Robin's POV

My head had the worse feeling. I opened my eyes and saw a blurred concrete floor. I slowly lifted my head and saw metal walls, they looked withered but still held there shape.

" Hello Richard" a smooth voice said behind me.  I blinked and my vision eventually got clearer, but that didn't stop the pain I felt. I remember being on a roof, then being attacked by DeathStroke, Ra Al Ghul, and Talon. How did they know my name?

" Where am I?" I asked calmly as I clenched my eyed to try and stop the pain.

" Your at my Haunt. We have an investment that we intend to fulfill Richard" DeathStroke said and finally came into my vision.

" What investment? Why am I here?" I asked forcefully and he punched me in the face.

" Don't use that tone!" He threatened through his teeth and I brought my head back to its original position. I spit blood on the floor.

" Slade" Ra's said and walked in, followed by Talon, or as he prefers it Owlman.

" We need the boy alive, he is my grandson after all" Owlman said and I looked at the floor. I knew that my family had ties to the Court of Owls on my Mothers side of the family. My mom and dad always told me stories about the saying.

" He needs to comply" DeathStroke said and Ra's looked at him.

" He will once we get our methods started. That's why we have connections" Ra's said while him and Slade walked out of the room. Leaving me with Owlman.

" Hello Dick" Owlman said and stood in front of me.

" Why am I here?" I asked the repeated question. He looked at me.

" We have an investment. That's you" Owlman said and he pulled out a paper.

" Did you know that when you were 10 that you were supposed to come with me and become a Talon" he said and my eyes widened. He unrolled the paper and I saw the signature of my parents in the line.

" I was supposed to be a Talon" I muttered and thoughts went through my head.

" Yes, actually you would be my successor. But of course your parents would have to be killed but it already seems that they already are dead" He said and I hung my head.

" Owlman. Operation B is a go" DeathStroke said and I brought up my head to see Owlman pull out a syringe with a clear liquid.

" We'll talk later about this ok Dick" Owlman said and stabbed the syringe into my neck. I stiffened as he squeezed in the contents and pulled it out. My eye lids felt heavy and everything was going black. I tried to fight it but I was failing. I hung my head and kept trying not to go under.

" Goodnight Dick" Owlman said and my eyes closed.

I was in the Juvenile Detention Center. Sitting on my bed just staring at the wall because that's all you could so here.

" Why did they die?" I muttered as I pulled my legs closer to my chest. Then a knock came on the door. My social worker came in with a fake smile and a man.

" Richard. This is Mr. Wayne he's here to talk to you" she said and a man came in. But his face was blurred out. I stretched my legs as they dangled above the floor.

" Hello Richard" Mr. Wayne said and he sat down in a chair in front of me.

" Hi Bruce" I said and he grabbed me by the throat and shoved me against the wall. The background changed into Wayne Manor.

" Why did I even Adopt you!?" He yelled and punched me in the face. I crumbled to the ground and blood came from my nose.

" Gypsy Mistake. Jason can do a better job than you at anything. Why are you even a hero no one cares anyways" he said and kicked me in the stomach. My eyes closed and I stayed in the floor.

" Robin wake up!" Artemis yelled and my eyes shot open. I was sitting in the middle of a black room with all the people I trust around me in a circle.

" Where am I?" I asked and she put her finger against her lips.

" Why are you a hero?" She asked and Wally crossed his arms.

" Because I want to fight Justice" I said and she shook her head.

" No you just want to be a hero so you can get people to trust you, then break it" she said and my eyes widened. I heard everyone start to murmur in agreement.

" No I don't." I said and Batman shook his head.

" Artemis is right Robin why are you a hero?" He asked and I looked at everyone.

" Because I wanted to avenge my parents killer" I said and hung my head. Then everyone started yelling.

" Who cares.." Came from Green Arrow.

" You we never a good hero" came from Red Hood.

" Why are you even on the team!" Wally yelled and I looked them all. Even Kaulder and Aquaman were yelling at me.

Everyone started yelling out all my mistakes and I flinched. Then the voices soon got lower and lower until I couldn't hear them anymore. I looked at everyone and saw that their face were blurred out.

" Who are you people?" I asked quietly but I knew they didn't hear me. I looked down to see a uniform with red and a yellow R over my hear.

" Wake up my little Robin" came a smooth and calm voice and I blinked.

I gasped awake and I looked around. I saw concrete and metal. Where am I?

" Ahh your awake Richard" A man said with a half orange and black mask. On his left stood a man with white hair and a goatee, and on his right stood a man who looked like an owl.

" Good to see your awake, Richard the white haired man said and I looked around. I looked down to see that's I was dressed in all black. I looked up at them. Then I finally asked.

" Who's Richard?"
