He remembers how he got the scars; like it was just yesterday. The scorching heat and fire dancing, surrounding him. He still can feel the fire burning his skin.

He managed to escape the burning house, only to faint not far. After he woke up in full bandages, he ran away. He would rather not be put to adoption; one abusive family was enough, and he would rather not be questioned by the police.

The next day, news of a boy who survived the fire escaping the hospital was spread. He also found a newspaper five days ago. It was about a couple dying in a burning house. He didn't read the details; he only needs to read the headlines and the pictures. Tragedy, the reporter said. A successful plan, he thought.

Five years didn't fly fast, he was still beaten and starved like before but that doesn't stop him from living. He will fight, run, steal, and take life to survive

When he was 20, he bought a Halloween mask to cover the burn marks on his face. He hated the faces people showed him whenever they saw his face. Even his best friend, Luke, took a while before he stopped giving him sympathize looks. Even now, he knows his friend felt guilty for not being able to help him in the past; before the fire. He didn't need it so he picked up a mask based on his favourite horror movie and strike fear on the people he laid his eyes on.

Another five years flew faster. He knows what to do and who to avoid. If only friends were included in his to-avoid-radar.

When he was 25, he met Evan and his life started spiralling after that.

He starts applying makeup to hide his scars under his mask when his circle got bigger. He didn't want them to accidentally saw his face. He starts feeling... self-conscious. He didn't want to see those kinds of expressions towards him ever again. That's why he still wore his mask in their new hideout despite his friend's nosing.

I found this in my file and decided to post this unfinished draft. My headcanon for 2p Delirious is that he's selective mute because his throat hurts whenever he eats or speaks for not having proper treatment. He also wears his hockey mask and skin-colored makeup to hide his burns unlike original Delirious who wears clown makeup and mask to hide his identity or for fun.
