This just say that they are now almost near the island as the flames just indicates that Midway was infront of them.

But Sakura Empire has yet to arrive which jus give them some time to prepare.

A huge battle will occur in the next few hours and Azur Lane will be ready for the arrival of Sakura Empire.

A few kilometers away from Midway we could see the Sakura Empire fleet heading towards Midway at cruising speed.

Almost half of Sakura Empire strongest ship were brought towards the island.

Particularly in one of the ships that was coming was Ayanami.

Although she thought if this war with Azur Lane was even a good idea to begin with.

Not to mention on how Akagi mannage to acquire this production model ships is a mystery to her.

It is quite confusing to say the least at it has been constantly annoying her for the last few days now.

The Sirens production model ships how did Akagi acquire it and where in the blazing hell did she even got this black mental cube.

It completely doesn't make any sense at all she just feel like they are being trick by Akagi.

The way she act is very suspicious to say the least but she couldn't do anything about it after all she is only a mere destroyer.

And she wouldn't  even stand a chance against Akagi if she ever dare to oppose the carrier.

Sometimes she wonders if Akagi has gone insane them crossing Midway is a complete suicide.

The active volcano on that islands spew huge fireball that could litteraly kill them if the get any close to the island.

She could only sigh at this and look at the others.

Yukikaze: Yahoo we are going to finally going to battle.

Yukikaze said with a cheerful expression on her face while sitting on one of the ships turret.

The three other Destroyers that were behind her were excited if going into battle.

But only if they knew what there going to face against they would have run away from just seeing the 2nd fleet of Azur Lane.

Ayanami frowned at the thought of facing Javelin and Laffey.

The two were very close friends with each other and they wouldn't even fight her.

Even if they were enemies they wouldn't want to fight her.

Which confuse her at first but soon learned what the feeling of having a friend is.

And the thought of one of your best friends being becoming an enemy is quite horrible to experience.

One could possibly say they would hesitate to even scratch her.

Considering that the two seen her more of a friend than an enemy.

Shigure:are you alright Ayanami?

Shigure asked from behind her as Ayanami turns around to look at Shigure.

Ayanami: yes I am fine.

Ayanami said as she turns around and look back a the horizon.

Shigure: are you sure about that you seem to be having trouble on something?

Shigure asked with a questioning look on her face as she walks towards Ayanami and stands besides the girl.

Ayanami: yes I am sure about that Shigure.

Ayanami said as Shigure frown at this lately she has notice Ayanami strange behavior since they have left there base.

But she just shrug it off thinking Ayanami is must be just excited on being able to go to battle again.

However now it is different she has been acting more strangely than ever.

Just from the expression she is currently showing one could say that she is thinking of something that must be troubling her.

Shigure:I highly doubt that Ayanami you have been gloomy for a while now.

Shigure said as she looks at Ayanami with a worried expression on her face.

Ayanami: it's nothing really.

Ayanami said but this made Shigure frown even more as she steps towards Ayanami and turn the girl to look at her.

Shigure:I know that something is bothering you Ayanami I could see it in you eyes.

Shigure said while looking at Ayanami with a worried look as she then let's go of Ayanami.

Shigure:it as if something tells me that you are planning something

Shigure said as she look at Ayanami with a suspicious look on her face while narrowing her eyes and look to Ayanami.

Who for some reason starts sweating a bit but Shigure couldn't notice it.

Just by hearing those words made Ayanami flinch but soon turn back to normal.

She couldn't get herself find out about her plan if they do they would call her as a traitor to there Faction.

She jus feel that fighting Azur Lane is wrong shouldn't the Sirens be the enemy that the should be fighting.

There like cat and mouse chasing one after the other and yet it feels like they are the mouse and Azur Lane is more like a Nuclear time bomb that is connected to string that had a cheese in it and once the mouse try to take the cheese away all will go boom and the mouse is dead.

Jut like what there doing right now feel as if they are being pulled into a trap instead of Azur Lane being the mouse they are the ones that will become the mouse and Azur Lane is the bomb tha they will detonate to kill them.

One thing for sure is that whatever happens when they arrive at Midway they are surely going to be get themselves beaten to a bloody pulp.

And it feel like something good will happen to Ayanami but for the others it's like something bad will happen to them.

But deciding to not think such thing as it is jus plain stupid if that ever happens but it's still feels like it might happen.

Who knows it might be real but for now she shouldn't think of such things.

And should worry about her friends instead.

Shigure: oy Ayanami are you alright?

The sound of Shigure calling her made Ayanami break from her thoughts as she snap back to reality.

Ayanami: what is it Shigure?

Ayanami asked as she turns around to look at Shigure.

Shigure: you've been spacing out for 10 minutes are you really alright?

Shigure asked with a very worried look on her face.

Ayanami:yes I am fine just thinking about what to eat when we get back.

Ayanami lied as this made Shigure sweatdrop and give Ayanami a are you kidding me look on her face.

Shigure:seriously that was been bothering for hours and it was just food.

Shigure said while sweatdropping as she turns around and head back to the others.

Ayanami sigh at this she then look back to the sky.

It all looks fine but then you could small black smoke in the sky if you are not experience on what kind of smokes this are.

On could just simply thought of it as a storm will be coming but to be honest it isn't the case.

The black smokes in the sky is actually ashes coming from a volcano one that they are all heading to.

Midway is the route they were supposed to go through but reports say that Azur Lane have found out about there plan on attacking.

So they resort to ambush them at Midway instead.

Although Ayanami is not sure if this ambush of there will even work.

Its more like the will be the one that will get ambush instead of them.

And that would be something that Ayanami would hopefully never expect to happen.

But then again you might never know it might as well really happen when they get there.

The more problematic would be the male ship that they all have fought in the ruined islands.

Hearing him being the older brother of the infamous Grey Ghost was quite a shock to everyone.

Reports gave stated about him far more stronger than the grey ghost and is a hybrid ship.

The male ship was said to be a hybrid between a carrier and a battleship which something said to be impossible.

But by the looks of it that isn't the case anymore as they are seeing one and that is something to fear actually.

Being a Battlecarrier has a huge advantage it could be said that the ship is literally a Fortress in the sea.

If they try to attack it with there planes it will just intercept it with his own.

Sending several battleship is also a not good idea cause the ship itself could have multiple cannons.

Combining it with its planes makes it near impossible for them to even get close to it.

The thought of fighting the male ship made everyone worry but Akagi said she has it cover.

And she has something that will take care of the male Battlecarrier.

But Ayanami doubt that there is even something that could really rival the ship.

And if there was the chances of it being very low.

As there is no ship in Sakura Empire could possibly match the male ships.

And add the fact that the male ship has unkown weapons that he could use against them.

Or it's even possible that the male ship is carrying hell bombs.

Just the name of the hell bombs makes Ayanami spine shiver.

The power of the bomb was absolutely terrifying.

She has experience being bombed by it twice and by some miracle have mannage to live and tell the tale about.

But she highly doubts that she will even have third chance to even survive another Hell Bombs.

This is one advantage that Azur Lane have and they don't.

Some of  them even ask if they could even survive such bombs even if they haven't seen it.

But hearing it from the others that have seen what this hell bomb could do makes them all shiver in fear.

And they doubt that Akagi has something that can even handle this Hell bombs.

They don't even know if this bombs are they only weapon Azur Lane have.

One other thing is that there new developed weapons which seems advance even for them.

Some even think and wonder how did they even mannage to create such weapons.

They surely don't use Siren technology yet the are becoming advancer and would possiblly even be able to defeat the Sirens.

One other particular technology that Azur Lane have made is this bombs that can fly.

Ot more specifically Missiles it was thought that Ironblood were the only who are in possession of such weapons.

But it seems Azur Lane have created far more powerful missiles than IronBlood has.

From reports Ironblood was extremely shock of hearing that someone surpass them on creating missiles.

There were very large and couldn't be put on a ship or sub.

But Azur Lane have mannage to make small ones that could litteraly damage them from afar.

Surpassing the range of there cannons needles to say IronBlood was going crazy on how Azur Lane mannage to develop this weapons.

They couldn't even mannage to fully complete there own missiles and they got beaten by Azur Lane in the missiles arms race.

Some of the member in Crimson Axis are beginning to doubt that using Siren technology would make them able to defeat the Sirens.

But how wrong they were Azur Lane has develop miraculous dozens of weapons in just a span of 2 week since Crimson Axis declared war on them.

There level of weapons were completely surpassing there own some even heard that there ships carry new fighter planes and bombers.

That are capable of flying faster than the speed of sound could have.

This is something that made Ironblood jealous greatly do to the also making such planes but there's are mere prototypes.

And have yet to be finnish constructing and has yet to be tested.

Ayanami sighed a this Azur Lane was becoming stronger for some reason unkown.

There weapons are of Siren origin but something else it as if feels like created by someone far more powerful than the sirens.

And it feels like they should know who this person could have possibly been able to strengthen Azur Lane.

Reports from Ironblood said that they heard rumors of someone with immense knowledge was helping Azur Lane.

And that reason alone made Ironblood to investigate who this person is and would possiblly make him/her join them.

Who knows this person actually might help the defeat the Sirens once and for all.

Ayanami broke out of her thoughts as she turns to look towards them and see flames coming from afar.

They were nearing Midway and it won't be long as they are going to be in one big trouble once they get there and shiver went to Ayanami spine making her feel like they are now entering a dragons den and the are the sheep that is going to be roasted.
