Alcohol
Summary: where Peter accidentally calls Tony "dad" and then gets a little drunk
"So you're still coming here right after the party? You know we stay up late on movie night, I'm sure we'll be starting our 4th movie by the time you show up."
"Yeah, I don't know. I don't really plan on staying for too long, I'm just showing up with Ned 'cause he wants to talk to..."
"Dude, shut up! Don't tell the Tony Stark about my love life!" Ned interrupted, making Peter giggle.
"Sorry, sorry... The point is that I won't be there too long."
"Okay, just text me when you're on your way, kid. And please, for the love of God, DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL. It's so dangerous and stuff, don't want you spilling any beans." Tony sighed over the phone and making the kid smile.
"Don't worry, dad. I won't."
Peter opened his eyes and covered his mouth with his hand. Ned shot him a questioning look.
"I called him dad!" Peter whispered to his friend.
"What?"
"What did you just call me?" Tony asked, still a little shaken up.
"I... I said..." Peter looked at Ned for help, but his friend just shrugged "I said, that, don't worry, uh, man." Ned facepalmed himself and sighed "Uh, I won't drink any alcohol".
"Man? Seriously?"
"Yeah, uh, I reaaally gotta go, man. Ned's hurrying me up."
"No I'm not."
"Yeah, he's gonna kill me if I don't hang up."
"Wait, Pe..."
"Bye, man!"
And he hung up.
"Oh my God!" he threw his phone on the bed "I can't believe I just did that!" he hit his head against Ned's bedroom wall.
"Dude, chill. You meant it as a joke... Right?"
"I... I don't know, Ned! But it was so screwed up! I can't call him dad! He's like, my boss!"
"Come on, he won't even remember you said it." Ned stood up and placed a hand on Peter's shoulder.
"Dude, I gotta go back to the tower right after the party, of course he'll remember."
"Well, uh, cancel." Ned suggested.
Peter turned to look at him with a confused look on his face.
"Ned, I can't cancel movie night with THE AVENGERS!"
"Yeah, you're right." Ned frowned "I'm sure you'll figure it out, but we should get going. Betty said she'd be there early."
After some bangings against the wall, Peter fixed his hair and they both finished getting ready. They walked downstairs where Ned's mom was waiting for them and she handed the car keys to Ned.
"I know you already have your license, but please, drive carefully and don't drink a single drop of alcohol."
"Don't worry, mom." Peter cringed at the thought of a similar situation that had happened just a few minutes ago.
They said their goodbyes to Ned's parents and got into the car, driving to someone's party.
The second they walked in, Ned spotted Betty and Peter was left alone. He didn't really mind since no one payed attention to him anyways, so he took that time to walk into the kitchen and grab a beer. He kind of liked the taste of it, besides it was just one.
"What's up, loser." said a voice behind him. Peter turned around and faced MJ, who was holding a thick sketchbook in her hand.
"Hi, MJ. What are you doing here?" he asked, a little nervous.
"Well, you know, there's a lot of people in crisis in these high school parties. It's gold to me." she waved the book in front of his face and he smiled awkwardly "Now, since when do you drink beer?"
Peter looked at the beer he was holding and frowned "Uh, I like the taste."
"No one likes the taste. But off you go." she shot him an MJ smile, and walked out of the kitchen.
Peter kept on drinking his beer as he walked through the dance floor on his way to the backyard, where his classmates were playing beer pong or something like that. He was offered to play, to which he decided to say yes. He wasn't very good and that meant he had to drink a lot, but it wasn't a big deal with his enhanced metabolism.
"Aye, Parker." said Flash next to him "Didn't think you'd know how to have fun."
Peter didn't reply, he just took a sip of his beer and watched as some guys continued playing.
"Do you wanna try something better than beer?" Flash suggested. And Peter was about to say no, but since when does Flash Thompson act like a normal person around him? Why wasn't he bullying him?
Flash took Peter's silence as a yes, and offered him his glass of gin tonic and lemon. A fancy drink.
Peter took the glass, and damn, it tasted nice, nothing like alcohol, but like a soda maybe. He liked it.
Maybe he liked it a little too much.
Peter had never been drunk before, so when he felt a little tipsy he just brushed it off and continued to drink the other alcoholic beverages that Flash told him to tried. They walked to the side of the table where the alcohol was, next to a group of guys who were sitting in circle.
"Yo, guys, wanna do some shots?" asked one of the guys, who also happened to be shirtless.
Flash looked at Peter and shoved him into the circle, they both sat down, and before Peter could say no, a shot was placed in front of him.
"Come on, Parker. Don't be a pussy." Flash teased and took a shot himself.
Peter did the same thing once, twice, many times. And yeah, you guessed. He was now very much drunk.
Ned was looking for Peter in the crowd of people who were in the kitchen, but it wasn't until he heard a lot of cheering coming from the dance floor that he actually decided to take a look there. And oh, boy.
There was Peter, trying to dance to some Bruno Mars song with Flash Thompson laughing his ass off next to him. Surprisingly, they seemed to be having fun.
"Oh mu gawd, Neddie!" exclaimed Peter as he sort of walked to his best friend and dragged him into the dance floor.
"Peter, are you drunk?"
"Whaaaat? No!" he laughed "Act...ually. Hahaha, I think I... might be? I don't... know hahahaha I've... uh. never been, like, drunk before."
Peter furrowed his eyebrows as if his statement had been confusing and funny at the same time, and Ned didn't know what to do. Because what was he supposed to do with a drunk Peter Parker? Oh, God. What was he supposed to do with a drunk Spider-Man?!
"Peter, you're drunk." Ned bit his lip and looked around him "I gotta get you home real quick, dude."
"Nooooo.... Neddie.... I don't wanna." Peter pouted "May's gonna kill me."
Ned looked at his friend as he walked both of them to his mom's car. Peter looked like shit, honestly. He had somehow lost his flannel shirt, and was left with a simple white t-shirt, that had a big, unknown, blue stain.
"I can't bring you to my house cause then my mom would kill us both."
They both sat in the car; Ned was thinking, while Peter was almost asleep. And then he had an idea.
Ned took Peter's phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.
"Kid? Are you coming?"
"Uh, hello Mr. Stark. This is actually Ned, Peter's best friend."
"Oh, I've heard about you. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, uh... Peter had one too many, though."
"What?!Oh my God, I told him not to drink alcohol."
"Yeah, I know. It just doesn't seem like him. But, the thing is I can't bring him home with me, and I can't take him home to May because she would kill him, but I know that he was supposed to go to the Tower after the party. Is it okay if I drop him off there?"
"Don't worry, just tell me where you are and I'll pick him up."
"Okay."
Ned sent Tony his address, and drove home. When he got there, Tony was already standing next to his car with a concerned look.
Ned got off the car and walked to the passenger's side to get Peter out, who wasn't asleep but wasn't awake either.
"Here, I've got him." said Tony, grabbing Peter from Ned, who was a little nervous "I'll bring him to the Tower with me. Thanks, Ted.
"It's not a problem, Mr. Stark." Ned smiled.
As Ned walked into his house, Tony drove back to the Tower, with a very drunk Peter Parker in the backseat. Once he got there, he grabbed Peter and put the kid's arm around his shoulder. They took the elevator and walked into the living room, where the rest of the Avengers were.
"Oh. My. God. Is he drunk?" asked Sam.
"No!" Peter laughed "Of course not, I'm Spider-Man."
Tony rolled his eyes and made Peter seat on the couch, next to Steve.
"You're underage, you shouldn't be drinking alcohol." the captain said with a stern look.
"I just... had a beer, Mr. Captain America Sir."
"Oh, yeah? It doesn't look like it." Tony said.
"Sorry... dad." Peter chuckled, making Tony open his eyes.
"There! He said it again, I told you guys!"
