She opened her eyes to see nothing but dark.
Alice felt weird, like something was running down her face, she didnt feel her wings anymore, over all else everything felt numb.
She wasnt afraid of the darkness like her cousin boris but she didnt know where she was and that scared her. She hated being left alone and ignored, she called for her parent. She wants company, someone that she can at least seek help for.

But all that came up was a spark, she then realized her hand was on a lever, when she pulled it there was light but what she saw she didnt liked.
A creature of some sort was being zapped to death on a metal table, his limbs strapped down tightly and a familiar person behind a wall made of glass.
Her vison was off, she cant see out of one of her eyes her other eye can see a little bit.

She noticed that the person on the other side of the glass wall was her parent, they looked disturbed when they saw her.
She tried to say something but all that came out was something completely diffrent like she had no control of what she says, the sound of her voice was also strange but she couldn't lay a finger on it.

The more she spoke the more scared her parent looked, like they werent looking at her but that spooky monster that alice always saw under her bed.
She didnt like it. It made her feel like a freak.

"(M/d)?"
She tried to say.
"Do you know what its like living in the dark puddles?" But thats what she said instead.

There was no use to try and talk the way she wanted.

The rest was a big blur, there was screaming, there was laughter, and then there was a loud bang.
She sees the light again seeing her cousin boris shaking her parent.

They looked pale like a ghost, and red was comming out of a small cut on their head. Boris looked paniced, like his life depeneds on waking them up.
Alice walked towards them, wanting to know that her parent was ok. "(M/d)?? Plz wake up" she called finally talking like herself, it felt like she was left alone. Did they leave her? Went to heaven without saying goodbye? She felt abandoned...

boris jumped at her voice and took out a wrench ready to defend himself.
She didnt know what he was afraid of, she didnt know what was really happening but she tried to come at him in the calmest expression she has and tries to tell him its ok. That shes here and nothing would hurt him.

But boris swong the wrench at her, she still felt numb but it didnt stop her from feeling emotionally hurt. Did boris betray her too?
The lights flickered as she lost control of herself, grabed him and then dragged him into the darkness.

She felt alone once again...

Alice woke up and started to cry, her ink tears run down her pale white cheeks. She couldnt stop crying till someone picked her up from her soft bed "shhh, shhh, its ok..." A voice said making alice look up to see her parent through her ink tears.

"(M/d) is here..." They cooed as they rocked alice, she didnt feel alone anymore. She was glad that her parent didnt leave and that she back to where she was.
