"So where's the hut at?" I asked, once we got back on the Homestead.

"All the way over there," he points, dropping my hand. I felt kind of disappointed that he dropped it, but that's life. It's not like we're even dating anyways.

We sprinted over to where I would be residing. Actually, I sprinted. Newt just limp-ran the entire way. Once we got to the cabin, I asked him, "What happened? How come you have a limp?"

"I feel that I shouldn't tell you now, so I won't," he sighed. "I'll tell you once you get settled in for a while."

Huh. Suspicious. Ignore it, Marie. It doesn't concern you right now.

"What are you guys doing over here?" Minho asked, suddenly materializing behind us.

"Marie, meet your two new neighbors," Newt awkwardly said, motioning towards himself and Minho.

Be civil. Be civil, Marie. Civil. That should be your new motto.

"Nice to meet you," I grit my teeth. "I hope we can get along."
