Avni: it's ok uncle I'm use to his anger problems since childhood.

Neil: and I have a valid reason to be   angry he said getting up and left from there

Shweta:avni what r u going to do now

Avni:even I don't know aunty but I'm not going to give up on kadhoos Neil khanna ... he will be angry but I'm sure soon he will forgive me.

Avni was pacing back and forth at the metha house as she went there for a bit.

Aladdin was watching her for the past 5mins

Aladdin: champ I'm getting dizzy Seen u walk back and forth.

Avni: so? What do u want me to do...I don't even know how to make Neil speak to me properly.

Aladdin: well think of something which he likes or dislikes if u want to get a reaction out of him

Avni: u think that will work?

Aladdin: there is no harm in trying he said shrugging his shoulders

Avni: thanks crackpot she said sitting next to him and gave him a side hug.

Aladdin: champ

Avni: hmmm

Aladdin: u still love him right...Avni sighed and sat straight

Avni: Haan.... I even told him that I still do but I won't let it effect our friendship as he is my best friend first.

Aladdin: what if one day u have to forget this love of yours?

Avni looked at Aladdin for a sec as even she didn't know what to answer him

Avni: I don't know crackpot but I don't want to think about that at all....but how comes u didn't tell me about Mithali

Aladdin: because your bestie had told everyone not to let U know ...just like how u made a decision...he made this decision too

Avni: ok I'm going to go and see Nanno and then think about my plan .

Aladdin: what's the plan?

Avni smiled naughtily and left to go and see Nanno

Avni had stayed at the metha mansion for few hours and spent time with her family and left around 5:30pm

Around 6:30 she reached to the khanna mansion

Avni: hi she said to Shweta and Bebe

Bebe: finally at least u came I was getting  bored with this Shweta

Avni laughed seen Shweta expression

Shweta : come on Bebe I'm not a bad company.

Avni: by the way Prakash uncle and Neil haven't  came yet

Shweta: Prakash ji should be coming in a bit and Neil would be coming later on

Bebe: haan so u go and freshen up and sunny will also be coming in a bit till then we will warm up the food

Avni nodded and went to her room taking the bag she had bought

Prakash  had come after few mins and Shweta sent him up to get him ready...after a while all sat for dinner Avni explained her plan.

Bebe: well we hope your plan works

Prakash: but is he even scared of it like before?...I mean it's Been too many years...Avni looked at Prakash

Shweta:  even we don't know as he kept things to himself after....but there is no harm in trying.

Bebe: Avni puttar u just go ahead with the plan don't worry

Avni nodded when she went to her room she called Vidyut

Vidyut: hey Avni

Avni: Vidyut when Neil leaves can u let me know ?

Vidyut: Avni I'm actually on a crime scene so I'm not sure if Neil has left yet

Avni: oh

Vidyut : but wait give me a sec I will find out for u

Avni: ok ...Avni sat on the bed waiting for Vidyut as she could hear him speak to someone on the other end

Vidyut: Neil left 10mins ago Avni

Avni: ok thanks a lot

Vidyut: what happened though? Since u r asking about him

Avni: basically I decided to scare Neil with a cockroach just like before...and since he is scared of it he won't remove it by himself and will ask someone for help but the only person to help would be me and with that I'll tell him that I will only remove it if he forgives me.

Vidyut: Avni your plan is great but the thing is....however Avni didn't let Vidyut complete

Avni: Vidyut i need to get ready as kadhoos Neil is on his way ok I'll speak to u later bye

Vidyut: Avni listen...but she cut the call

Vidyut : only if u knew that he isn't scared of cockroaches anymore thanks to his training days. I guess I should message Avni before she starts her plan

Avni was waiting near the stairs and saw Neil walk in after 10mins ...she quickly went to her room getting her container that had two cockroaches and went towards Neil room

Since the door was open she looked inside and heard the shower running.  She waited for it to stop and once it did she saw took it out of the container and placed the cockroaches on the bed and ran out of the room and leaned against the wall...after a min or so she heard the door open and peeped her head inside to see Neil drying his hair with the towel

Avni: now it will be fun once he sees the enemy of his life she mumbled to herself

Neil eyes landed on the bed when he saw the two big cockroaches wondering on his bed.

Avni: come on kadhoos Neil khanna scream your lungs out....however her eyes widened when she saw Neil lift the cocckraches and throw it out of the window.

Avni: u r not scared of them anymore she said shocked while walking into the room

Neil turned around when he heard Avni speak. He raised his eyebrows

Neil: what r u doing even my room?

Avni: first answer my question

Neil: that is none of your business.

Avni: of course it is ...if i had known u r not scared of cockroach I would have tried something else.

Neil: what! ...Avni realised what she said

Avni: I'm going to go now bye good night she said turning around and was about to leave

Neil: stop ...Avni stopped in her tracks

Avni felt Neil move towards her...she turned Around to see him walking towards her with a serious face

He stood in front of her with his arms crossed

Avni: what?

Neil: repeat what u said

Avni: what

Neil: stop playing and tell me what u said about the cockroach and about placing it in my room

Avni: I don't feel like repeating it. Neil rubbed his face getting annoyed

Neil: listen if u...but he couldn't continue as Avni spoke

Avni: if u think I'll listen to u then u r wrong and with that she ran from the room while Neil shook his head and closed the door.

Avni reached to her room and closed the door

Avni: urghh the plan failed and like a fool I blabbered that it was me who placed the cockroaches

She sat on her bed and looked at her phone casually when she finally saw Vidyut message she opened it to read it

Vidyut message: Avni Neil isn't scared of cockroaches anymore as his fear went away once he started his training so cancel this plan as there is no point I was trying to tell u this but u didn't listen and cut the call

Avni: ugh what a fool I am ...I should have listened to Vidyut ... suddenly she got a call and saw that it was Vidyut

Avni: sorry

Vidyut: huh ...sorry for what Avni

Avni: for not listening to u I just saw your message now

Vidyut: so u went ahead with the plan he said trying to stop his laughter 

Avni: laugh if u want she said annoyingly

Vidyut;. Ok sorry sorry what exactly happened though...Avni narrated everything

Avni: Vidyut it feels like this is not the same Neil

Vidyut: because he has changed Avni ...he isn't the same it would take some time right

Avni: hmm

Vidyut: look don't be disappointed we all will think of something together.

Avni: thanks ...sometimes when I speak to him it feels like I'm talking to a wall she said laughing a little.

Vidyut: dw even we feel like that sometimes but he our friend after all

Avni: yup

Vidyut: chal will see u at the engagement tomorrow till then don't stress

Avni: I won't I'll probably be out with Riya the whole day

Vidyut: ok see u soon bye

Avni: bye

Once she ended the call she made herself comfortable on the bed and slept after a while

The next day Avni got ready and came down to see Prakash and Neil already on the dining table

Prakash: good morning Avni beta

Avni: morning uncle.

Shweta: here is Bebe amazing sandwich

Bebe: and here is Shweta juice which she bought from the store she said laughing.

Neil: mom I seriously don't like it when anyone goes to my room without my permission and on top of that places cockroaches on the bed he said sipping his Juice not looking at avni

Shweta Bebe and Prakash looked at avni and then Neil.

Avni: aunty I never knew that we have to take permission to go into a friends room and I placed cockroaches just to see if someone is still scared of them or not she said looking at Neil who wasn't looking at her

Neil: things changed in few years so they don't remain the same

Avni: well some things don't change for everyone

Bebe: Avni puttar  u chose your outfit for the engagement she said speaking so avneil stop

Avni: haan Riya has something for me so will be going to try that on. U all r coming too right

Shweta: haan we all r too.

Avni: I'll leave now as I need to meet Riya in 30 mins

Prakash: beta will u come with Riya to the engagement or with us ?

Avni: with Riya uncle but on the way back I'll come with u guys

Bebe: ok puttar go now and have fun 

Time went quick and it was around 6pm Riya and Avni were at Juhi house as the engagement was going to take place there

Neil came with his family and Dd
and at the same time Vidyut came with his mom ragini who is friends with Shweta and Neela thanks to their kids while the metha  family were on their way...Ali came after few mins

Vidyut hugged Neil, Ali and also gave a side hug to Dd
While ragini was speaking to the khanna family

Juhi mum and dad greeted them while
Vidyut took their blessing and ragini hugged Juhi mum 

They were soon told to make themselves comfortable

Avni: im ready guys she said wearing her earrings ...she was wearing an lengha which was designed by Riya while she applied light makeup 

Riya saw Avni : wow babes u look amazing

Avni: thanks Riya.

Riya: babes just see if our family left or not

Avni: ok...she picked up her Phone to see she had no signal

Juhi: what happened not answering...she asked turning while Riya was doing Juhi hair

Avni: I haven't got signal I'll go out and call

Riya and Juhi nodded while Avni went out.

Avni stood near the stairs as she finally got signal and was speaking to Neela.

Dd casually turned when he looked up to  see Avni near the stairs who was busy speaking on the phone

Dd: arien sir jee that is your friend right she had come to the police station right

Neil Vidyut and Ali looked at Dd and then where he was pointing to see Avni busy talking on the phone

Ali: yaar sometimes I think this Avni and the Avni 3 years back r too different ppl...nobody would believe us if we told them that Avni was like a tomboy during college days.

Vidyut looked at Ali and then at Neil who was looking at avni as usual with a serious look

Ali: hey Avni ! He shouted

Avni looked down when she heard Ali voice and saw him with the boys...

Avni: 1 minute she said and continued with Neela.

Once done she went down.

Vidyut: someone is looking pretty he said giving her a side hug

Avni: thank u

Ali: I'm sure any guy that sees u will be flattered..

Avni decided to tease Neil indirectly

Avni. Hmm I guess so but only one guy is not looking at me...Ali and Dd knew who she was talking about and smiled a little

Dd: who Avni ji ...

Avni: someone who is here maybe who even works with u she said looking at Neil from the corner of her eyes

Dd: I only work with Neil sir and Vidyut sir...it can't be Vidyut sir since he is getting engaged to Juhi ji...oh I know who u r talking about Avni ji u r talking about Neil sir right? he said that last line a bit Loudly and excitingly

Neil: shut up Dd he said glaring at him.

Avni: Dd we will talk about this later since someone will scold u without any fault of yours. She said cheekily.
