.

"I have got to stop saying these things whenever you're near," Rogue hissed.

"No argument here," Sting laughed maliciously and nodded.  Rogue muttered curse words under his breath, and even though Sting could hear him, he ignored him and continued laughing like a stereotypical evil villain.

In the background, Jessie sweatdropped as she heard Sting laugh a pompous laugh that only villains would do, and she wasn't the only one.  "Ano...why is Sting laughing like an evil villain?" A sweat drop rolled down Lucy's head as well as her ears picked up the unusual sound.  Jessie once again rubbed her eyes, mimicking what a tired mother would do when tired of her child.

"Just...let's just not question it," she grumbled.  "Let's just go home and let this day be over."  Lucy stifled a laugh and nodded.

~🐉👶To The Girls' homes in Fairy Hills👶🐉~

"So, I guess this is it," Lucy took a deep breath and sighed.  The entire gang were just outside Fairy Hills, saying their goodbyes to Lucy, Natsu, and Happy, since they were living in a different apartment in a different building.
"Sure you don't wanna stay here? I'm sure our landlady wouldn't mind for just one or two days," Jessie offered once again.

"Ah, no thanks," Lucy smiled and declined, tightening her grip on Natsu's hand when he tried to stray away.

"Well, okay," Jessie frowned, but offered a smile. Lucy returned the smile and waved goodbye to her friends.

"We'll call you and tell you about tomorrow's schedule okay??" Levy reminded her best friend loudly as she started walking away.

"Hai!" Lucy turned around and called back.

"Why couldn't we have just stayed with them?" Natsu puffed out his cheeks.

"I thought you said you had the key to my house?" Lucy's voice quickly dropped from friendly to dark. Natsu felt sweat roll down his forehead. In retrospect, he probably shouldn't have said anything.

"I-I do.." he muttered uncertainly. Happy stifled a laugh and Lucy let out a small "humph."

"Then, what are you complaining about?" the blond asked sharply. Natsu could feel himself shrink down as the blond towered over him with a scary glower.

"N-n-nothing at all," he squeaked, feeling very scared for his own life. Lucy let out another "hmph" and continued to stomp her way back to her apartment, her grip now iron-tight. Natsu cringed at her nails digging into his smooth and childlike hands, but he knew better than to complain..anymore.

~To da FIRST EVA GRUVIA MOMENT??? 😮~

"Gray-sama~🎶?" Juvia sang with hearts in her eyes as she skipped her way to her beloved. "Did you find anything~🎶?"

"No," Gray dead panned. The two of them were in the guild library, doing their duty of researching and trying to fix the little kiddy problem that has surfaced. Gray was sitting down on a wooden table, a book in the palm of one of his hands and his head resting on the other. "And why do you sound like you're singing?"

"Because Gray-sama always makes Juvia want to sing!" Juvia responded happily.

"Right..." Gray sweatdropped, not taking his eyes off of the book he was reading.

"Hey whoa, we're still here you know." It was then that two flying Exceeds flew into the library room. "If you're gonna flirt with each other, you may want to do it later. We've got a mission to do remember?" Gray's cheeks turned pink at the sound of "flirt" and turned his head to give a glare to the magenta-colored cat who had just opened her mouth.

"We are not flirting," he spat, his cheeks a rosy pink. Lexi's lips curled into a smirk as Juvia tackled Gray with a hug.

"Ah~! Gray-sama acknowledges Juvia's flirting!" she squealed, only making the raven-haired's blush grow 50 more shades darker.

"G-get off of me!" he stammered, trying to push the clingy bluenette away from him.

"Gray-sama noticed me~" Juvia seemed to ignore him and continued to fangirl in the moment. Lexi let out a laugh while PantherLily chuckled.

"You two really seem to be a good couple," the black and white Exceed commented with a secretly-smug grin. Gray scowled at the Iron Dragon Slayer's Exceed.

"And what about you and, and.." The Ice-Make mage cursed at himself as he couldn't find anyone to ship with the small male Exceed, which only made him laugh at his attempt.

"There isn't anyone to 'ship' me with, as you say," he smirked in triumph. Lexi rubbed her chin in thought and abruptly snapped her fingers.

"Oh! I know! Kiwi x Lily!" she suggested, congratulating herself for thinking of such a genius ship.

"HAH?!?" Lily almost choked on air. Gray's bitter frown turned to a smirk and Juvia had to stifle a giggle.

"Yeah, you know what? That's a good ship right there cat," Gray's smirk showed off his pearly white teeth, making Juvia internally fangirl even more.

"Ah~! Gray-sama's teeth are so handsome too!" she squealed.

"How can teeth be handsome..?" Lexi felt a drop of sweat roll down her forehead as she watched Juvia continue to squeeze Gray, who's face now rivaled a certain requip mage's hair. Lily regained his composure and sighed.

"All right, we should probably get back to finding out more information," Lily spoke up.

"Heh?? Aw..." Lexi sulked while Gray eagerly nodded his head. Juvia puffed out her cheeks, but she knew that the cat with the sword on his back was right.

"Fine," she pouted, reluctantly letting go of her crush and standing up. Dusting off her blue dress, she looked over to Lily, her fangirling mood over. "Did Lily-san find any more Dragon Slayer books?" He grinned and nodded.

"I did, actually," he answered. He gestured for Lexi to come with him and turned around. Lexi sighed and lazily used her Aera magic to fly over to him.

"Do you really want this to end so quickly?" Lexi asked quietly as they flew into the large section of the library, which was filled wall to wall with large and tall shelves stacked to the brim with books. "I'm having so much fun fangirling over how many ships are starting to sail! I mean seriously, what are the odds of Gruvia, Nalu, Gale, Miraxus, Rowen, Royu, and Stessie all being together???"

"Uh, what?" Lily sweatdropped. He had absolutely no idea what any of those names meant. Lexi let out a sigh of annoyance and facepalmed.

"Are you not happy that Levy and Gajeel get to spend some time together??" she asked a more-understandable question to him. Lily tilted his head, looking thoughtful.

"Well, I know they are going to get together sooner or later," he admitted. "I guess that the time they're spending right now isn't so bad.."

"So, how 'bout we sabotage the 'research' then??" the raspberry-loving Exceed eyes glinted with mischief. "Just to make it a bit longer?" Lily glanced at his fellow Exceed.

"As much as that sounds tempting.." Lexi's face dropped as she knew where he was going with it.

"Don't you dare say--"

"I rather be more loyal to Gajeel and help him in his time of need." The kiwi-loving Exceed smirked as Lexi groaned.

"You're no fun," she pouted. Lily chuckled and shook his head.

"Just help me with the books."

~Timeskip, brought to you by the adorable Lucifer/Urushihara from The Devil Is a Part-Timer!~

Gray let out a sigh and he lazily flipped the brown book cover from the book he was reading closed. The words Dragon Slayers: History and Anatomy were engraved in gold at the top of the cover. "Nothing at all, huh..." Gray muttered under his breath. He shyly glanced over to his side, where Juvia was leaned against him, quietly sleeping with her hands coiled around his arms. He couldn't help but grin at the sight of the bluenette in a deep slumber from a long day of reading books purely about age spells and Dragon Slayers.

"Gruvia~~~" Lexi whispered into Gray's ear, making shudders go down his back from the abrupt yet loud sound in his ear. His face turned back into a shade of beet-red, but he couldn't yell at the Exceed, or else the bluenette would wake up. Lexi knew this and stuck out her tongue at Gray. "Me and Lily are going to go back home to our Dragon Slayers, so have fun Gruvia~" she sang before she and Lily left the room. Gray could only sit there with steam coming out of his ears in silent frustration.

"Hot..." Juvia murmured in her sleep, and then smiled dreamily. "Gray-sama's so hot~"
