Naturally we planned for one baby not two so we had to do some switching and maneuvering in the nursery. However the dads work fast and got a second crib built and lined up next to the first one.

My first week home was like a mad house. My mother came to stay with us for a bit so she can help out and I can get some rest, while trying to focus on finishing school.

The boys come over everyday but there's still school and jobs for them as well.

Once we got a routine going it got easier.

I look down at the two bundles of joy sleeping. New borns sleep a lot and I'm so jealous of it. Even if I try to rest I always jump up wondering what they're doing.

I walk out their room to make myself some tea. My mom went home yesterday only because my dad dragged her back. I told her Maya and I were found but that woman was dedicated to playing stay at home grandma.

My phone dings and of course it's the baby daddies.

Jungkook🐰: How are you? How's the babies? Everything okay?

Me: I'm fine, they're sleep and yes.

Changkyun🐺: If you feel even slightly postpartum depressed call us right away.

Me: Don't you guys have exams tomorrow? Go to bed.

Jungkook🐰: We're studying.

Me: TOGETHER?

Changkyun🐺: Haechan too! He saids hi.

Me: Good luck 🫡

My depression kicked in as soon as I left the hospital. It's not too out of control for me to handle but it is draining when you're trying to adapt to being a mother.

My insecurities of not being good enough takes over and it becomes a constant hell.

But fuck it we move.

I chop of some lemons to throw in my tea and wait for the water to boil. Maya's bedroom door opens and Mingi comes out.

Me: I didn't know you were here.
Mingi: Yeah, your place is quicker from my job. How you holding up kid?
Me: It's all surreal. It hasn't hit that I'm a mom and those are my kids forever.

I grab the water and begin to make my tea.

Me: Want some?
Mingi: I'm alright.

I nod my head and continue adding my mint leaves.

Mingi: Your kids are going to have the best family imaginable. Those two baby fathers of yours? Great guys, and their rich so there's that.

I roll my eyes playfully.

Mingi: You're an unserious human being so they'll always laugh. Maya knows how to cut hair so you don't have to pay for haircuts, I'm a cool uncle so everyone loves me. Your parents are gonna' spoil them rotten. So don't worry too much. Do what you can but it takes a village. Don't take the stress alone.

Mingi is a goofball but he's always been like a brother to me since he started dating Maya. When the time counts he's always reliable and I can trust him with anything.

Me: Thank you.
Mingi: I have to study a little so I'll be up. You get some sleep and I'll listen out for them, okay?
Me: Okay.

Daniel and Samuel.

Daniel stares at you like you're the weirdest looking thing ever. Very on brand for Changkyun's kid.

Samuel stares at you like he's trying to figure out if you're friend or foe. Very on brand for Jungkook's kid.

Once you feed them they don't care what you are. Very on brand for my kids.

I start to burp Daniel and I fell warm liquid pouring down my back, oh God he threw up. I rub his back gently and he ends up burping. Once he's all cleaned up I lay him down so I can burp his brother, before I can assume the burping position he vomits down my shirt.

Someone knocks at the door.

Oh of course.

Being the vomit filled mess that I am I open the door. Changkyun's mother and her expensive fur coat stands there looking lost.

She clears her throat looking me up and down.

Me: Listen Mrs.Im, I'm running on no sleep theres vomit on my back and boobs, stitches in my coochie, and I have an exam tomorrow. I'm in no mood to argue with you or Clover.

She nods her head.

Mrs.Im: I didn't come here for a fight. I talked to my husband, well um yeah. He said Changkyun  and Jungkook were at school but you were home. Can I come in?

Not having the strength to argue I step aside to let her in. I finish burping Samuel and thank God he doesn't vomit anymore.

He makes a little noise and I smile.

Mrs.Im: I can watch them while you shower.
Me: So I can come out and see you kidnapped them?
Mrs.Im: What is this lifetime?
Me: You offered me money to go away.

She lets out a whistle.

Mrs.Im: Redemption arcs really are hard.
Me: Redemption?
Mrs.Im: I want my family back. Seeing Changkyun give his father a chance made me realize it isn't too late.

Mmm.

Me: What about your obsession with money and social status?
Mrs.Im: You don't sugarcoat anything do you?
Me: Niether do you.

She smiles before laughing.

Mrs.Im: You'd make such a fun daughter in law, but yes I admit I came on a bit strong. I'm sorry for suggesting that. That proves you're a much better person than I.
Me: You still deal with Clover?

She shakes her head.

Mrs.Im: I cut her and her family loose.

It seems like the parents are the star of the show lately.

Me: This is Samuel, Jungkook's son.

She takes him from me and her eyes light up.

Mrs.Im: He's so precious. His eyes are doe eyed like his father's.
Me: I know. Your grandson went to sleep I think.

She looks at me with tears in her eyes. Babies have a way of bringing emotions out of people I swear.

Mrs.Im: I'm a grandmother.

I smile.

Me: I'll be in the shower if you need me.

Baby throw up hardens so fast.
