Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip

The leaking pipeline droplets hit the puddle in the smoky alleyway of Gotham City. From the sewer pipes it gave smoke you could see the outline of a person. The lights flickered from the door where the Italian Restaurant that Falcon owned. In the distance at the end of the alley there is a man who is counting his money that he stole from the Bank Of Gotham on Miagani Island.

" Score" he said as his voice had traces of a triumphant dominance. He heard a sound of metal clanging the floor and he looked toward the smoke. The outline of the figure was gone and replaced by nothing. The light flickered again and the figure appeared again. The mans eyes widened.

" Who are you?!" He demanded and pointed a gun at the shadow but there wasn't a replay. The man put his finger on the trigger and pulled. He closed his eyes and the force of his gun rang through his hand. He opened his eyes and saw the figure was gone. He looked around frantically trying to spot the man from the shadows.

" Who do you think I am?" A voice replied. It seemed to echo throughout the alleyway. The mans heart rate picked up as the figure from the shadows appeared a few feet in front of him. The man eyes widened as he pointed the gun at him. It wreaked of gunpowder and lead. The gun trembled ever so slightly as the man had a beat of sweat go down the forehead.

" You d-don't scare me" the man said having a fearful tone laced with the once triumphant one. The figure held a knife in his right hand. The man could see the glint of the flickering light in the background. His eyes widened as he dropped his gun and put his hands up in defense. His eyes were wide with fright.

" Please No! I have a family!" The man pleaded and put his hands together as if he was praying. He dropped to his knees.

" Lies! That's all I hear are Lies!" The figure said in a demanding voice. He didn't sound more that 13, but the hood that shadowed his face made it difficult to tell what his age was. The mans eyes darted around frequently looking for help, he found none.

" No Please! I'm not Ly--" the man said but his sentence stopped as the blade went across making a thin and straight line. The blood came from the left and gusted down to the right as the man gasped. He put his hands on his throat trying to get a breath. The figure stood their and watched his victim fall to his side and hands sprawl in front of him. The blood coated his hands and started to pool around his neck. The figure pulled out a match and lit it with his thumb. It started to flicker as he threw it in the duffle bag of bills from the Bank Of Gotham. The bills started to burn as the figure slowly walked away from the scene. He put finger to his left ear.

[Command Base. This is Operative R. Target DeMarco Evans has been eliminated.]

Wally groaned while he was sprawled on the couch. Artemis growled as it was the fifth time in a row that the speedster groaned from boredom. Megan hummed quietly as she was baking in the kitchen getting help from Conner who was quite annoyed with Wally as well. Aqualad was sitting on the couch while he was reading the Maze Runner by James Dashner.

" Can we do something please?! I'm bored out of my mind!" Wally demanded and threw his head back. Artemis gripped her magazine trying to tone Wally out. Megan popped her head out of the kitchen.

" We could tell stories about how we became superheroes" Megan said and Conner popped his head out from behind her. He has blotches of flour on his face from baking. Artemis put her magazine in her lap. The front and the last pages were crinkled from gripping them to hard.

" Anything to shut up Kid Mouth" Artemis said and Wally flashed her a silent glare, he always tried to imitate Batman. The team hadn't been assigned a mission in a while because Batman was caught up with a killer in Gotham.

'Recognizing Batman 01' the Zeta-Tubes metallic voice rang throughout the Cave. The team turned their heads and saw the Dark Knight. He had a deep scowl as he started typing on the computer to turn the Gotham News.

" This is Vicki Vale, we have new about a murder on Miagani Island of a man named DeMarco Evans. At the scene there was a burning bag of cash with a symbol. The symbol has been analyzed to be written in the victims blood." The news woman Vicki Vale said and new came up a image of bloody 'R' in a circle, like the symbol for Anarchy. The blood was dripping done from the symbols circle.

" This has been Vicki Vale with the evening news from Gotham City" Vicki said and the news cut off. There was a deadly silence as all the team members stood in their uniforms ready for a mission. Batman started typing and bringing up images from the computers Database.

" There's a new murderer  around Gotham. He has a very unique signature but I can't find him no matter how many suspects I've tried. Tonight's man, DeMarco Evans was a murder, he's known for killing the Cameron Family because of a grudge against the family. The daughter was found hanging from the flag pole at Wayne Enterprises." Batman said and Kid Flash has a horrified face from hearing that, so did Megan. Artemis blinked and cleared her face of all emotion. Then came up a blurred of a figure running.

" I need you to investigate and catch whoever is killing these people. Bring them back to the Cave for Interrogation. The Flash and Green Arrow will be accompanying you on this mission. His next target is believe to be Aaron MeChartney. He lives on Miagani Island in the China Town complex. Apartment 32 on the fifth floor is where you'll find." Batman said and the team looked at him. Then the lights from the Zeta-Tube provided light in the already lighten room. The two glowing dots materialized into Green Arrow and Flash.

' Recognizing Green Arrow 05. Flash 03' the metallic voice rang throughout the cave to announce the arrival of the two League members.

" Allen, Queen glad of you that finally join us" Batman said and they walked over to the YJ. Flash placed a hand on his nephews shoulder and looked at Batman.

" Well hello to you too Bats" Flash said and Batman gave him a Bat-Glare and Flash instantly paled. Megan put a hand on her temple.

" Coordinates received." Miss. Martian said and her eyes started glowing green. Everyone looked at her as they heard the clicks of Batman typing on the holographic computers keyboard. Her eyes soon turned back to their normal hazel brown.

" You leave now" Batman said and swooped his hand and the holographic computer vanished. He started to the Zeta-Tube with the swoop of his cape he went into the Zeta-Tube.

' Recognizing Batman 01' the metallic voice rang through the cave and the team looked at each other. Green Arrow smirked and held his bow proudly.

" What are we waiting for?! Let's go on this mission" Green Arrow said and dragged Artemis behind him. She looked surprised but starts started walking on her own as her teammates followed her. They walked down to the Hanger which held Megan's Bio-Ship. The Bio-Ship was in resting mode so it was just a cherry red bean.

" Why is it a bean?" Flash asked. Megan swiped her hand and the Bio-Ship started to change shape and was its original agile shape. The door morphed open and they walked inside the ship. In the direct middle was the steering chair and surrounding that was the chairs for the others. Megan sat in the Captains chair and put her hands on the orbs. The whole front of the ship had a window panel so the team out see outside. Conner sat on her right and put his hands on the desk in front of him. Kaulder sat in front of Conner and was typing on the computer typing the battle plan ready. Green Arrow sat in front of Kaulder and was checking his arrows. Kid Flash sat on Megan's left and was munching on a sandwich he made. Artemis sat in front of Kid Flash and checked her arrows trying to one out the munching from the speedsters. Barry sat in front of her and was also eating a sandwich.

" Who's ready to catch this lunatic?" Green Arrow as he put the last arrow back in his quiver. He looked at everyone and Kid Flash nodded.

" I am even though I haven't met this guy he still is a criminal and it our jobs to capture him" Kid Flash said and Kaulder smiled. Conner and Artemis gave a confused raised eyebrow and looked at Flash.

" That's my nephew" Flash smiled proudly and Kaulder cleared his throat.

" Here is the plan to capture this killer" Kaulder said and everyone listened up to hear what Kaulder had in store.

[Gotham City|Secret Location]
{No POV}

The three men watched the boy from behind the glass window. His Raven black hair was matted and shaggy with his red and black uniform. Their hands behind their backs studying his movements, every time he jerked his foot or twitched a finger they saw it. The middle had a very distinctive orange and black mask, to his left stood a man with a green green uniform with a katana at his side, then to his right stood a man who looked like an owl. They were also known as DeathStroke, Ra Houl Ghul, and Talon.

" Is Renegade holding up as planned?" Talon asked DeathStroke. He was the head of the operation.

" The past testing have been successful. The torture seems pretty persuasive as well. Thanks to the formula that the scientist are creating we have complete control of his mind. Also the help of Psimon has been helpful as well" Ra's said and looked at DeathStroke. The boys eyes opened and he gasped.

" Renegade are you ready to start your mission for Mr. Aaron McChartney" DeathStroke asked as he pushed the button the the keyboard. The door slid to the side. The boy walked out the room, his eyes were lifeless and dull. They held no color as his face and skin were a pale grey. His face had small glowing grey cracks in it, like he was a vase slowly shattering. He placed the mask over his eyes and gave a simple nod to them.

" Yes Sir. I am ready to kill Mr. McChartney" the boy said in a deadpanned and lifeless voice. He pulled up his hood and placed his hands at his sides.

" You are dismissed to start your mission" DeathStroke said and swiped his hand. The boy then walked out the open door and it slid down, closed the door. The pure white room was deadly silent.

" What if Renegade were to fail his mission?" Talon asked and DeathStroke looked down at him.

" He will not fail, not for what is at stake for him"
