Justin's POV:

I swung my fist back, ready to punch the motherfucker again when I felt Selena by my side telling me to stop. "Justin, it's not worth it." She shouted over the music although her voice sounded like she was about to cry. "She's right man, let's go." Tyson joined her tugging back at my arms to get me out of there. If nobody was to stop me I would have killed him with my bare hands. "I'm letting it go this time but if I ever see you near my girlfriend again, I'll make sure you're not breathing by the time I'm done with you." With one last glare at the prick, I let them guide me to the other side of the room, leaving him bleeding and his friends dumbfounded. Once we were a considerable distance away, I stopped Selena and examined her face, neck and basically every part of her skin that was exposed to that dickhead's greedy eyes. "Are you okay? Did he touch or something?" I felt my hands forming fists at my sides just by thinking of some other guy laying as much as a finger on my girl. "I'm alright, Justin. You got there just in time." She pulled me in for a hug, her arms still trembling because of the fright. I held her tight as she buried her face in my neck trying to even her breath. "I came as soon as Kelsey let me know." I whispered soothingly. "You're safe now, babe. That douche is not going to bother you ever again." She slightly pulled away from me so she would be able to gaze into my eyes. "I love it when you become all protective." Her lips twitched upwards in a small smile as mine mirrored them. "Good you do because I'm not letting you out of my sight tonight." I mumbled against her lips before kissing her sweetly. She giggled girlishly upon hearing that. Ugh this girl makes me go all soft. "Do you still want that drink?" I asked when I saw Tyson and Kelsey were already drinking theirs and dancing to the first notes of Clique by Kanye West, Big Sean and Jay Z. "Sure." Sel replied, nodding her head to the beat. We had listened to this song this morning while we were on the subway so she must have remembered it. I led her all the way to the bar, the whole time having my arms secured around her. "Two cubalibres." I ordered, watching as the man filled two red cups – I don't know why they're always red – with rum and coke. "Remember to watch my liquor in case I go crazy." Selena reminded me with a small chuckle. Yeah, we don't want her drunk like last time; although I must admit it was funny to watch. "Of course, Princess." I smirked, handing her one of the cups. I made out her cheeks turning red like they always do when I call her nicknames. Oh the effect I have on this chick. "Let's dance!" She suddenly suggested, dragging me to the dance floor where Tyson and Kelsey were grinding against each other. Selena eyed them weirdly, shaking her head, which made me laugh. "I can't dance like that." She determined. "Yes, you can. Let me teach you." I winked down at her, making her bite her lip at the perspective of dancing so sensually with me. She's so innocent, it's cute. Despite the fact that she was wearing pretty high heels, I was still a couple inches taller than her. Turning her around, I wrapped my free arm around her waist and pressed her body to mine so our pelvis were nearly at the same height. Clique kept blasting through the speakers as I swayed our hips from side to side to the rhythm. "See? You got it." I exclaimed proudly. To be the first time she dirty danced, she wasn't doing badly at all. Sel's eyes lit up in achievement as she moved her hips even more, letting loose. Her free arm – the one that wasn't holding her cup – came to curl around my neck as she smirked up at me. She was looking so sexy, it was actually taking everything in me not to bang her in the middle of this dance floor. When the song finished, Selena turned around and jiggled her cup in front of my face. "You already drank it?" I asked astonished. For someone who never drinks, she surely downed it quickly. Her lips curled inside her mouth as she nodded, only to break free again in a short giggle. I can't believe she's already tipsy. I couldn't help but chuckle amusedly. "Okay, wait a little until you have your next." I looked down at my own cup to see it was still half filled. Selena discarded her to the side, making it roll down the floor until I lost sight of it. "Oh my gosh, I love this song!" She clapped her hands when Rest Of My Life by Usher, Ludacris and David Guetta started echoing through the club. I frowned in disappointment because it's not the kind of song you can grind to but Selena went crazy whipping her hair and spinning around with Kelsey. I had to remind myself that they had only had a little of rum and mixed with coke. "Man, this is funny." Tyson laughed next to me as we contemplated the scene in front of us. I simply nodded my head, taking advantage to check my girl out again. She was wearing the shortest skirt I had ever seen her with and it wasn't even that short but it sure as hell was sexy. Tucked inside was a white see-through shirt that let me made out her black bra, only making my little friend down there get excited. She had definitely dressed for the occasion and fitted in this atmosphere perfectly without looking slutty like the rest of the girls around. "Justin." A voice suddenly cheered behind me. I turned around in curiosity to be met with none other than Alejandra. Rolling my eyes I turned back to Tyson, giving her the hint that I was gonna pretend she didn't exist. "Don't ignore me, Justy." She whined and you could tell she had a few drinks on her from how slurry her already annoying voice came out. "Get the fuck out, Alejandra." Tyson yelled at her earning not even a flinch from the girl. She pouted looking up at me. "I just want a dance. I promise I won't try anything." She smiled innocently, battling her long fake eyelashes. I would be lying if I said she didn't look hot in that mini white dress that hugged her prominent curves, leaving nothing to the imagination. She smirked in accomplishment when she caught me checking her out but I wasn't gonna cave in that easily. I stopped caring about other girls when I started dating Selena and even though I can't deny I'm a bit sexually frustrated (don't blame me, I haven't had sex in weeks!) I'm not about to fall into some whore's games. But before I could even mutter a smart remark at her, someone stepped between us. "Can I help you?" Selena said in not the nicest tone, raising her eyebrows as her hands rested on her hips. "Actually I'm talking with Justin, not with you." Alejandra sneered, imitating her position. "Well you're not anymore." Selena replied sarcastically and not cowering away like she would have done a month before. "I see you didn't follow my advice." Alejandra glanced between Sel and me with a look of disgust. "I suggest you follow mine and stay away from my boyfriend if you want to keep your precious bottle-blonde hair by the end of the night." She threatened clearly radiating irony when she said 'precious' but her voice remained menacing and straight, leaving Tyson, Kelsey and me in awe. Giving Alejandra no chance to reply, she turned around and smashed her lips with mine. At first I was taken aback by this new side of Selena I was discovering tonight, but soon I kissed back. From the corner of my eye I saw Alejandra walking away in a hurry, fuming, which made me smirk against the kiss. When we pulled away, we were panting for air as our chests fell and rose rapidly. "That was..." I started. "Unexpected?" She finished with a small smirk. I nodded slowly. Unexpected to say the least. "Give me the five gurl!" Kelsey squealed high-fiving Selena and then gave her a side hug. "That's my girl." She went on with her proud-mother comments making Sel laugh. The both started to dance together and I spotted Kelsey letting Selena take a couple of sips from her drink, which almost made me go and snatch it from her. "Bro, let her live. You're not her father." Tyson sniggered next to me, gulping down a bottle of beer. "I just don't want her to end like the last time." I shouted so he would hear over the deafening volume of the music. "Let her and, who knows, maybe you'll finally get laid tonight." He patted my back as if having sex with your girlfriend because she's shitfaced was something to be looking forward to. "You're sick, man." I grimaced, slapping his hand away, although a few weeks ago I would have thought the same as him. He lifted his palms in defeat. "Whatever dude, but don't tell me you're not needy down there." His eyes lowered to my dick as a snicker left his mouth. I rolled my eyes. Obviously I was "needy down there" but I didn't need him to laugh at me. "Have you and Kelsey got it yet?" I changed the topic of the conversation to him, drinking the remaining contents of my cup before throwing it away. "I think tonight could be the night." He announced, winking at Kelsey from where we were upon what she sent him a flirty wave. "Good luck then, Tyson." I said in a mocking tone, walking pass him to collect Selena and keep her from stealing anymore of Kelsey's drink. I sneaked an arm around her waist, lifting her of the ground to position her body before me. "Hey, I was dancing!" She whined but gripped my arms anyway while giggling. Is it really possible to get this tipsy with just one and a half drinks? "More like you were trying to get all the alcohol in the room." I scoffed, not bothering to hide that I was slightly mad at her for telling me to watch her alcohol and then not listening to me. "Aw c'mon, Jay! The night is young." She slurred, dancing between my arms and managing to make me crack a smile. "Jay?" My eyebrows shot up in amusement. She shrugged, giggling. "Your smile is so beautiful." Her index finger traced my lips while she looked at them like they were mesmerising. "You are beautiful." I whispered, leaning down to capture her lips in a passionate kiss. She smiled against it, kissing me back with more force than she would usually use. It was like we had exchanged cards. She tugged at my neck, walking backwards until her body met the wall, never once detaching our lips. Her hands played with my air (which was a big turn on by the way) while mine caressed her sides. We didn't stop until our lungs burnt from the lack of air and we had to pull away in order to breathe. "We should continue this later, in a more private place." Selena murmured like she had just realised she was making out with me in the middle of a club – although we weren't the only ones – and suddenly felt embarrassed. "You're right." I agreed, lifting off of her so she could straighten her clothes and recompose herself. I offered my hand and she gladly took it, giving it a squeeze as if to signal she wasn't ashamed or anything. I flashed her a smile that she returned before heading to the bar and ordering something for me. "No more drinking for me, right?" Selena looked up at me with big eyes like she was a kid asking for a lollipop. "No more drinking for you." I repeated tapping her small nose, which earned me a roll of her eyes. I grabbed my cup and took a long gulp. Alcohol doesn't have the same effect on me it had before so a couple of drinks don't even make me feel lightheaded. Selena and I returned to the dance floor where we had left Tyson and Kelsey minutes before, only to see them laughing and dancing together. "They're so cute." Selena beamed at the sight. "We are cuter." I stated, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind. "Says the boy who doesn't like being called cute." She chuckled, leaning back on my chest. Bringing all of her hair to one side, I started dropping small kisses on the skin of her neck. Her body tensed and I felt her catch a shaky breath. I kept working on my magic, this time letting my tongue glaze over her heated skin, something I knew drove her crazy. She abruptly turned around. "Don't do that here, Justin." "Why not?" I teased with a smirk on my face, nuzzling my head in the crook of her neck seconds after to keep kissing it. "Jus-tin." Her complaint sounded more like a moan as she gave up on trying to stop me. However, something needed to interrupt the moment. The volume of the music was turned down to let the voice of the DJ be heard. "Sup ma niggas! I hope everyone's having a fucking good time tonight!" He paused for emphasis and I caught Selena frantically looking around her for anyone that could have felt offended in the crowd. Truth is, a black person would only get offended if a white person called him "nigga" with a pejorative meaning but here I've heard my friends say it quite often between them. "The moment you were all waiting for is here." The DJ continued. "Make some room for the dance battle!"

Selena's POV:

People instantly started backing away from the middle of the dance floor to form a big circle. "The rules are there's no rules. The best one wins." He shouted making the crowd cheer in excitement. Tyson and I exchanged complacent looks. Tonight shall be fun. Selena "Where are you going?" Confusion tinted my words as I saw Justin making his way towards the circle people had suddenly made in the middle of the dance floor. "Stay with Kelsey and don't drink." He commanded in a 'dare to defy me' voice, making me gulp. "You're gonna dance?" My eyebrows knotted together. "I'm not only gonna dance. I'm gonna win, baby." He winked, pecking my lips quickly before stretching his limbs out with Tyson like they were both getting ready for an important competition. Kelsey came running to my side squealing. "What the hell?" I screamed when she yanked my arm to drag me to the first row. The noise people were making was unbelievably loud as a handful of "contestants" gathered together and exchanged manly hugs or handshakes. I only recognised Justin, Tyson and – unfortunately – Tyler. Justin sent him a glare full of pure loath and that was the moment I knew he was gonna do anything to win. A hip-hop song started playing and a group of boys began to show off their moves on the dance floor. People clapped their hands and bowed their heads to the rhythm while the guys made complicated steps, taking turns to show what they got. In the first couple of rounds five guys were eliminated, leaving only three finalists. Justin and Tyson were next and they were discussing what they were gonna do while their two opponents did they same. Before their song started, Justin took his black snapback off, shaking his hair in place and dropped it on my head. I pulled it down to adjust it and cheered excitedly. "Wooooo." Once they began to move, I was left speechless at how good Justin was. Is there anything this boy can't do? He made a couple of break-dance steps, making everyone whistle and my mouth hang open. "Damn, your boy can dance." Kelsey pointed, also impressed. Truth be told, Tyson was really good too. I bet they had learnt how to dance together. As expected, they won the round and we girls squealed and hugged each other happily. This party was being far more fun than the other one. After another pair of rounds, I found myself enjoying the dance battle that was taking place before my eyes. Some guys made really amazing pirouettes. When the final round came, there was only Justin, Tyson, Tyler and three other black boys I had never seen before. "Get ready for the final round. The winner will get a free round of shots!" The DJ announced as the crowd went crazy. What a prize, I thought. Justin swiftly sneaked out of the group to come with me. "Why hadn't you told me you could dance? You were amazing!" I chirped, hugging him tightly. "I can do a lot of things...amazingly." He winked down at me. "Pervert." I hissed rolling my eyes upon what he laughed. "Give me a good luck kiss?" Justin puckered his lips out, making an irresistible pout. I giggled. "I don't think you need it but, oh well." I shrugged, bringing the peak of his cap to the back of my head so I could kiss him properly. Before it could grow more heated, I pushed him away, feeling all eyes on us. "Go beat their asses." I said in my best gangster impersonation. Justin reunited with the guys in the middle after chuckling at me. Then, the battle started. If I had been impressed before, I was astonished now. They followed the rhythm of the unknown (to me) song perfectly and it actually looked like a real battle of movements. Justin and Tyson performed some really cool break-dance steps making the crowd go wild and Kelsey and me fangirl at the top of our lungs. Two of the guys I didn't know were eliminated so there was only four left in the game. I learnt the third guy, whose name I was unaware of, was Carter from a girl that was standing next to me and seemed to be his girlfriend by how she was screaming his name. However, suddenly something went wrong because Justin let out a string of curse words, holding onto his ankle. I caught a glimpse of Tyler smirking and immediately knew he had something to do with it. "What the hell? He made him trip purposely!" Kelsey yelled at no one in particular, making me realise exactly what had happened. Nevertheless, nobody had to intervene because in a nanosecond, Justin had Tyler pinned to the floor. The music stopped with the commotion so everyone could hear Justin swearing clearly. "You son of a bitch!" His fist swung at Tyler's face but the guy was determined to fight back. Just when I was finally having a peaceful night with Justin, someone had to make everything go bad. Well screw you, Tyler. The sound of the music was replaced by all the yelling and screaming from people who were taking sides into the fight. When I glanced at Justin again, I gasped because this time Tyler was on top of him and was throwing punches everywhere. Justin managed to dodge a few and hit his rival also but I could already see a bruise forming under his left eye. "Tyson stop them!" Kelsey shouted at her boyfriend when we noticed the fight wasn't just gonna stop. It's times like this you'd wish there was some security around. Tyson and the other guy, Carter, crouched down and pulled them apart, not without difficulty. I had already guessed Justin was a violent person before – seeing as he ended up under arrest for taking part in a fight – but seeing him in action was completely different. I didn't like that side of him. It actually gave me the creeps. It didn't feel like my Justin. Carter held Tyler by his arms, preventing him from launching himself at Justin again. I had to find out why he hated him so much. Meanwhile, Tyson was escorting Justin outside of the building. At first, he had his arms around him to hold him back too but Justin shook them off, storming out of the place and pushing everyone in the way. "I guess we don't have a winner today..." The DJ announced awkwardly through the speakers. The big room was silent until someone spoke up. "Who the fuck cares, dude?!" I snapped out of my shock and ran after Justin, using the trail he had created when storming out. Once outside, I felt a pang of pain as the freezing night air hit me like a wave. I shivered and looked both sides, only to find Justin leaning against the brick wall on the right, Tyson opposite of him mouthing something that, for the looks of it, wasn't affecting Justin in the slightest. I ran towards them, feeling the coldness cut my skin like a knife. I took the snapback off and gave it to Tyson, not knowing what else to do with it. It didn't seem appropriate for the situation. "Justin." I said quietly, unsure of how he would react. He refused to look at me, his eyes focused on a point far in the other direction, his jaw taut. I glanced confusedly at Tyson, earning a shrug from him. "He hasn't talked to me either." Justin ignored everything we were saying like we weren't talking about him. "Are you okay, Justin?" Kelsey's concerned voice was heard accompanied by the clicking of high-heels against the pavement. "Do I look fucking okay?" Justin snapped, finally turning his gaze towards us. Kelsey flinched at his outburst and I just called his name again in disbelief. "Justin." He simply gave me a hard stare. "Don't fucking talk to my girl like that, bro." Tyson hissed through gritted teeth and I understood him completely. Kelsey mouthed a 'don't worry about it' before getting into his boyfriend's embrace. And what happened with me? Where was my sweet, caring boyfriend when I needed him? I almost felt the urge to cry (alcohol makes you very emotional, I've come to know). "Whatever." Justin rolled his eyes, wincing due to the bruise under his left one. I noticed another bruise forming on his jaw. It was smaller but it was joined by a cut. Thankfully, it wasn't too deep and blood wasn't gushing out like last time. People had started coming out of the club and gathering in the street around several cars. I guess the fun was over for tonight. Without uttering another word, Justin pulled his pack of Malboro out of his pocket and took a cigarette between his lips, lighting it up and taking a long puff of it.

Tyson shook his head and began to walk Kelsey to the group where Sam, Mike and the rest were. "You coming?" I shook my head and hugged myself, deciding to give Justin a chance to calm down so we could talk. "If you're not gonna stop smoking, I'm gonna start doing it too." I casually said, leaning on the wall next to him. His cold eyes abruptly turned to look at me. "You're not smoking." He declared sternly. "Guess that's my choice." I shrugged, giving him an attitude that would most likely piss him off even more instead of relaxing him. Justin blew out perfect rings of smoke (I must admit I find that cool), sighing afterwards. "Why aren't you scared of me?" He finally questioned, much softly this time. "Why would I?" I frowned. "You basically saw me beating the living crap out of that scum bag." He looked down, kicking small pebbles with the sole of his shoe. "Look Justin, I'm not gonna lie and say I like it when you become so...violent but he provoked you so I think I would have done the same." A long sigh escaped Justin's lips. "Aren't you cold?" "Freezing." I confessed, rubbing my arms to create some type of friction. "Come here." He opened his arms, throwing the butt of the cigarette to the floor. I slowly crawled between them, grateful for the human heat Justin gave off. "I'm sorry for being a dick." He murmured in the crook of my neck. "Again." I managed a giggle. "I forgive you." "I keep breaking my promises." He exhaled deeply, pulling away from our improvised embrace. At that I bit my lip not knowing what to say. It was true but I didn't want him to feel even worse so I just remained silent. That probably didn't help much either. Justin ran his hands through his hair, out of frustration I think. "C'mon," I said taking his hand in mine. "let's go with the rest." He gave me a hesitant look but I made him come with me anyway. Once we arrived there, everyone shut up. Talk about awkward. "Can you give me the car keys so I can get my jacket?" I asked softly. Justin nodded and gave me the keys, strolling with his hands in his pockets to where Kelsey was, still between the arms of Tyson. "Sorry about before." I heard him mumble, making a satisfied smile settle on my face. Opening the back door of the car, I got both mine and Justin's jacket, locking the vehicle afterwards. "Don't worry about it." Kelsey gave him a small reassuring smile. One of the best things about my best-friend is that she isn't resentful. I walked back to Justin with a grin plastered on my face because of what I had just witnessed – I knew how hard it was for Justin to apologise – and because I finally had some clothing on to shield me from the cold. I zipped my perfecto up to my neck, handing Justin his own leather jacket. He put it on and, immediately after, let me nest between his legs and arms, wrapping his strong arms around me. I felt good in his embrace, I felt protected; like nothing bad could happen as long as Justin was next to me. People had returned to their normal conversations, some of them already leaving to their houses since the club was closing earlier today. My eyes scanned the group of people around us and noticed there were two people missing. Mike and Sam. I spotted them in a corner and, by the looks of it, they were arguing. I frowned. "What's wrong baby?" Justin whispered in my ear, sensing my concern. "Nothing." I shook my head slightly. I could tell he wasn't happy with my answer but he didn't push it further. I would tell him later maybe, after I talked with Sam or perhaps, Mike had already told him about it since they're friends. After a few minutes of harmless chatting with Will, he had to leave because he was only 17 and his mother wanted him home by 2 am. Well he was already late since it was currently almost 3 am. The boys mocked him, something they always did because he was the youngest one and I felt bad for him. However, I knew they would stick up for him if needed. "Bye, Selena. I hope to see you again soon." He gave a wave and a smile. How cute. "Bye Will." I waved back, feeling Justin's arms tense around me as he sent daggers at Will. "He's lucky he's like my little brother or I would have smacked that smile off his face by now." Justin hissed, half-jokingly. "Someone is jealous." I sang sinking deeper into his arms when I saw from the corner of my eye something that made my eyebrows furrow. Sam was in the same corner she had been talking with Mike before but now she was alone, her face buried in her hands. "I'm gonna see what's wrong with Sam." I murmured distractedly, unwrapping Justin's arms from around me. On my way there, I passed Mike who didn't acknowledge my presence but instead kept walking away from Sameera. I knew he wasn't a very talkative person but, jeez, a simple 'hey' wouldn't hurt. "Hey Sam, are you alright?" I asked once I had reached her side. She quickly wiped away some tears that had escaped her eyelids. "Yeah, I'm fine." She sniffed, offering a fake smile that I could see pass. "Why are you crying then?" I pushed gently, rubbing her arm for some comfort. "It's nothing really. Mike and I just had an argument." She shook her head, sadness evident in her eyes. "Well, if you ever wanna talk about it, I'm here." I sent her a reassuring smile, squeezing her shoulder. "Thanks." It seemed like there was nothing else I could do to make her feel better, she wouldn't let me help but I can't blame her. I mean, we're not like super best friends. "Alejandra told me about what you said to her before." Sam suddenly looked up at me with a trace of amusement on her face. "Did she?" I chuckled, placing a strand of my hair behind my ear. "I must admit you have a pair." She laughed. "I shouldn't be telling you this because she's my friend but I already told her to let you be and assume Justin's into you and not her." "It would be much easier if she would stop bothering me to be honest but I kind of understand her." I paused, thinking if I really meant what I had said. "She's got every right to hate you, Selena." The harshness and sincerity of her words hit me like a ton of bricks. "Put yourself in her place. A white, rich girl suddenly comes and makes the boy she's been in love with for only God knows how long began to fall head over heels for her. You don't know what Alejandra has done to get Justin to see her as more than a good fuck. So forgive her if she hates you for achieving what she's always wanted without even trying." By the end of her little speech, my mouth was open in bewilderment. "But that's not my fault. As you said, I didn't try for it to happen." "But she can't see that." Sam shrugged. "She's only seeing how much Justin has changed because of you in a matter of what, two months? Before you came, there was no one and I mean no one that could calm Justin down after a fight and you just saw what happened tonight. Honestly, I don't know how you do it but please, don't hurt Justin. He's my friend too and he's gone through a lot during his life, he deserves to be happy." "I'm not planning on hurting him." I claimed quickly, almost offended that she would think that. "I would never do anything to hurt him. If he isn't happy, then I'm not happy." "Do you love him?" She inquired out of the blue. Why is everybody asking me that today?! "I-I don't know yet." I stammered, making Sam laugh whole-heartedly. "I hope you find out soon because if you're waiting for him to say it first..." She trailed off. "I've only heard him say 'I love you' to his family and rarely." I didn't know what to say to that so I was thankful when I heard sirens interrupting us. Wait, sirens. "Shit." Sam cussed, taking my arm and jogging as fast as she could to the group, dragging me with her. People were dispersing in all directions and I was confused as to why. Then it clicked in. Sirens. That could only mean one thing: the police was here. "Go with Justin, quickly!" Sam urged me, running to Mike's car and getting inside at lightning speed. I tried to run as fast as my heels let me, catching a small glimpse of Alejandra jumping on a boy's motorbike. "What's going on Justin?" The alarm was evident in my voice as I frantically searched for Kelsey. My things were in her car. "Get in the car." He ordered, opening the door of the passenger's seat for me, his tone dull. I climbed in fast and buckled my seatbelt, breathing rapidly while he slammed the door shut and run to the driver's side. "Hold on tight." Justin instructed, bringing the engine to life so the car sped off down the street. "Justin, what's going on?" I questioned again, holding onto the dashboard for dear life. I'm sure we had surpassed the speed limit by far and I could thank God that Justin was a good driver. "Someone must have called the police after the scene at the club." He explained and it all made sense. "Damn it, we should have left before." His grip around the steering wheel tightened, making his knuckles go white from the pressure. "Do you see any cars following us?" I looked in the rearview mirror and even turned around in my seat, seeing only the empty street behind us. "No, I don't think so." Relief swept through me somehow. "No, wait, I see blue and red lights but they're far." I panicked again, the relief disappearing. "Fuck." He made a sharp turn to the right, his body still tensed and he didn't slow down. "Do you need to go home?" Justin's eyes darted momentarily to me. "No, I told my mom I'd sleep at Kelsey's." I explained, surprised that my vocal chords hadn't failed me. "But it was a lie." "Where were you planning to sleep then?" He arched an eyebrow, somehow seeing something funny in the situation. I opened my mouth to speak but I realised I had no answer. "I hadn't thought about it." I eventually admitted. "You can always crash at my place." Justin offered, extending his right hand to give my knee a squeeze. I smiled at the gesture. I wouldn't mind cuddling with Justin again. "Do you still see the cops?" His hand returned to the steering wheel, his foot pushing further down the pedal to accelerate, crossing a red light. "No, I think we lost them." I breathed out, my heart beating rapidly because of the adrenaline pump. "Good." He visibly relaxed, slowing down and turning to the left, this time waiting for the light to turn green. He turned in his seat to face me. "Are you okay?" Worry tinted his caramel eyes, which were glistening under the dim light coming from the few street-lamps. "Yeah, just..." I struggled to find a suitable word. "Shocked, I guess." "Well, everything's over now. You don't have to worry." "I had never had to flee from the police." I spoke the words more to myself than to Justin, trying to wake up from the shock I was in. Another thing to add to my list of reckless stuff I've done thanks to my badass boyfriend. Justin ignored my statement, flicking his tongue across his lips as he started to drive again, this time at a legal speed. "Can you hand me the pack of cigarettes that's in the glove compartment?" I gave him a bewildered stare. "No." "I need it, Selena." He continued trying his best to be patient with me, although I could already see the vein in his neck popping out. "You're not gonna smoke while I can avoid it." I stated, ignoring how sexy that vein made Justin look. "And what do you suggest I do to calm down because I fucking need it." He spat, clenching his jaw. Before you ask, no, I'm not purposely trying to get him worked up just for the hell of it (or because I found him really sexy when he's mad). No, I'm trying to help him stop this bad habit. "I can think of some ways to help you relax..." I suggested, playing with my hair in an attempt to sound seductive. "If you can wait 'til we get home." Justin's Adam apple moved as he gulped down, blinking a few times before focusing solely on the road ahead. I smirked in victory, leaning against my seat until we arrived at our destination. The rest of the ride, which was merely five minutes, was silent. I only realised we were there when the car came to a halt and Justin got out, strolling around the car to open my door. "Thank you." I smiled up at him, getting out of the car and taking his hand in mine. My feet were killing me and the effect of the alcohol I had previously consumed was still present clouding my mind a little. Otherwise, I wouldn't have made that comment in the car, it was so unlike me. "Wait, I'm gonna take my heels off." I declared at the expectative of climbing six floors of stairs on them. I hung them from my fingers and interlaced my other hand with Justin's. The floor of the stairs was cold but I shrugged it off. "I hate that you don't have an elevator, seriously." "You left that clear last time." Justin sniggered, supporting part of my weight so I wouldn't get so tired of going up. "I don't even wanna remember what I said that night." I shuddered at the memory of me sitting down on this floor and saying nonsense. "Oh but you said some interesting things." Justin kept mocking me. I stopped in the middle of the stairs and crossed my arms on my chest. "Like what?" "Hmm, let me think." He rubbed his chin with his fingers in a thoughtful attitude. "You said I was gorgeous," he took a step closer to me. "sexy," He took another step. "and that you loved it when I called you Princess." By now I was cornered against the railing of the stairs, my breath hitching in my throat from his proximity. His golden irises bored into mine, his lips alluring me to kiss him. I tentatively stood on my tiptoes and parted my lips, my eyes closing waiting for his lips to meet me halfway. However, that never happened as all I heard was a deep chuckle coming from his mouth. My eyes popped open. "You should have seen your face. You looked like a little fish." His dimple showed from how hard he was grinning. I scowled embarrassed and pushed him to keep flying up the stairs. I heard his laughing trailing behind me as I rested against his door waiting for him to open it. Congratulations, you just made a fool of yourself Selena. Once he reached me, I sent him the dirtiest glare as if daring him to mock me about the incident. Justin tried to keep himself from laughing as he introduced the key in the slot and the door creaked open. He let me in first, closing the heavy door behind him. The house was pitch black until Justin switched the light on. "There's no one home, don't worry about being noisy." He winked at me, taking his jacket off and hanging it from the rack. I did the same, placing my shoes on the floor. "Where are they?" "I have no idea." Justin's shoulders shrugged, poking his bottom lip out cutely. I couldn't stifle a giggle. "So your family leaves you alone for one night and you don't bother asking where they are going?" "Why would I care? As long as I have the house to myself..." He looked at me as if I had three heads, swaggering to his room. I followed behind, yawning, only then did I notice how tired I was. When I entered the room, Justin was taking his t-shirt off, giving me a good view of his broad back. I bit my lip. Does alcohol make you horny as well? "Take a picture, it'll last longer." He saw me through the mirror, sending me his infamous smirk. I blushed scarlet, hiding my face with my hair. Justin chuckled at my shyness. "Do you want some clothes?" "Please." I said, taking my hoops out of my ears and the bobby pins from my hair so my bangs fell. I was running my hands through it to disentangle the knots when something caught my attention. Justin had taken his pants off and was facing me half-naked. My hands flew to my face, covering my eyes. "What are you doing?" I exclaimed. "Getting comfy." He said like it was the most common thing ever to strip in front of someone else, especially of the opposite gender. "Wouldn't you be more comfy in clothes?" I heard shuffling and Justin sigh. "You can look now, I put on some pants." I separated my fingers and could see the dark blue sweats he was wearing though the slots. "Thank you." I decided it was no use asking him to wear a t-shirt. Not that I minded seeing his sexy abs anyway. Justin rolled his eyes playfully. "You can wear these." He handed me a pair of purple basketball shorts and a black short-sleeved t-shirt. "Are you gonna stand there while I change?" I motioned at him with my hand. "Do I really have to answer that question?" He looked at me knowingly, portraying a teasing smirk. This time it was my turn to roll my eyes. "I'll be in the kitchen." Justin whined, giving up. I smiled contently and once I was sure he couldn't see me, I started to change. To say the clothes were big on me would be an understatement. The shorts that were supposed to reach above my knee, hung underneath it and the t-shirt suited me like a dress. In other words, I looked hilariously hideous. I left my party clothes on the desk chair and made my way to the kitchen. Sticking my head around the door frame, I spotted Justin chugging down a can of bear. Really? At almost 4 in the morning? He noticed me and looked up from his phone, leaving it on the table. "Hey." "Hey." I replied, still hiding behind the wall. "Um are you coming in or?" Justin's expression was one of amusement and confusion mixed together. "You're gonna laugh at me." "I won't." Trusting that promise was like trusting a child that said his dog had eaten his homework. Justin always ended up making fun of me. But since I didn't have a choice, I stepped inside the kitchen. Justin blinked a couple of times but to my surprise didn't laugh. "Why was I gonna laugh again?" "Because I look horrible?" I gestured to my appearance. "I would say you look more like sexy." He winked, dropping the beer can in the trash to approach me. Only this time I wasn't gonna fall for it like I had on the stairs. "Very sexy." He rasped, making a chill run down my spine. I glanced up into his eyes to find him already staring at me. "What?" My lips formed a lopsided smile. "Nothing. I'm just waiting for you to show me how you were gonna help me relax." He purred, licking his lips seductively and making my heart skip a beat in the process. "Oh." I suspired. I didn't feel so confident now I had him in front of me, intoxicating me with his sexiness. "Can you give me food first? I'm hungry." Justin's expression instantly changed to one of disappointment, although he tried to mask it as well as he could. "Sure, what do you want?" He asked bored,, while I hopped on top of the countertop. "Do you have cookies?" My conscience was scolding me. You can get the poor boy's hopes up and then don't do anything! It's not like you have to have sex yet. She was right. I had to yield a little. I had to do something to make him feel better and it was easier to do it under the small influence of alcohol. My head wasn't buzzing or anything but I still felt a little light and Justin was giving up so much for me, I had to make an effort too. Plus, Kelsey's words lingered on my mind. "From my experience, I would recommend you not to stop Justin when he wants to go further next time. You're gonna love it." "You know what? Forget about the cookies, I can satisfy my hunger other ways." Justin's head snapped to me as we both looked at each other equally taken aback by what I had just said. My cheeks turned a deep shade of red but I kept my rare act of confidence up. "You coming or?" Justin closed the small space between the drawers he was searching the cookies in and the counter where I was sitting. He stood between my legs like the day we had been making the cake for Jaxon, only today there would be no interruptions. Never taking his eyes off mine, he slid his hands up my thighs, then my waist and my arms to end up cupping my face. "You know you don't have to do anything you don't want to do, right?" He asked me softly but deadly serious. "I know, just kiss me." I whispered back, feeling like a whole fire was setting up inside of me, burning every inch of skin including my organs and bones. An urgent need to have him close to me craving at my insides. Justin slowly leant down, brushing his soft lips against mine. The simple gesture sent goose bumps all over my body, causing my hand to hold the nape of his neck to force our lips together. Catching the hint, Justin added more pressure into the kiss, massaging his lips with mine, causing bolts of electricity to curse through our bodies. His hands travelled down to hold my waist, caressing the skin through the cotton material of the t-shirt. I pushed myself closer to him, taking the initiative of slipping my tongue inside his mouth for the first time ever. He gladly let me in, battling with my tongue for dominance. His hands lowered down to my butt, giving it a squeeze that made me gasp. Desire was growing stronger inside me, willing me to be as close to Justin as humanly possible. I tilted my head more to the side, allowing our chests to press together. Justin's fingers slid down my thighs, making me wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his bare neck. Unlike the other times, when I would have stopped Justin by now, I didn't. I let him lift me up and carry me to his bedroom, momentarily breaking the kiss to suck on my neck. A moan escaped my mouth, earning a throaty groan from Justin that only made the muscles of my belly contract even more. Justin kicked the door of his room shut and carried me to the bed, gently laying me down on the red duvet to hover over me. The second our eyes met, I only saw lust, pure desire swirling inside the pools of caramel of his eyes and I was sure mine looked the same. Attaching our lips again, I let my hands roam down Justin's back, feeling his hot muscular flesh. His perfect lips attacked my neck again. I was starting to feel wetness around my lower area, something I had never felt before. Right when I was gonna let out a loud moan, my phone ringtone went off. Perfect timing. Please, note my sarcasm.
