"You lied to me my whole life! Now your monster child tried to kill me and you think that's okay? I AM DONE WITH YOU!" I am getting so close to breaking down, I get up and stomp upstairs to my room.

"Sweetheart please don't leave I am sorry" mom tries to stop me . I don't stop though, I run to my room, lock the door behind me balancing my back against the door I slide down and break into a loud sob. I don't know how long I cried. I cried so hard my eyes became red and swollen.

How did my life get here? Who am I? Why did my parents give me away? Eventually I decide to stop crying and start packing my clothes, my toiletries and send Sidharth a text.

"Please come get me, I really need you"

I attach crying emoji to the text hoping he will get the sense of urgency in my tone. Hopefully he will respond.

Ring! Ring!

Sidharth is calling me. I cant even believe how quick he responded

"H...hello" I answer, my voice breaking

"Are you crying little kitten?"

"Please come and get me, I need to get away from here" I mutter sobbing

"Where are you?"

"Home"

"My driver will be there in 20 minutes. He will take you to my house. I have a meeting now, I will meet you there after my meeting okay little kitten?"

"Y...yes. Thank you"

"20 minutes sharp kitten. Be outside" he hangs up the phone.

Mom comes knocking at my door.

"Honey please open up? I am so sorry my princess. Please open up so we can talk about this"

"Fucking leave me alone! I am leaving this dungeon. You can have your perfect life with your monster child" I yell.

"Honey you know she has a bad temper, let her calm down. We will talk to her later when she is calm. Please don't cry my love. I am sorry I put you through all this pain. I love you honey, please forgive me. I will make this right I promise" I hear my dad coaxing her.

Fifteen minutes later I walk out of my room with my bags and head straight to the kitchen door. Mom and dad are not in the kitchen, I guess they are in their bedroom dad coaxing her. I walk out and wait at the gate. Exactly 2 minutes after I get to the gate, Sidharth's driver pulls up next to me. He gets out of the car, opens the door for me, takes my bags in the boot and drives off. I could get used to this. Being treated like a queen. The Malhotra's might have broken my heart but their betrayal is sure bringing me closer to the man I love. I get to stay in his house, I will have him next to me every night. I cant ask for anything more.

SIDHARTH'S P.O.V-

I was on my way out of my office when I received a text from Maya. I knew she wouldn't be messing around after the punishment I gave her. So I called her, she picked up. I could tell from her breaking voice that she was crying. That kind of made me a little tensed, what if she is in some trouble? When she asked me to come and get her, I didn't think much about it all I knew was that she needed me and I was going to help her.

So I told her I would send my driver to get her. After hanging up the call I called my driver who was near her area to pass by her house to get her in 20 minutes sharp. Then my brain started working overtime, fuck if my maid saw her in my house she might tell my wife, I cant risk that. I called home.

"Maria please take down the photo frames of Shehnaaz and I from the dining room and the one in my bedroom and cover them and put them in my office, I will send someone to come and get them. I want to change their frames. Also I am leaving for Mozambique tonight so you can rest now. I wont be back for the rest of the month, you can take the time off and go home. I will call you when I come back"

She doesn't respond making me wonder if she is still on line. "Maria?" I call out.

"Ok sir. Thank you. I will cover them right away" she sounds conflicted.

"You don't have to worry about salary Maria, I will pay it full." I wonder if she is worried about her salary or something else. I have never cut her salary before, even when my wife asked her to take some time off. Maria is very dear to my wife, she's been working for us for over 5 years, she's become a part of the family. I don't talk to her a lot though, I leave all that to my lovely wife. As long as she trusts her, I don't have any problem.

"Thank you Sir. Its just Mrs Shukla asked me to take care of you, I wouldn't feel comfortable taking your money when I am not even cleaning the house to ensure you live un a clean environment."

"Maria I wont be around, there is no need for you to feel guilty. I have lot of things to do. As soon as I come back I will call you so you can earn your salary, okay?"

Sigh. I know she never questioned my orders but today I explained quite a lot probably because I was feeling guilty. I felt like she could see through me. Fuck I am screwing up right now aren't I? Shit! I really hope my wife doesn't find out about this. I wouldn't want history to repeat itself. I made a mistake once before we got married, boy was it hard to get her back.....

That woman can stay mad. When it first happened, I hadn't learned how much I love her. I thought she was one of the girls I dated and dumped whenever I felt like it. I though she would cry and beg me to stay with her, like they all did but she didn't, I cheated, she dumped me and literally let go. I couldn't believe how miserable I got after she left. After I got her back, I promised her I would let go of my playboy tendencies and I did. Now I am in this deep shit again because of my stupidity.

I never told Maya that I am married and judging from her miserable state earlier , she is definitely not ready to know about that. That's why I had Maria remove the photos. As soon as we solve the problem that has the little kitten so sad, I will sit her down with her and tell her the truth.

I make my way to my meeting knowing that driver will take her home and ensure she is safe. Hopefully Jay doesn't find out.
