V.III - Neko~sama

"Do something!" Meredy shouted, her cheeks pale with concern, as she watched the duo grow paler. Something was flitting in the air, emitting a silvery glow as it flew from Erza to Jellal's head and back.

    Erik was watching by calmly, as the remaining members of Crime Sorcière filed into the room; Sawyer, Macbeth, and Richard were all wearing the same face of uncertainty, as their Guild Master lay collapsed on the floor.

    "Calm down, Meredy," Macbeth said, his face returning to the placid stance it usually was, "He'll be fine. Ultear probably created a spell linking their souls together or something."

    Meredy rolled her eyes, "Jellal would like that."

    "No I wouldn't," Jellal replied, long cyan locks streaming past his shoulders in an elegant waterfall, "Why- Why's my chest so heavy?"

    A chuckle escaped Erik's lips as he stared down at his Guild Master, who was now shorter than him, "Why're you so tall?!" he screeched, reeling away from Erza, whose hair had begun to shrink back into her scalp.

    "Oh, my-" Meredy put up a hand to her mouth, concealing a giggle. Jellal was just a little taller than herself and seemed unusually feminine. Voluptuous curves had come where there used to be hard muscle.

    "Kami, I love Ultear." Macbeth muttered, a grin playing on his pale lips, "Jellal the cocky male, has changed to a female."

    "He what?" Erza's mouth lolled open, as she scratched her head. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she got up, "Why are you so short, Meredy?"

    "Excuse me?!" Meredy fumed, her pale-ruby eyes shooting daggers at the ex-Requip Mage. Her Scarlet Hair now resembled Jellal's old hair; spiky and unruly, with a cute fringe falling on her forehead.

    She circled everyone, not looking at Jellal, "Actually, why is everyone so short?!"

    "Can I hit her?" Macbeth spoke up, crossing his arms, "Like, I know she's strong and badass as heck, but-"

    "Shhh~" Erik interrupted, the grin widened to a smirk, "I'm sensing some... unholy thoughts in her mind."

    "What's she thinking about, right now?" Meredy asked, raising an eyebrow as she drew her cloak tighter around her shoulders.

    "Jellal" Erik responded thoughtfully, "And how hot he looks, as a woman."

    "This is great!" Meredy squealed, clapping her hands briefly, "Now I can help Erza seduce- I, Uh- be friends with Jellal!"

    "Not great, actually," Erik sounded gloomy as he skulked out of the room, "I always have a headache when those two lovebirds are around each other. It's only going to get worse, now."

    Meredy waved aside his comment and watched as Macbeth, Richard and Sawyer followed Erik out. The couple was still frozen in front of her, watching each other with astonished faces.

    "What are- Why's my shirt so tight?" Jellal repeated, putting up a hand to his now-plump chest. Erza averted her eyes, trying to ignore a burning excitement that had begun to rise in her lower belly.

    "Jellal, stop." Meredy rolled her eyes, "You're literally- God, you kid." Meredy pulled Jellal's hands away from himself, before flashing a look at Erza. It only made Erza's blush darken.

    "Accept it, you're a 'she' now," She patted Jellal's back, as he puffed exasperatedly.

    "Was there anything else written on that label, Erza?" Jellal asked, tucking his cerulean hair behind his ears, "Anything about... this?"

    Erza grinned sheepishly, before kneeling to the place where the empty flask was. She flipped the paper note, and read out the rest of Ultear's message, "Don't show this to Jellal, he'll chicken out: The effects should worsen by the hour. Also, you guys might want to exchange spells or something... Love, the Ultimate Milk Sandwich."

    "She didn't say how to undo it!" Meredy commented drily, before chuckling, "That's great!"

    "I guess so," Erza huffed, before adjusting her clothes. Her white top and skirt seemed out of place, as muscles bulged under the buttons. She raised an eyebrow, "Gender stereotyping, much?"

    Meredy snorted, "You probably have abs just 'coz Jellal does- did," she gazed at the poor ex-Heavenly Body Magic mage, "That's why his bosom is so big too-"

    "Sh-Shut up," Erza replied, before kneeling next to Jellal. The green-eyed girl flinched slightly, before gazing at Erza delicately, "We- We might need to switch clothes, Jellal," Erza asked, voice quivering.

    "Y-Yes," he sighed, "This is awkward."

    "Very."

~~~
    "How'd you live like this?!" Jellal asked incredulously as he fingered the straps of the swim-top Erza had handed him, "It hurts!"
    Erza ignored the lack of clothing on Jellal. She helped explain the process of requiping things on, and watched as Jellal requiped her usual blouse, skirt and boots on, which were a tad bit sandy, from being ditched on the shore, "This isn't even a proper bra, Jellal. Stop being such a child."
    "This is so fun!" Meredy ignored Jellal's wails, and jumped at Erza, who was warily looking at her, "I can finally talk to Jellal about girl problems-"
    "-Absolutely not." Jellal rolled his eyes, "You should head back to your Guild, Erza. Wendy might know what to do, or Porlyusica."
    "R-Right," Erza couldn't help but feel slightly hurt. Jellal was pushing her, now a male, away, once again.
    "Ba-Bye, Jellina," Erza mumbled under her breath, a cheeky grin twitching onto her lips.
    The bluenette turned around - an eyebrow arched in regalement, "Did you jus-"
    Erza left him no chance to speak as she hurried out and away from him, a smile still lingering on her lips. After collecting her luggage, signing out of the hotel and taking a train to Magnolia did only the consequences of the events that had happened sink into her brain.
    Squeamishly, scarlet head mage trudged away and wavered by a tree, looking out at people shopping and going by.
    What would the guild members think? What could she even say to them?
    Erza gnawed her lip a little and rested her forehead onto the unsmooth bark - recalling what she had become. She hadn't been a perfect girly-girl, even as a girl, but that never meant she wasn't in touch with her femininity.
    Being a man, she wasn't the worst looking one out there. Nevertheless, she felt sheepish in this state. Muscles protruding from her biceps and her chest felt a startling lightness to it.
    Taking a deep breath, she confidently strolled her way back to the guild. There were gasps are murmurs around her, as she went up the bar, where Mira was and ordered a Strawberry Cake.
    Mirajane stared back, eyes wide before she headed back into the pantry and brought out a fresh slice - she had been baking a couple of minutes before, and Erza's timing had been great. The take-over mage stared back, as Erza dug into the cake, not bothering to be clean, "E-Erza? What happened?"
    "You're hot," a dry voice came from behind her, amusement clear, "Even as a guy - why is life so unfair?!"
    Erza downed the last mouthfuls of the slice and turned around meeting Lucy's face. In the girl's eyes pity, amusement and awe all sparkled like a river rushing around behind her irises. She rolled her eyes, smoothing a hand over her short hair, "Yes, Lucy. Being 'hot' is all that matters in life."
    "Sh-Shut up," Lucy good-naturedly shot back, grinning. Natsu and Happy came into the Guild, with a cart-load of fish. They hadn't noticed Erza yet. "O-Of course being smart and strong and awesome and good and kind-"
    "That's enough, Lucy," Mira smiled, breaking into the conversation, "I think we should instead be asking about," Mira's voice was suddenly deathly-sweet, "why she's wearing Jellal's clothes."
    Erza tensed, flicking her fringe lightly so they wouldn't notice the heavy blush rising up her neck, "I, uh, I- Got it at Carrefour!"
    "For sure," Mira grinned, nodding enthusiastically, as Lucy giggled, "I'm pretty sure fugitives don't shop at Malls, Sis. Plus..." she exchanged a glance with Lucy.
    "Clothes don't just get on other people, without them being taken off first," Lucy said hysterically, her face and ears cherry-red as she high-fived Mirajane. Erza ducked her head, groaning softly for them to shut up.
    "Lucy, is that Jellal there? Did he- Hi, Jellal, m'boy!" A hand clamped around Erza's shoulders, she tensed, "You dyed your hair! Is it in the name of your 'fiancée?"
    "What is it with everyone- It's me, gramps!" Erza burst out, outraged getting up and swishing the blue cloak fastened around her neck, "Honestly-"
    "Erza?!" Gray and Natsu approached her, their eyes glowing, "Oh, wow. You're a guy now, and you're taller than Gray."
    "I don't think that's something to celebrate, Natsu. She can still kick your butt- or he."
    "Did you just assume Erza's gender, Ice Princess?!"
    "No - I- Shut up Flame breath!"
    "You shouldn't assume genders, Fullbuster!"
    "I know that Dragneel, shut up-!"
    "-Fight me, Jellal!"
    "Huh?" Lucy turned her head, facing the mahogany door of the Guild. Two cloaked figures were standing there, abruptly the center of Fairy Tail's attention.
    "We might have a problem, Master Makarov," The taller of the two cloaked figures approached the gang that had gathered at the bar table. They let the hood fall, showing Jellal's face, and long blue hair. His eyes were more delicate, jaw slightly softer.
    "You have a chest," Natsu commented, eyes darting up and down Jellal's body. The onyx eyed mage glowered back, mouth gawping. Erza rolled her eyes and slapped Natsu.
    "Stop being a pervert."
    Meredy grinned, and hugged Juvia, "Hi, guys! It's been ages, you should visit more often! How about we get some coffee, and maybe a muffin-"
    "Meredy!"
    "Right, right," she shifted and winked at Erza, who was getting up to leave. She didn't want to be turned away another time, today; she didn't think she could take it, especially since it was J-Jellal.
    "Erza, wait," Mirajane stopped her, escorting her away from the pair, who had begun a discussion with Makarov, trying to think of ways to nullify the spell. Lucy, Gray, Happy and Natsu were listening keenly, giving small suggestion in between pauses.
    "Look, Erza, I know you're getting hurt. But-" Mira bit her lip, thinking of what to say, "Let's just say, I'm going to help you and Jellal get married."
    "'Bit too far, Mira,"
    "Ok, whatever. I'll call you when everything's done - go and do something in your apartment till then, and hush!"
    Erza cast one last suspicious glance at Mira, and rolled her eyes, heading towards Fairy Hills. She wasn't sure if she was still technically 'allowed' there, for the moment, but she didn't care.
    Her heart was aching for Jellal, being so close to him, and the scorching sensation was still getting stronger as her thoughts strayed downtown.
    Mira, please don't go overboard.
