AWAKENING
'Awakening'
ARYA ANDREWS WAS UNIQUELY
DIFFERENT from her older brother, Archie. They didn't share the same colour hair, the same personality nor the same ambitions in life. They were solar opposites - north and south. Where Archie was talented in football, she was with cheerleading. Where Arya was advanced in her studies, he was only just passing. Where Archie was friends with Betty, she was with a different Cooper.
Archie and Arya may have been uniquely different, but they redeemed themselves in the sense that they both shared the unconditional love that a brother and sister should feel for each other.
However, everything changed that eventful 4th of July at Sweetwater River when she found out about how one of her best friends, Jason Blossom, was planning on running away and without a single goodbye. Despite her forgiving nature, she couldn't find it in her to forgive Jason Blossom for leaving, no matter, how many times she told her self that it wasn't his fault - Arya just needed someone to blame.
Since that day Arya wasn't the same person; she wasn't the same bubbly, blonde co-leader of the Vixen's nor was she the same queen bee that roamed the hallways of Riverdale high with the Cheryl Blossom. Arya Andrews was trapped in a cage of her own body.
Sure, her healthy lungs inhaled and exhaled, her cold heart pumped blood and her slender body consumed the necessary foods for survival, yet, still, in her wanderers mind she couldn't help but feel melancholic anger. She'd stare out of her window with her eyes set frozen on even the tiniest little glimpse of Sweetwater River and just imagine how the death of Jason played out.
Things did get better for her, for, with a little help, she had an awakening, realising there was more to life then sulking in her room. For on her day out, Arya bumped into a certain old friend.
Hope you enjoy my new Riverdale fanfic!
