Y/N whispered gently, rocking the baby blue cot. She smiled, seeing the tiny human of her own finally shut their eyes and fall asleep. She was exhausted, taking her place on the couch.

The apartment was small. One bedroom, one bathroom and one kitchen area.
She had the baby in the bedroom, and couldn't afford much else. A couch from the thrift shop was the best she could do. She'd make do. She withstood through hell, and she'd do it all again for her baby boy.

She allowed her self to relax on the couch, curling up under the cheap second hand blanket she had bought.

One week.

One week in this apartment. And many more to go...

One week with her baby, away from her nightmare.

Away from him.

And suddenly, she was free.
