CHAPTER VII: Freedom

"Man, she could have heard you. What were you thinking?"

I went to the courtyard with the other guests. I was so pissed for their misbehave towards Alpha Victor and his Beta.

"Sorry. When I saw her hint of sadness I couldn't help it."

He furrowed his eyebrows, while I saw my beautiful mate leaving with one of the two guys, maybe around my age. My wolf growled internally when I saw how he sneaked an arm around her neck, and she did the same with his waist. Fuck.

'What if he's her boyfriend?'

'Shut up! She's mine!'

'Ours mister... Don't get me wrong but we don't know anything about her. What if she is in love with him?'

'Well... It's easy, we will rip his head out. She belongs to us! She's made for us!'

At that point I closed my inner dialogue with my wolf before he would surface and claim what is ours. My wolf let out a louder snarl, that even made my chest vibrate, when we heard their laugh.

"Hey, calm down dude. We're not in our pack house."

I sighed, while I turned to face my friend, who is also my Alpha.

"I know but, it drives me insane to see her touching another male or vice verse, even if she speaks with no one that's not me. That makes me want to rip their heads out. She's mine!"

I growled the last part, taking the attention of few guests. Clearing my throat, I felt his hand giving a little squeeze to my left shoulder. Thanks God my mate wasn't in the hallway anymore. My wolf whimpered in pain, however I was lucky she hadn't heard me.

While we walked through the aisle, I was laughing at Charlie's comments like 'Oh! Have you seen his face red as a tomato?' or 'Hey! If they are so grumpy and sexiest, I will have to ask the Lunas if their husbands spank them'. Damn, my belly ached from laughing so hard, while we kept our arms around each other bodies.

"You're not serious about asking them, are you?"

I raised an eyebrow in surprise. I didn't even realize that we were in the living room with the Lunas looking at us in awe.

"Asking them what Andrea?"

Luna Julie asked, soft but with a hint of amusement in her voice. Pulling away I tried to answer.

"What? Ehm... No, nothing."

I shrugged and I gave her my 'cute puppy smile' trying to change her attention, she bit her lower lip, giving us that look.

"So you and Charlie... You know, are a couple."

That seemed more a statement that a question. Damn Lunas, always gossiping! Then I felt someone hugging me from behind and a warm breath on my neck. No please Charlie, not this.

"Of course we are dating. Now that just concluded the assembly we thought to have a little of fun. You know what I mean."

Giving me a kiss on the neck, my eyes widened. As the Lunas looked us with a smirk and knowledge looks, Genevieve laughed her ass off. We all knew how teasing and Casanova could be this Italian guy.

"Abello, tesoro, ma che carragazzi e testa di cazzo che sei."
(Abello, honey, what a dickhead and prick you are.)

He chuckled on my neck, while I tried not to giggle too. I couldn't be serious in such a situation, and less if I call someone dickhead with my Italian accent. Letting go of me he started to walk towards the Lunas while I decided to go upstairs to my room to change.

"Well, well Lunas. I know we have enough confidence to ask you a question somewhat personal, haven't we?"

"Oh Charlie! Sure thing. Ask! Ask!"

Oh my! When I heard that I started to run up the stairs, knowing what he was asking next. I didn't want to face a bunch of angry Lunas, I had enough with their mates.

Once dressed with my black gym shorts, grey tank top and my red and black Nike, I made my way downstairs. Yeah I know I love Nike, so what?

Looking at my clock I saw 1:23 pm, then sighed in annoyance.

"Fuck, I'm hungry..."

Murmuring, I made my way next to the pillars of the courtyard and I saw the five Alphas already prepared. I sighed in annoyance, I wanted to finish as soon as possible, I was so tired of their bullshit. Before reaching them I felt a hand grabbing my arm, making me turn back.

"Woa- Hey Luna Maria, why that worried face? Everything will be okay."

"Are you sure to do this? I mean look at them! They wanted to beat you up."

Then I saw how Nathan took her hand in his, squeezing it a little.

"Maria, do you trust me?"

She looked dumbfounded, exchanging a glance with her husband our eyes met again.

"Of course yes! Why are you-"

"And you Nathaniel? Do you trust me?"

"Yes, since you saved the life of my wife and sons I trust you as if you are a part of my body."

I nodded in gratitude for the confidence they had put in me.

"Good. Because I think I will need your help."

"Andrea please, I'll help you with all I have and can. But promise me that you will be okay."

She caressed my cheek and I smile softly, trying to ensure her.

"I promise."

With that I reached the center of the courtyard and I met face to face with five of the most big and powerful Alphas. God save me.

'God... Do you see her? We have to be very grateful!'

'Yeah, what a hot mate we have! Damn, look at the shorts... She has a perfect round ass!'

I rolled my eyes at the, like always, dirty comments of my wolf. But he was sort of right, we have a goddess for a mate.

"Your kinky wolf eh?"

I smiled in agreement with my Alpha when he whispered to me, he sighed deeply at the sight.

"But I have to admit it, your mate is fucking sexy."

That really pissed me off, even if he was my Alpha he wasn't allowed to look at what's mine. My inner part growled softly but I sent him a murderous glare. He was taken back for my actions.

"Woa- man! Calm down... I was only giving my opinion."

Sighing in annoyance I shook my head.

"Sorry dude, it's like I feel I have to protect her. That means being a protectively asshole towards her."

"I understand. We have almost the same age, we like hot young chicks. Plus more or less we like the same girls, but... Damn man, I have to admit it! That gym pants suits her perfectly."

Now I growled. He wasn't helping a bit. He raised his hands in defense with a smirk on his face, and mouthed me a 'Sorry'. He looked fucking amused. I shook my head while I cringed my teeth.

'Show us what are you made of sassy girl!'

I smirked at my wolf howl while I let my eyes fall on her. Well or at least on her back curves.

I was feeling very uncomfortable while I was in front of the group of Alphas, like if someone was eye raping me.

"Afraid, Andrea?"

"Ha! You wish Rupert! I swear to my head that I'll beat you up."

Alpha John raised and eyebrow, while the others were smirking.

"I'll love to kick that pretty ass of yours."

"That's disgusting to say and disrespectful towards your mate."

"You're saying that I'm irreverent to Bella?"

I started to approach him slowly and carefully to give him a punch straight in his jaw. That motherfucker. When I was about to move my arm, Victor appeared from behind and grabbed my wrist. He shook his head and I took few steps backwards.

"That's enough. You will have plenty of liberty to kick each others ass. Now, the rules are very simple because there are none. Well yes, two of the most simple ones: one, you won't destroy my house because then I'll rip all your heads out; two, you won't kill anyone, only beating him or her until unconsciousness or up to surrender. Okay then, was I clear?"

I saw Rupert walking first, next to Victor. He offered his hand to shake while looking at me straight in the eyes.

"Clear as the water."

I hummed in response, what a disgusting guy. I took his hand with mine and I felt immediately a terrible grip on it, like he was about to destroy it. I kept back my rage, violence and force to the fight.

"Andy?"

"Well, shall we start then?"

I heard my Alpha smirk, then I took a few steps behind and saw how my opponents exchanged few words before positioning themselves in alert positions, ready to attack. I laughed internally at the sight of it. Five of the most powerful first ranks fighting against me, how funny.

'Thana? Can we help you?'

'Shut up and don't you dare to call me with that name.'

I heard how they laughed inside my head, fuck. How I hate the sensation of anyone speaking inside my mind. 

'Oh c'mon Than, you know you will need our help.'

'Can you all shut up? I have plenty control of the situation, if not I will let you free. Done?'

'Yup! Call us beauty!'

I sighed... my demons wanted to take control. Cool, maybe I will let them have some fun. Then I concentrate my attention to the group of men standing in front of me waiting for my first move. Cowards. They were positioned in an inverted arrowhead formation with Rupert in the middle and the most far from me. I understood perfectly, if I started to run directly towards the center where that dickhead was they would stopped me. So in a millisecond I already had some moves in my head, I started my attack.

I ran and passed the formation. With all my strength I took a few steps on the wall behind the group of Alphas and I pushed myself with my feet to do a somersault. While I was in the air I teleported my body and half second after I was above Alpha John. Turning my body to face his head I kicked his neck horizontally with my knee, making his body fly and fall some feet away. He was unconscious. Good, one less.

Once my feet were on the ground, teleporting my body again, I found myself in middle air falling in front of Alpha Carton. Preparing my fist to give him a punch, obviously he blocked it. He grabbed my wrist squeezing it tightly, I heard my bones crack, so before he could break it I hold on the same arm he took me. I used the situation at my favour so I tried to kick him on the neck, but he blocked it again. Getting tired, with my only free leg I kicked him straight on the stomach. Hearing him groan in pain, he let me go and fell on his legs clutching his stomach for the ache. I let him knocked out when my knee made contact with his temple, making his body fly out the 'ring'.

Suddenly I felt someone holding me by my arms and the next thing was Alpha Landon punching me repetitively on my abdomen. I was shaking for the impacts, feeling numb and weak. When I raised my sight my eyes met Rupert who was smirking. I wanted to kill him so badly, to see his blood spoil. Then with the last punch I felt like everything little by little went silent, I couldn't move so falling on the cold ground I saw how the three of them were celebrating their victory.

'Thana. Oh my beautiful Thana! Did you see what they did to you? They humiliated you , they hurt you. Now, now, what are you going to do?'

'Shut the hell up! I know what are your intentions. I still have strength to fight! I have the situation under control!'

I was trying to remain calm, but I couldn't. He was right, I hate how now they were celebrating a victory they didn't even deserved. But I didn't know what I was going to do, even if I was strong they were still Alphas.

'Oh poor Andrea... Do as you wish, I will be very proud to meet your mother and sister in hell. What would they say if they would see you now?'

'Shut up!'

'They would be pitying you, ashamed for what they would be looking at, disgusting of you!'

'I said shut up! That's not true!'

'Yes it's true! And if you don't want them to see you in this way... LET ME SURFACE NOW!'

I put my hands on my temples trying to calm the terrible pain inside my head, but one second later all arrived at the end.

Opening my eyes, all the colors I saw now were in grey tonalities. I perfectly knew what was going on, he took the control. The most disturbing thing is that I let it happen. I raised up slowly from the ground and I could hear the gasps of the people in there. I was facing Alpha Landon who got angry and tried to punched me, obviously it wasn't me who was in control so the inevitable happened. One second after I had my arm, almost reaching my elbow, through his abdomen. Removing the arm he coughed blood, I was really enjoying it.

"Andrea! I said to not kill anyone!"

I turned to look at Victor only to see his eyes widened. All was grey and I couldn't see his appearance, that demonic eyes were made on purpose to see the vital flow of blood and energy that passes through the body. With them I could see the next movements of my opponents and also their weak points. With training you could differentiate the facial or body expressions.

"I didn't kill him. I... only had left him half dead."

I smiled creepy at my Alpha and then started to lick the blood of my arm. People was afraid about my eyes, they were different tonalities of red with a black cat pupil, but what made the difference was Vic. He wasn't scary about my look, he was worried about my lost of control.

'Thana! It's my turn I want to feel the freedom!'

'No! It will be me! I'm stronger than you!'

'Shut up all of you! Than, beauty. Let me free and we can destroy this world only you and me, my little girl.'

I grabbed my head with my hands, I couldn't endure the pain and the voices anymore, it was driving me insane. With all my strength I decided to cut the link in that moment, now in my knees I was trembling because it was me now who was in full control. I lost all my power and strength, like previous times. I knelt in front of Rupert. Holy shit. The next movement was his punch making contact with my jaw making me flying to the other part of the courtyard. Groaning in pain I stood up, and I thought on a plan B as fast as I could. Then I thought of someone who could help me. I started walking towards their direction.

"Sorry."

Before I grabbed her I muttered something that I was hoping she would have heard. Moving faster I was in front of Rupert and Alpha William with shocking expressions for my grip on Luna Maria's neck. I heard Alpha Nathaniel say something like 'don't dare on doing it' but I didn't listen to his warning. The two men in front of me moved back so I took the opportunity to teleport my body, first in front of Will punching him in the neck, then I enjoyed myself being in front of the asshole who got me on the hell itself, making me go insane. First I punched him on the nose, and when he bend his upper half for the pain and covering, his now broken nose, with his hands, I held him on the back of his neck so I made contact with my knee on his abdomen tree times. With my last gasp of strength, when he was bracing himself for the ache and groaning in pain, I gave him one last kick on the face leaving him knocked out.

Breathing, I made my way towards Luna Maria who was bracing Alpha Nathaniel, while Victor was giving his last speech about who was the winner and what meant to underestimate someone like me.

"Maria, I-I'm sorry. I really am, I only-"

I was interrupted when she hugged me and I muttered a sorry to his husband, who gave me a nod in response.

"Andrea! I thought you lost control completely!"

I furrowed my eyebrows, and then listened to Nathan.

"Don't scare us like this anymore, Andrea."

"Wait you're not angry at me for use her? Maria you're not angry?"

She looked at me with tearing eyes and shook her head.

"I knew that was your plan, but you caught me off guard. Also my mate knew. Remember Andy? We trust you."

I was feeling numb, nauseous and extremely weak but I managed to smile at my gratitude for them.

"C'mon. Come inside with us, now you can relax yourself and rest a bit. You did great."

I nodded at the man in front of me. With his wife holding my hand, but at the first step I couldn't anymore and I felt on the ground while I was immersing in a black and cold world.

"Andrea! Andrea! Please stay with us! Andrea!
