Neil: I wish if you had stayed avni he said looking ahead as he rested his head against the wall

Avni: I wished too Neil but you know the reason...my head was messed up...all I wanted to do was get away at that time and sometimes I still feel the same  because everything keeps coming back be it what happened to my parents or between us she said the last bit quietly which he heard

Neil: I felt you would come back after some time but you never did...we thought you would call but you only contacted the metha family not us.... somewhere It felt as if you left our friendship on that piece of paper..I know you would never do that but it just felt like that

Avni: I didn't have the courage to contact you all after  I left neil and despite not been in touch with you all I still considered you all as my friends and a part of my life..do you know when I came back here i hardly went  near mumma and papa room because it has their feelings and I feel as if I enter then  those feelings will engulf me in such way that will weaken me even more... I still wish for them to come back neil whenever I blow the candles like a fool I make a wish of returning them to me she said as her voice cracked and tears rolled down her cheeks unable to control her tears

Neil's felt a pain in his heart...placing both their cups down he pulled her close to him wrapping his hands around her and avni head rested on his chest

Neil: it's ok avni it's ok calm down...they are watching over you and wouldnt be happy to see their daughter crying like this right...it wont hurt you only but them too he said trying to give her soothing words and kept placing kisses on top of her head

Avni: I wish if they jus...justt appear out of nowhere and shout su...surprise we are not going anywhere now...sometimes I wish if we can go back In time and make that incident dissapear from our life the night where we lost them she said as tears rolled down her cheeks

Neil: they are here avni...in our memories...they are in you...close your eyes and you will see them smiling happily

avni listened to neil and closed her eyes...she saw a happy ayesha turning towards her and blowing a kiss at her while ashish  came with birthday cake and both saying " happy birthday avni"

Avni: thank you mumma papa she said smiling as she forwarded her hand to touch them they vanished into thin air with a smile on their face

Avni opened her eyes realising it wasnt real but it felt real as if they actually had come she snuggled closee to neil as she held one of his hand as he caresseed her hair

Avni: it was my imagination yet it felt real neil she said in a low voice

Neil: then just think that way...cherish it...take it in a positive way and allow them to embrace your thoughts just like that

Avni looked up at neil and smiled

Avni: thank you...thank you so much she said as neil wiped the corner of her eyes that has tears

Neil: we dont need thank you between us chatterbox...remember that in this head of yours he said tapping her forehead

Avni: remembered she said feeling content...this was her neil...her bestfriend and still someome who she deeply loved

Neil: just be happy...that will make everyone around you happy because you are the life of everyone avni...the life of both families...you are the existence of both ayesha aunty and ashish  uncle

Avni: you know I'm happy that I came back...because I missed all this...I missed us...i missed you...I missed everyone she said as she randomly placed her head on his lap surprising neil for a second but a smile landed on his face

Neil: and I'm happy to see that we are become like how we were around each other....we are almost there he said as he held one of her hand which avni smiled looking at

Avni then turned her back to him as she looked ahead still holding his hand while neil didnt complaint with her side face view

Avni: this feels beautiful na...so peaceful...nothing to worry about

Neil: yess it does...especially when we have the best company

Avni: you know I missed these late nights with you when I was In london she said

Neil: not only you but even I did..everything just felt so different without you..its was like you was the soul of our existence

Avni smiled

Avni: see how important and special I am she said playfully

Neil: dont get too high with the praises he said looking at her earning a chuckle

Neil then looked at the sky followed by avni..both staying in silence  enjoying the view and each others presence

After 15 minutes or so

neil started to caress  avni hand as he continued to look up

neil: life was so strange avni here I thought I only loved you as a friend but it took me so long to realise that I had always loved you more than a friend and still love you...I'm sorry for giving you pain always but I love you chatterbox I love you more than anything he said with tears in his eyes

Neil closed his eyes with a smile spreading his face

Neil: I know I took so long to realise but I have realised what you actually mean to me...all I want to do is give you all the happiness and love you deserve...I know you wouldnt have expected me to say all this now but I feel this day is special to let you know My true feelings. I love you avni I seriously do I love you as a friend but I also love you as a lover... I love you the way a man loves his women and I want to do everything as a husband for you...

Sensing no reply for avni he frowned and looked down at her to see her eyes closed as she slept peacefully on his lap as she held on to one of his hand

Neil smacked his forehead and smiled

Neil: here I thought you was listening and probably was shocked to react but no my chatterbox is busy sleeping...but no worries tomorrow I will tell you the same thing again and I will Make sure that you are wide awake and listening to me...understood he said looking at a sleeping avni and pinched her nose slightly making her stir

Neil  got the duvet that he had kept on side when they had come out to sit and with one hand he unwrapped it and covered avni with it
Others may think he would be uncomfortable in a sitting position with avni head resting on his lap but in reality it gave him happiness and satisfaction...he lifted their intertwined hands and kissed her knuckles as his other hand caressed her hair

Placing a cushion behind him he  contined caressing avnis hair and soon closed his eyes to fall asleep peacefully

The next morning

Neil's phone suddenly started to ring startling him from sleep...he opened his eyes when the ring started to become clear and his eyes landed on a sleeping avni making him instantly grab his phone and answer as it was dd

After a while

Neil: ok dd I'll be there soon...bye he said ending the call

He looked at avni and stroked her hair

He gently lifted her head up and moved away...sitting on his knees he scooped avni up in his arm carefully praying that she doesn't wake up

Once reaching inside he placed her gently on the bed and covered her with a duvet and went to have a shower

After 10 mins neil came out and walked to the dressing table as he brushed his hair and applied some cologne...once getting his wallet, watch and phone he walked over to avni and Sat next to her watching her sleep peacefully

Neil : I had planned to tell you my feelings once you wake up but I wont be able to do that due to duty but I promise once I am free the first thing I plan to do is tell you...take care chatterbox your neil loves you very much..... he said poking her cheeks slowly

Picking up a note pad neil wrote a message for avni so that she knows he has gone to the police station   and that a driver will be downstairs waiting for her
He placed it on top of her phone and tucking a strand of hair behind her ears he got up and left

An hour later

avni  had changed into her previous day clothes and placed  Neil's clothes in the laundry basket that she wore ...making sure the door is locked she left the condo and told the driver to take her to khanna mansion

Once she reached to khanna mansion she was greeted by bebe and shweta

Shweta: avni beta you came alone?

Avni: haan maa neil had to leave to go to the police station

Shweta: theek hai phir do one thing freshen up and I'll make you breakfast quickly she said to which avni nodded

After some time avni came down with her handbag and phone and sat down at the dining table

Bebe: puttar what  did you and Neil do last night

Avni: he gave some gifts we were  talking a bit about time past  she said and smiled recalling the time she and neil: spent which actually was special for her

Shweta: we were thinking that you both will be back late but neil messaged saying you are spending the night at the condo

Avni: haan maa..i was the one to request him and I'm glad we spent that night there it felt different...it felt like I was actually with my bestfriend without any worry without any tension  she said smiling

Once avni finished breakfast she left to go the orphanage

Shweta: avni puttar wait wait she said running towards avni who was about to get in the car

Avni: what happened maa?

Shweta: your tiffin

Avni: shwetsi what was the need for this

Shweta: chup kar...its my rights to give you your tiffin have your lunch on fine and also give some to sahil

Avni smiled and hugged shweta and soon left to head to the orphanage 

Meanwhile at the police station once neil and vidyut had taken a break from their integration with a criminal they both headed to the cabin

Vidyut : so? He said sitting opposite neil who was rubbing his forehead

Neil: what so?

Vidyut: did you confess to avni ? He asked resting his elbows on the table

Neil opened his eyes and sat straight

Neil : I did he said looking at vidyut with a small smile

Vidyut: and? Do I need to send you an invitation so you can tell me what happend

Neil chuckled

Neil: nothing happened as avni was fast asleep so when I confessed there was nobody to hear me except myself he said

Vidyut: so now what? You wont open up your feelings towards her?

Neil: I will... I had planned to tell her in the morning she Wakes up but then I got dd call...but I do plan to tell her later on today when I got the orphanage to pick her up.

Vidyut: wont sahil be there?

Neil: sahil is not any of my concern vidyut..what matters to me is avni bas once I finish over here I'll go to the orphanage straight away he said

Suddenly dd came to their cabin

Dd: sir raghu is ready to confess  he said making neil and vidyut stand up and head toways the area where the criminal was kept

Vidyut: looks like its confession day for everyone today he said earning a chuckle from neil who smacked him on the arm playfully

Precrap:
Neil smiled as he walked with the bouquet of Roses in his hand to give avni

He was nervous yet excited as he was going to tell her his feelings

As his steps reached towards the orphanage door he halted seen the scene in front of him

Sahil: I know all you wanted was love which you never got but I always loved you...I may not be able to take your pain away but I will try my best to make it better...I wanted to tell u this for a long time but I couldnt...u know what it feels like when love is one sided right...u know the pain so y cant I get one chance ? Y ?... u said this relation is like u have been forced into it right then try to get out of it once and allow me to help u heal with time. I promise I wont hurt you like he did...please give me a chance please   Sahil said  as he was on his knees  in front of avni .

Neil felt anger overcoming him he was about to take a step forward when he saw avni kneeling down and hugged sahil

Avni:I'm tired of this relation, all this pretence in front of everyone...I never knew you love me that much and I'm sorry for making u feel that way as i can very well understand the pain...but u made me realise that there is no point of staying in a relation like this...I love him but I know we can never be one... I dont know if I will ever love u becuase I still love him and u know that ... but all I know is that I'm tired and I know u wont hurt me like he did

Sahil: u dont know how happy I am...the relief I feel hearing u say this...thank you for giving me a chance thank you so much....I promise I will do everything to make it work and will never disappoint you he Said hugging her tightly

Neil felt a pain in his chest hearing avni say this...he saw how avni hugged sahil...the bouquet of Roses slowly slipped out of his hands falling onto the floor
