The battle began. The Kalkeya army ran towards the line up of Mahismati army. From Bhalladeva's side, arrows were being thrown by sharp shooters and machines. But on Bahubali's side, an ingenious method was being used. First he catapulted a stone to check how far will it go. After being satisfied with it, he gave go ahead hand signal to his army. The men then hooked long sheet of clothes on to the stones and catapulted it towards the Kalkeyas. The sheet of clothe looked like a large blanket which covered most of the Kalkeya army. Then Amar shot an arrow with fire on its head on to the blanket, and it caught fire. Inkoshi got surprised by that ingenious method, and Sivagami was pleased. In Ayanika's side, just when the Kalkeya army was 10 m within reach, Ayanika shot an fire arrow which started of a line of fire. The approaching Kalkeyas stopped in their tracks. In those few seconds, something happened that surprised them even more.

Ayanika- ANGIVARSHAM!

The shooters started to shoot fire arrows at the Kalkeya troops. Everything around the Kalkeya troops started to catch fire. Slowly the it formed a box around the troops. For sometime everything got stopped around. Everyone was just looking at the spectacle unfolding in front of their eyes. After some time the fire died down, and everyone came out of their trance. The kalkeya troops had already engaged with Bhalla and Amar. The next trooped Kalkeya started running towards them when Ayanika yelled a command.

Ayanika - भित्तिं चिकित्सां कुर्वन्तु (Pull up the wall)

The soldiers who were standing in the front line picked up the ropes which were near their feets and pulled it with all their strength. It slowly started to come off the ground revealing a 6 feet horizontal shaped like triangle hole in it which was 10 m long. Kalkeyas were surprised seeing that and stood transfixed in their positions. Finally, when the walls were up, the soldiers tied to the stake which was near the Suraksha kavach. There were windows in those walls. All of them opened at the same time, and arrows blazing with fire on the head. Renuka looks at Ayanika, and she gives a nod. The arrows left the bow and fell into the pit. Suddenly, fire began to blaze out of the pit, which scared the Kalkeya troops. They started running back. Ayanika just smiles. She was standing on a podium from where she could see the entire battle field. This podium came out when the walls were pulled up. She looks towards at Amar's battle field. He was fighting very valiantly, like a lion. Then she looked at Bhalla's battle field. He was also fighting valiantly butmore like a bull. She understood that the time had come for Trishul Vyuh. She quickly got of the Podium and ran towards Kattapa.

Ayanika- Trishul vyuh aarambham, dhwaj mein dehi, yudhshringadhaj dhawanyatu. (start the trishul vyuh, give methe flag and sound the horn.)

Kattapa gives her the flag and she runs up the podium. He then sounds the war horn and Ayanika starts waving the flag. Amar and Bhalla hear the war horn and see the flag. They both take their armies onto the field. Amar was riding horse whereas Bhalla was riding a specially made chariot with spinning metal wheel with sharp blades on it.

They both cross the barriers made to stop them. But when they reach the Kalkeya troop lining, the troops put forward innocent villagers in front of them in an effort to stop the Princes advance. Seeing this Ayanika understood, they needed backup. She quickly attached the flag on the podium and got down from it. She ran up to Renuka.

Ayanika- Get our back up army ready, Renuka.

Renuka- (nodding her head and shouting) उद्धारसेना सज्जाः भवन्तु (Rescue army get ready)

The rescue army consisting of 5000 soldiers who were under Ayanika got ready on their horses.

Ayanika- Mama, when the entire rescue army gets out of here, pull up the walls.

Kattapa nods his head.

Ayanika- Renuka, take 3000 soldiers and go towards Bhalladeva. I will take 2000 soldiers including the archers to Amarendra.

Renuka nods her head and quickly the divides the army as Ayanika wanted. Then Ayanika indicates to lower the wall using her sword. The walls are lowered, and just as they touch the ground, Ayanika and Renuka depart with their troops towards their respective directions. Kattapa few soldiers from the starting line of kavach quickly left the formation and pulled up the walls.

When Renuka reached Bhalla's side, she saw bodies lying here and there. Even the innocent villagers had not been left. Bhalla had gone into the front line cutting them. She felt sad. But she could not stay in that feeling for a long time. She quickly got in the war, along with the soldiers.

When Ayanika reached Amarendra side, she saw the soldiers taking away the innocent villagers away from the war. She showed the sign that 1000 soldiers go and help them and 1000 archers to give them cover. She then joined Amar. Amar's troops also joined them, after giving the innocent villagers to Ayanika'a troops. They both were fighting as if they were Lord Ram and his brother, Lakshman.

When Renuka managed to catch up with Bhalla, she just saw him indiscriminately killing of the people infront of him. He wasn't caring if it was his soldier or if it was the enemy soldier. Renuka understood why Ayanika always stood in favor of her brother to become the King of Mahishmati.

The walls put and the fire was raging very brightly, this was something the Kalkeya troops couldn't cross. But then Kattapa heard neighing of horses. He understood that Ayanika's troops had arrived after rescuing the villagers. He quickly signaled the soldier to put the front walls down. Just as front walls came down, Ayanika' troops quickly got inside the shielding with villagers. Kattapa along with the other soldiers started putting the walls up. Even, though some kalkeya soldiers had managed to get in but it didn't take long for the soldiers to kill them. Just as everyone was relaxing, suddenly a huge stone crossed the wall and fell on the Suraksha kavach breaking.

Pirest- this is not a good sign. If the Suraksha kavach is broken then it means only one thing, death.

This was heard by soldiers fighting nearby, they started echoing the death and running away from the battle field to save their life. The same fear gripped the other soldiers and they also started running away.

Ayanika saw the soldiers running away from the battlefield, chanting the word death, she became confused as to what happened. She saw Amar getting on a horse and going towards the defence. She also sat on a horse and started following her brother.
