April, 2019 :

"Say something!"

Seokjin's shoulders slumped.Exhaling a frustrated breath,he snatched the almost finished packet of chips from his best friend.

"Jeon Jungkook, I'm talking to you!",he sneered,fist crushing the snack's pack into it when he noticed the younger rolling his eyes at him.

"Jungk-"

"You literally asked me to just listen to you a few minutes ago!",Jungkook snapped back,casting a pointed look at the older.

"I had asked you to-",Seokjin's mouth twitched in annoyance."I had asked you to listen to me carefully and to say what you want to say after that.",he slouched on the couch, letting his head fall back upon it's head rest tiredly.

The raven lifted his shoulders."What am I supposed to say in this?"

Seokjin blinked.

"You don't have anything to say?Really,Jungkook?!",he shook his head.

"Listen...",he started.

"No you listen to me first! First of all... How many years has it been since Eommonim's wedding?",Jungkook rested his elbows upon his knees,gaze hard and steady, which made Seokjin curse in his mind.

"3 years...?",he gulped, trying to look as much confident as he could.

"3 years.",his bestfriend nodded while looking at his feet.

"Almost.",he added immediately.

"Doesn't matter, Hyung!",the younger raised his voice,causing Seokjin to cover his forehead with his right hand.

"The thing that matters is that you had a one night stand three years ago and you're telling this to me today!"

"Today,hyung!",Jungkook scowled.

"Do you think I should be okay with this? With the fact that you literally hided something like this....this important from me for this long?!"

"You know what? This is why I didn't tell you anything.I knew that you would react like this. Because what I did was something very unexpected from me,right?!",Seokjin said calmly,the words felt bitter on the tip of his tongue.

Jungkook scoffed.

"You know it very well that I have nothing against what you did.Hell I tell you everything about my flings myself!"

"But that's the point here,hyung. We don't keep secrets from each other....There's a reason we call each other best friends right? Now tell me how am I supposed to digest this fact that you had kept this a secret from me for three freaking years?!"

The blonde rubbed his temple. He sighed,biting the corner of his lips,he looked up at the younger.

"There was a reason...",he muttered and the raven infront of him clenched his jaws.

"And what was that...?",Jungkook asked in a half mad,half mocking tone.

Seokjin messed with the hem of his T-shirt.With a slight twitch in his eyes,he reasoned,-

"I thought you would... you know... not like what I did. I mean it's definitely not something I've ever been comfortable with."

"I thought you would be... disgusted with me. Or maybe just-"

"Stop this,alright?",the younger laughed a dry,humorless laugh,which faltered in a blink of an eye.

"You know everything about my ex girlfriends,my flings,my crushes. I've even told you about everything, every little thing that I would never dare to tell anyone else in this world. I've told you things that I'm... I'm certainly not proud of."

"Then how can you even imagine that I would judge you just because you spent a night with a stranger?"

"Don't even try to give me that lamest of lame excuses alright? Stop blabbering nonsense infront of me and just tell me the truth.Why did you hide it from me?"

Seokjin cursed under his breath,closing his eyes in order to keep himself calm and steady.

He knew he had messed up big time.

"And please don't tell me that you didn't consider it as something important.Because, unfortunately I know you since I've started knowing this world Kim Seokjin."

"Wait...",Jungkook's forehead creased, big,doe eyes staring at the older with a hint of betrayal and disbelief.

"It happened three years ago... Which means... 2016...right?"

Seokjin gazed at the floor in horror. He was not at all liking where the conversation was leading them.

"Did you...hide it because... because of my confe-"

"Jungkook stop okay? Just stop!",the blonde huffed, desperately trying to divert Jungkook's focus.

"It has nothing to do with that.Gosh why  do you always bring that up? I've never....thought about it like that JK... Neither you should. It couldn't change us and I don't want it to affect us in the future either."

"And anyways... I'm so tired... so worn out right now! So many things are happening in my life,and now you're bringing up those long forgotten matters to top that off!"

Jungkook frowned,almost unconvinced until his bestfriend's lips created a pout.

"JK please ! Don't be like this no! I already have a lot of tension in my head,at least don't enhance it instead of helping me out!",the older whined, his nose scrunched as he groaned,slapping his hands over his own face.

Jungkook rolled his eyes.Shaking his head,he sat beside the blonde, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Okay stop this melodrama and tell me what's bothering you so much...",he breezed, voice still a bit stern by the sense of betrayal from his bestfriend.

"There's a reason I told you all these after three years, you know?",Seokjin uncovered his face before giving a helpless look at Jungkook, looking absolutely like a lost puppy.

Jungkook gave him a questioning glare."I don't have my whole life for this, you know?",he grumbled, trying to test the waters.

"I met him...",the older mumbled and suddenly,his toes were the most interesting things in this world to him.

"Whom...?",the raven wondered with his wide eyes.

"Him! Tae-.... Taehyung,who else?!",Seokjin hissed.

Jungkook's wide eyes became even wider as his jaw dropped in shock.

"That...Daegu guy?",he tried to confirm.

"Yes...idiot!",the older mused.

"B-but... WHEN?! How?! I mean... Where?!",the raven sat upright on the couch, his full concentration on the older.

-"I met him today. Honestly, I had never imagined in my wildest dreams that this day will come in my life! I...I swear I have never been so tensed about anyone or anything else before!"

"Okay fine,I got it! Now tell me what exactly happened?!",the younger was clearly a bit too much engrossed in the story.

Seokjin sighed. Licking his lips,he proceeded to explain,

"Actually he.... he is my co-"

Jungkook groaned as the doorbell interrupted Seokjin.

"Are you expecting someone?",he inquired the older who was now striding his way towards the door.

"As long as I remember.... No.",he adjusted his T-shirt before twisting the door knob.

Jungkook heard the door creak the slightest bit as Seokjin opened it.

After a brief,awkward moment of silence,an unfamiliar,low voice was finally heard from the doorway.

"Ah-Actually I'm your... neighbor.So I thought-"

Something seemed weird to the raven. The tone of the "neighbor" and the silence of his bestfriend made him a bit uncomfortable.

He squirmed on the couch before deciding to join the older. So he got up and padded towards the door.

"Hyung...?",he called out as he finally faced Seokjin's back. Through the side of the blonde's left shoulder, he saw a boy;a gorgeous boy of almost his own age with dark red hair and a small tub of cactus cupped in between his hands.

The boy's amber eyes traveled towards him as he stood still in his place.

"JK...",Seokjin finally turned his head to look at the raven,his voice way too normal for the younger's comfort.

"This is...",the older gestured towards the red haired boy and then, looked up at him with a certain look in his eyes that screamed 'Help me!'.

"....Taehyung.",Seokjin breathed.

"My....neighbor..."
