EXTENDED SUMMARY. . . .

crystal perez was different than the rest of her family. she always wanted to be in the fashion industry while her family were either lawyers, doctors/nurses or teachers and none of those sounded fun or interesting to her.

she didn't get along with her parents that well because of not wanting to be one of those three things. her parents were strict with her and often said she wouldn't make it far, but she ignored them and followed her dreams which ended up with her being kicked out at 18.

so she moved to central city never wanting to go back to her parents because she didn't want to give them the satisfaction of her failure. she knew that her coming back was her saying she failed and she wasn't going to give up. after calling her aunt and uncle telling them what happened. she was always more close with them than her parents and they were more than happy to take her in even though they already had a child of their own.

her aunt valerie is the owner of a fashion industry that's in central city. so after going to college for a fashion degree she then started working with her aunt in the industry called fierce fashion because valerie's name means fierce. even though crystal hasn't seen her parents ever since she was kicked out she couldn't help but miss them.

she was at the fierce fashion building when the particle accelerator exploded and she had no idea how much that explosion would change her life.
