"Calm down Keith his phone is just probably doing weird stuff," Shiro said trying to calm down a panicked Kogane pacing around the living room. "He should be here by now!"

Keith looked away while biting his lip and suddently his door bused open. "Look who needs to grow socia-"IT'S LANCE HE WAS IN A CAR CRASH!" Pidge yelled cutting Shiro off. Grabbing both her friends Pidge got into the old van and Matt began driving. "He was in a what?!-"He's at the hospital right now. Hunk is already there." Pidge cut Keith off looking at Shiro. "Okay everyone calm down, he's probably fine-"He hasn't woken up in a week now and he has a fractured leg and arm" not fine.." Shiro looked over at Keith who was biting his nails.

"Hey, Keith-" Shiro's hand was pushed away as Keith slapped it back as tears ran down his face."This is my fault." Keith spoke in a trembling voice as he held his head in his hands. "Everythings gonna be fine I'm sure Keith."

The doctor said holding a clipboard in his hand with Lance's test results. "He has an Intellectual disability and also will not be able to use his left arm anytime soon."

"Intellectual disability?" Keith asked as he stared at his lover's sleeping body. He had bandages wrapped around his head and his leg was supported in a large cast along with his unusable arm.

Shiro was arguing with Pidge now while Hunk was asking the Doctor a million questions.

A loud sob erupted and the room went quite.

Keith held Lance's free hand and cried in his chest.

Everyone left him to be with Lance except Shiro who couldn't bring himself to leave the poor boy.
