Lloyd felt a cold wall pressing against his back, the water dripping down it, soaking his green t-shirt. His wrists hurt and his arms were sore from being above his head. He forced his eyes open.

His green eyes took a monument to adjust to the dark room. He looked up and saw his that his wrists were chained to the wall. 

As his eyes got better at seeing the dark, Lloyd saw shapes of other prisoners. His friends. He quickly counted. There was only 3, not counting himself. 

"Guys, is that you?" the green ninja asked.

"Yeah, its us," Kai said from Lloyd's right.

"Lloyd, it me Jay" Jay called from far to Lloyd's left. 

"I am present, Lloyd," Zane spoke. He was far to Lloyd's right.

"Where's Cole?" Lloyd asked.

"The wizard took him awhile ago," Kai said.

"Are the girls here?"

"No. My scans show no sign of the girls," Zane said.

Lloyd let out a sigh of relief. If the girls weren't here, he knew they were safe. His thoughts swirled about Willow and the other female ninja.

Suddenly, a door burst open and bright light flooded the room. Lloyd winced and squinted. He saw Cole being dragged in by two huge wolves. 

"Cole!" The four ninja yelled. Cole didn't move or respond. The ninja struggled to get free, but their powers didn't work and the chains were too strong. 

"Easy, your friend is fine. But I doubt he'll stay that way much longer," A man's voice said. The wizard entered the room, his black robe dragging on the stone floor behind him. 

Suddenly, Cole started to thrash around. The wolves dropped him. Cole didn't stop flopping like a fish. His clothes ripped and torn as his body grew in size. Jet black fur sprouted all over his body. His nose elongated and became a bear snout. 

When the transformation was complete, the master of earth was gone. In his place lay a man-sized black bear, around its neck hung a gold amulet. 

"Cole?" Kai asked, fear chilling his voice.

"Your friend is no longer there. All that remains is the Beast," The wizard said as a wolf brought in a table with four other amulets, exactly like the one around the bear's neck.  

"And soon, nothing but the Beast will remain of you. You will be the perfect pack to track the princess and her little friends, unless you wish to make this simple and just tell me where they are," The wizard said, moving closer to the ninja.

"Never!" Lloyd growled.

"Go die in a hole!" Kai shouted.

"When I get free, you're going to wish you were never born, Wizard," Jay yelled.

"My name is Worsak, and I am a warlock. And, no, I don't think I will. What about you, metal ice ninja?" Worsak said, turning to the mater of ice.

"I would never tell you where my love, or my friends' loves reside, even if I knew," Zane said defiantly and spit in Worsak's face. 

The warlock wiped his face off and grabbed an amulet, placing it around the ninjdroid's neck. 

Zane cried out as his clothes ripped apart as his arms became wings and his body sprouted feathers. His shoes split as his feet became yellow and bird like. His screams became screeches. 

Zane was a human-sized snow white falcon.

"Now for the rest of you," Worsak said, placing the remaining amulets around the ninjas necks.

Jay became a grey wolf the size of a human. Kai turned into a tiger as big as a human.

Lloyd closed his eyes as the pain started. His last thought was of  Willow, his beautiful wonderful princess.

"I'll keep fight for your love. For our love."
