As you walk around the forest you look at the trees and their lush leaves. It's early summer and school was out a least a week ago. You never kept track as every day was tourcher.

You being a teenage girl, you love music, drawing, sports, and mythical creatures. But, your love for this fantasy of creatures makes you easy to pick on. The people that bully you at school happen to live in the same neighborhood.

Your mom would always tell you to get your head out of the clouds and go outside. Your dad didn't care what you did as long as you weren't texting your friends or on electronics. Lastly your younger brother, he always drove you crazy and didn't help the fact the school was horrible. Him being only a year and a half younger than you, you'd think he'd know better to leave you alone.. Nope.

Anyways, you had your normal mourning of your mom barking at you and your brother annoying the crap out of you. You give way and go outside, wearing your favourite hoodie with wolf ears and fluffy wolf tail (that you made). As per usual, you bullies found you and started picking on you. But this time something was different...

-Flash back to a little earlier-

"Spencer leave me alone!" you cry as 3 guys pin you in an alleyway. "Why should I?" the tallest one asks laughing at your shaking form. "Summer's about fun right?" he smirks. Cleary, he had something in store for you. You shake hard, mostly from fear as you try to find a way out before something happens.

"Looking for a way out eh?" he laughs. Spencer glare at you from under your hood and he punches you square in the jaw.

Your head rings as you fall to the ground, blood running from you mouth. Just when you think it's over, Spencer kicks you in the gut several times. The 3 boys give you room as you cough up small amounts of blood. Spencer nods, seeming pleased. "Thanks for the fun!" he says walking away leaving you on the ground.

-flash back ova-

You stand in a small clearing that you always do and kneel down on a mossy rock. You continue to cough up blood as it runs down the side of your face. One hand clutching your stomach as you try to heal yourself, and the other holding you up from the ground. This is normally were you would come to work on your magic skills. Most of the time, you'd use them to make wings when no one was around, or heal yourself when Spencer had his "play time".

You finally stop coughing, a little blood still running down your face as you pull out a pair scissors. You pull up your sleeves and make small marks. You never cut yourself to bleed, it was to vent your anger. Giving up, you stop and pull your sleeves back over your arms. You lay on the ground as another wave of sickness washes over you. You continue coughing blood feeling so helpless and why no one helps you, just hates you. "What did i do wrong!" you scream into the forest in pure pain.

Yet little did you know that something has been watching you, the whole time. Ever since you entered the forest for the first time in your life. You felt the thing watching you, but you didn't care, you just look at the moss. Now stained a crimson red. Still barely holding yourself up, you feel something wrap around your waist. It feels scaly yet warm, yet you don't turn around. You close your eyes tears lining them. "Just kill me now..." you says quietly through you coughing up blood.

To your surprise, the thing gently flips you over and lays you in it's arms. The strange tail still wrapped around you. "Why would I?" a voice says from the creature holding you. "You have every right to be here, you did nothing wrong..."
