The next day, Taehyung submitted his report and everyone was stunned.

"Did you do this Kim Taehyung?" Mrs Kim asked, her eyes wide open with surprise.

"Yes I did!" Taehyung replied and the entire hall was in a state of uproar. However, he kept the situation about Terri's woods to himself thinking he would figure out a way to deal with it it later.

"Impressive!" Mr Kim said with a smile on his face. Taehyung looked at him and his heart swelled. He had never seen his father that happy with him. In fact, ever since he was born, he had never smiled that brightly. This was a first and Taehyung realised just how much he needed his parents approval. He was happy that this time they seemed proud even though it wasn't by his own doing.

"Whatever. It's not as if he did much" Jin spat out condescendingly. "He only  figured out a few discrepancies in the report"

"No need to make a big deal out of it." Namjoon added. "This changes nothing. Your company is still going under whether you like it or not"

"Who says it will!" Mrs Kim retorted, her face twisted in anger. Everyone started to bicker back and forth but Jungkook was surprisingly quiet, observing Taehyung with dark eyes. The meeting ended and everyone went their seperate ways. Taehyung was heading to his office when Jungkook suddenly went after him, calling out his name.

"Taehyung! Wait up!" He shouted.

Jin who was beside him frowned hard but Namjoon nudged him and they left them alone. Jungkook finally caught up with him and smiled.

"Can we talk Cuz?"

"What do you want?"

Taehyung had never trusted Jungkook. He always seemed to be up to something.

Jungkook smiled. "I know what you are thinking but believe me, I'm only doing what my parents want. I have nothing against you"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Really? I don't believe you."

He started to head to his office but Jungkook continued.

"Believe me cuz."

When Taehyung continued to stare at him in disbelief, he smiled. "Okay, how about we go out for lunch. Let's have fun. What do you say?"

Taehyung frowned. "I have a company to save. I don't have time for fun!"

Jungkook laughed. "Oh cousin, you have gotten so serious. You used to be so jovial..."

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "That's because I'm not a genius like you. I have to work twice as hard if I ever want to compete. I don't have the luxury of time to do what I want. My parents wouldn't let me"

Jungkook smiled. "So that report today, it was all you?"

Taehyung gulped. No doubt Jungkook was suspicious but Taehyung was determined to cover his tracks well. He would never let Jungkook find out his secret.

"Yes. It was all me." He replied. "Can I go now?"

Jungkook shrugged. "Okay fine but I thought you should know Hobi is coming back in a week."

Taehyung sighed in frustration. Another obnoxious cousin

"And what has that got to do with me?"

"He wants us to hang out..."

"With you, I'm certain. You two are birds of the same feather. You should enjoy each other's company and leave me the hell out of it."

Jungkook chuckled. "You're just saying this now. You know once you see him, you can never say no to him"

"I will this time" Taehyung said. "So can I go now?"

Jungkook bowed mockingly and Taehyung swept past him. When he returned to his office, he gathered his breath. It seemed Jungkook was on to him. He had to be very careful and makee sure he never ever found out about Jimin.

Jimin looked out the bedroom window. The longer he stayed here, the more suffocated he felt. He was hoping he could go out of the house, get some fresh air but he couldn't. He was also very curious about Terri's woods. If he could find a way to get another supplier, everything would be fine but unfortunately, he was stuck here. Just as he swallowed hard, his cell phone suddenly rang. He hadn't received a single call since he came here. He didn't have much friends so it wasn't surprising. He stared at the caller ID, smiling when he saw it was Yoongi. He immediately picked up.

"Yoongi hyung?"

"Jimin...how are you doing?"

Jimin shrugged. "Can't say. I'm dying of boredom here. They won't let me out!"

" You agreed to stay locked up in there!"

Jimin sighed. " I know that but I'm gradually loosing my mind."

" Won't it be a hassle? Especially with your bump!"

" I'll hide it very well. It's just...I need to get out of here. There's something I have to do plus I'm worried about my mom"

In a low voice, he added. "How is she doing?"

Yoongi took a deep breath. " Pretty well. They're preparing her for surgery..."

Jimin swallowed hard. " She still hates me. I know she doesn't miss me at all"

"She pretends not to care but I often catch her looking at photographs of you two together"

He chuckled. "She may not show it but I'm sure she'll be happy when you see her"

Jimin piqued with happiness. "Are you sure about this?"

"Positive!"

"I don't believe you but I'd like to think you are right"

Yoongi continued. "So what do you want to do? Are you going to sneak out?"

"I've studied the Dynamics of this family. I know when to easily slip away... I'll text you the address so you can come find me" he said.

" I can't stay here one second longer"

"I'll be there. We have a lot to talk about" Yoongi said

Jimin ended the call and a few seconds later, he sent Yoongi the address of the Kim's house. Yoongi messaged him that he was on their way and the two left. Thirty minutes later, Jimin creeped down the stair case to the kitchen and as always found Mrs Gong ready to leave for the supermarket. Jimin noticed she always kept a spare key beneath the foot mat leading to the back door. She spent two hours before returning home. The first thing she always did was check on Jimin.

Jimin noticed all of these and ten minutes later after Mrs Gong left, he took out the key, opened the door and off he went. The back gate was always open and since there was no one else apart from. Mrs Gong and the family, there was no one to stop him. Jimin took a deep breath and stepped out through the gate. Yoongi stood just a few meters away from the gate and as soon as they saw each other, they embraced.

"You look good!" Yoongi commented.

Jimin rolled his eyes. "Yeah, all I do is eat and sleep"

"But I'm glad to be out of there"

Yoongi helped him adjust his clothes, Although his bump was still a little obvious.

"How is Taehyung?" Yoongi asked.

"Don't want to talk about him right now."

Yoongi nodded his head. "Alright then, shall we go?"

"Sure..." Jimin said but just as they were about to leave, he stopped.

"Before we head to the hospital, there's a place we must go"

Yoongi stopped looking confused. " Where?"

" Another woods company. Taehyung's company is in trouble because their sole supplier has monopolised the market, making it nearly impossible to get quality woods from elsewhere. It's one of the reasons why their company is slowly detoriorating"

Yoongi frowned. " So you still care about him"

Jimin gathered his breath. " No I don't, I'm just worried!"

He sighed. "I can't have his family business going bankrupt. I can't leave my baby in that situation"

Yoongi scoffed. " That's what you tell yourself"

Jimin rolled his eyes. " That's the truth"

He waved her hand non chalantly. "Whatever. I don't care if you believe me or not"

"So can you help me?"

Yoongi took a deep breath. " There's only one person I know that has the connections to get things like this done but..."

He bit his lips. "I have no intention of reaching out to him"

Jimin stared at him, noting just how his expression dimmed. He lost all color to his face suggesting that whatever the problem was, it must have been really traumatic. Jimin grabbed his hand.

"Let's leave this place before someone sees us"

They started to leave and not long after, his cellphone rang. He picked it up sighing heavily as he noticed it was Taehyung calling him. He ignored the call.

"Who is that?"

"Who do you think?" Jimin sneered. They had reached the bus stop and where about to board a bus when a customer from Yoongi's shop appeared and began chatting with him. Yoongi excused himself to talk to the woman a few meters away while Jimin waited on the side.

Just then, a group of three boys coming from the opposite direction started to walk in his direction. They stopped upon reaching Jimin, their mouths upturned in a jeer. Their eyes sparking devilishly.

"What do we have here?" One of them said.

"Is my eyes decieving me or is this guy pregnant?" One other said attempting to drag Jimin's coat away

"Leave me alone." Jimin whimpered. "Stay away from me"

The boys burst into laughter and started to mimic his way of talking until finally one of them pointed at him.

"You're an anomaly. Things like you shouldn't exist"

"Please. I don't want any trouble" Jimin cried, his eyes straying over to Yoongi who had still not noticed what was going on.

The first boy smiled smugly. "Do you want your friend to help you? I don't think that's going to happen"

The third boy smacked his head. "Dumb bitch! How can someone like you still dare to open your filthy legs!"

"We're going to teach you a good lesson!"

They were just about to descend on him when someone appeared in front of his eyes, blocking him with his body. Jimin stared at the broad back and the curly dark hair in front of him, his heart beating widly in his chest.

"Taehyung?" he whispered in shock.

"You should have answered my call" Taehyung responded, giving him a sideways smile before turning his full attention on the boys before him.

"Now, who wants to go first!"
