20) All I'm left with are "Faded Colours"

Interview with Ross - Blueskylover for his Poetry "Faded Colours"

About Him : He's a super zombie and horror fan. Lana Del Rey is his Inspiration. He is fond of reading and his favorite genres are horror, comedy, romance, mystery, sci-fi and fantasy.

His Works : Faded Colours, Collection of Sad/Dark Poems. And, Two Zombie Apocalypse Stories - Rain and Storm.

A Small Talk with the Poet :)

1) Why the title is "Faded Colors?"

> Later on in the poem, the chapters/poems are going to be titled after objects or animals in her life whose colours slowly start to fade as the protagonist tries to find happiness, experience excitement or divulge in her sadness. It symbolically represents her faltering interior as everything around her fails to sustain her.

2) Do you think it is possible to have everything you want?

> I think that really comes down to the person and how happy they can be with what they already have. In regards to my poem, I say that Veronica has everything that she wants on a materialistic level. As the poem progresses you find that she has is a restless soul that can't really be satisfied with anything she owns, and its that unfulfilled desire that slowly destroys her.

3) Is Veronica, a real person or its purely imaginative?

>The name is fictitious and her story is going to be dramatized to an extent I haven't personally reached, but she is most definitely a reflection of myself and a few people I personally know.

4) Who are some of your favorite poets?

> I personally love Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath and the dynamic created by the two and conveyed in 'Birthday Letters'. Oscar Wilde is also one of my favorites.

5) What makes a poem “good”?

> Emotion and soul. In my personal opinion, if you don't write a poem that you can emotionally connect with, or isn't a reflection of your soul, then I won't consider it to be "good." A poem can of course be written well, and good in terms of poetic techniques, but on an existential level if the poem lacks the emotional depth invested by the poet, I won't personally be able to connect with the poem itself.

6) Do you sit and think through every word of every stanza or do you just write freely and allowing the words to flow?

> In writing books, I agonize over every word I write (or type) but in writing poetry, which I have only been writing recently, I find that it's best to write freely. If you speculate and rethink every word you use the poem itself can come out extremely choppy and won't reflect what I want to convey at all. However, when I write it freely without looking back at what I'm writing I find that the message I want to convey is essentially exemplified. It attributes a 'raw' essence to the poem that I really admire.

7) Any Message to readers?

> Write what you want to write. Don't think about pleasing anyone else, do it for yourself. Because if you don't enjoy, or you can't connect with what you write, no one else will.

Awethentic Note : Personally, I really liked his collection of poems and that is why I asked him for an Interview. But, his other works will be just as good, if any of you like Zombie stuffs, then do check out and give feedbacks.

Everyone love Feedbacks as it helps to Motivate and Maintain Contact.

So, Feedbacks are Welcome here, as well. ;) :))

Thank You.
