Ashton and Luke are on a class field trip to the Zoo.

Luke held Ashton's hand as they followed their classmates in a line around the large Zoo.

"Lookit!" He gasped, pointing all around him. "Aminals!"

Ashton nodded and pulled Luke along. "Yep, lotsa animals."

"Cotton candy!" Luke pointed suddenly. "Can I have?"

"No, gotta stay with the class!" Ashton frowned as he struggled to pull Luke.

Luke sat on the ground. "But Ashy! Want!"

"Lucas." Ashton sighed and tried pushing Luke instead. "Have, to, go!"

Luke sat on the floor as people stepped around them. "Not going without candy. Final." He pouted and crossed his arms.

Ashton glared and gripped the back of Luke's shirt. He tugged on it. "No Luke! Have to stay with class!"

He gave a final tug and slipped, landing on his bum.

Luke giggled.

Ashton huffed at him and stood up. "Fine. You stay here, I catch up with class." He stuck his tongue out and ran to catch up.

Luke frowned. That wasn't what he wanted.

"Ashon!" He called, getting up. "I sowwy, come back?"

He ran through the mass of people and saw Ashton in line with the rest of his class.

He ran up and hugged the older boy from behind. "Sowwy Ashy. Don't leave me again. Got scared."

Ashton smiled and took his hand. "I protect you! Go see penguins?"

Luke gasped and jumped up and down. "Yas, yas! Go see all the penguins!"

They followed the class to the polar exhibit.

Luke ran up to the barrier and pointed down. "Name that one Pengy!"

Ashton stood beside him. He pointed to a penguin that was near Luke's penguin. "Name that one Pengy Two!"

They giggled and gripped the fence that serperated them from the exhibit.

"Wanna get closer." Luke declared, leaning against the fence.

Ashton frowned. "Uh, Lu? Not good idea..." He pulled him back.

Luke sighed. "Wanna pet Pengy!"

"Can't pet Pengy!" Ashton protested.

"Want to pet Pengy!"

"Can't pet Pengy!"

"Ashon!"

"Lu!"

"Ugh!" Luke threw his hands in the air. "Pengy needs love!"

"Pengy has love!" Ashton pointed down. "See? Has Pengy friends!"

"Needs Lu love." Luke pouted.

"Does not need Lu love." Ashton sighed. "Lu can give Ashy Lu love."

Luke sighed and hugged him. "But wanna give Pengy Lu love too!"

Ashton held him tightly and walked away from the edge. "Not safe Lukey. Sowwy."

Luke sighed. "Someday."

They met back up with the class as they sat at picnic tables to eat lunch.

"Hi." Michael greeted them as he opened Calums water bottle for him. "Having good time?"

Luke glared at the table. "No. Couldn't get candy and couldn't give Pengy love. Horrible day."

Ashton sighed and rubbed Luke's back. "Not safe Lu, don't want Lu hurt."

"Dat sucks." Mikey said as he handed the water to Calum. Calum drank from it and leaned against Michael as he watched Luke and Ashton.

Luke laid his head on the table and sniffed. "Want a Pengy."

Ashton suddenly sat upright.

He climbed off the table. "Mikey watch Lu! Be right back!"

He ran off.

Mikey stared after him then looked at Luke. "Uh....stay."

Luke huffed into the table.

Luke looked around for Ashton. They were all climbing back onto the bus, but his bestest friend was no where to be seen.

He tugged on his teachers skirt. "Mrs.? Where Ashon?"

She smiled down at him and helped him onto the bus. "He's getting something dear. Have a seat and I'll see if he's almost done."

Luke sat down and looked out the window for Ashton.

He saw the teacher leave and a few minutes later, come back with Ashton.

The little boy held something in his hand as he climbed into the bus and sat beside Luke.

"Hi."

"Where you go?" Luke asked.

"Got Lu a Pengy!" Ashton opened his hand and held out a small Penguin key chain.

Luke gasped as he stared at it. "Ashon....lob!"

Ashton blushed and smiled as he clipped it to Luke's backpack. "There, now Lu has a Pengy."

Luke giggled. "Now need cotton candy."

Ashton laughed and pulled out his backpack. "Got that too." He pulled out a little baggy. "Share!"

Luke took a piece of the pink candy and fed it to Ashton. "Share!"
