Okay guyz! Its been 14 days since my last update. And the much awaited AdiZa day finally came on 7th of february dude!!! Happy times ahead!!

And yes.. I am extremely sorry.. I know yu ppl wud thrash me black and blue for makin u wait😂😂 BUT honestly peeps.. SORRY!
I was badly stuck with over times and assessments. After being back from work, all I could think was SLEEP! Even tomorrow I have an exam nd I even went to office today...on a bloody SUNDAY!😭😭😭😓Haalat bahot kharab hai yaar!
Maaf kar do! I'm giving you an update today to compensate..

Zain: Happy Birthday...

Aditi felt her tremble while her flowing tears adorned her plush pink lips with bead like drops. She didn't dare to turn back and look at him for she feared she could never gather enough words to express herself right then.

Zain: Aditi.. Bahot hurt kiya na maine tumhe? (I hurt you a lot right?) Sorry but I just wanted to give a surprise. So I thought I would play around with you.

Aditi(struggled to hold back her tears): Hmm...

Zain: Adi..

Aditi: Hmm..

Zain: Are you that angry that you don't want to see my face anymore?

Aditi turned back at once to gaze into those perfect hazel orbs. She hugged him with all her might clinging on to him like a baby. Lost in her emotions, she placed a deep kiss on his neckline sending shivers down his spine. He stumbled backwards and hit his back onto the wall. He could hear her talking in whispers.

Aditi: Sorry.... and Thank you. 

She continued with her 'Thank you's while nuzzling him down his earlobe. He slowly closed his eyes. He unknowingly coiled his arms around her waist line and back caressing her up and down. She put her entire weight on him letting him handle her. He massaged her waist line earning a gasp from her. She arched her body backwards breathing heavily. He pulled her closer not letting her leave. He placed an open mouthed kiss next to her lips while she gulped down her hitched breathe. She raised her gaze to look at him. His eyes could penetrate into her soul. 

Aditi: I'm sorry.. I just got lost... I 'm...

Zain(kept his finger on her lips): Ssshh... 

He moved closer cupping her face lovingly. He slid his nose upwards on her nose and pressed his lips on her forehead. She clenched her fists on to his collars and let a tear flow down her eyes.

Aditi: I love you..

Zain: Aditi.. Adi.. You hear me? Talk to me yaar. I said sorry na? Please. Adi? Arey baba where are you lost?

Aditi suddenly broke out of her reverie. She just realized that all that was a dream. A pleasant- beautiful- scintillating dream. She bore her gaze into the person in front of her who made her go through all those emotions which she thought she could never experience again. What was he doing with her? What did she just think right now? She gave him her most genuine smile and mouthed a "Thank you", hugging him to her dear life. He happily hugged her back relieved that she was happy. They were still in the embrace and she started talking.

Aditi: Zain...

Zain(hugged her closer): Hmm?

Aditi: Kaise kiya ye sab? (How did you do all this?)

Zain: Why do you want to know?

Aditi: So that I can love you more.

Zain: Oh! So.. You don't love me that much now. Right?

Aditi: Stop twisting my words and tell me please.

Zain: Okay.. Sending those gifts from different addresses were the first thing. Then, I made that spot boy to click your pic with donuts. I clicked the picture with that dress when you were busy adoring it. And the last in the car, I managed to click the pic since you were so miffed that you were not even looking at me. I sent those to Abhishek. He took print outs and pinned it up here. Rest all decorations, I did it in morning itself. I had ordered the cake too. Abhi picked it up and brought here. Bas.. That's it! 

Aditi: And that FM call?

Zain: I had sent that message to FM when we stopped at the petrol pump on our way.

Aditi: I was pissed off that you..

Zain: didn't wish you. Right? You felt bad?

Aditi: Very much. 

Zain: Good. So I mean something to you. 

Aditi: Of course you do!

Aditi slowly tried to pull out of the hug. But he pulled her closer and cuddled her.

Zain(whispered): Don't go please. I struggled to keep myself away from you today. Ab tho math jao..(Now please don't go)

She stood still while he held her protectively in his warm embrace. 

Zain: Shall we cut the cake?

Aditi(smiled): Hmm. Okay Mister Sweet tooth!

Zain giggled and made her face the beautifully crafted cake. He motioned her to go ahead. She nodded and blew of the candles while he merrily sang the infamous 'Happy Birthday' song. Such a terrible singer he was! She cut the chocolate flavored cake neatly and fed him the first piece. He fed her back too wishing all the world's happiness for her. He smeared her cute nose with cake while she ran to the washroom to clean up her face. When she came back, he was setting up the table with scented candles and glass plates. 

Aditi: Are we gonna have dinner again?

Zain: Precisely yes. Just a little. 

Aditi: I am gonna put up so much weight just on this day. Dare if you comment on that in IVs from now!

Zain(laughed): I will think about that. Now, will you do something for me?

Aditi: Yes?

Zain: Can you wear that dress and come?

Aditi: Which you gifted me?

Zain: Yes.

Aditi: Now?

Zain: Yes.

Aditi: Kyun? (Why?)

Zain(shrugged his shoulders): I felt like seeing you in that.

Aditi(smiled): Just give me 2 minutes.

She shuffled through the big bag of gifts which she got that day and found the dress. She went over to change and came back looking as pretty as ever.

Aditi: I loved it dude!

Zain(lost in her): I loved it more.

Aditi: Really!? This has the exact fitting. How?

Zain(winked): C'mon! On screen hi sahi, itna romance kiya hai tumhare saath. I am well versed with your structure baby.(Even though its onscreen, I have romanced you a lot)

Aditi(popped her eyes out): Haww!! Besharam! (Shameless)

She threw a cushion at him. He laughed aloud at her shocked face. 

Aditi(gave an impossible look): Pagal insaan (crazy man)

They sat down to eat. He gestured her to open the lid of the curry bowl in front of her.  She lifted the lid and gleamed in happiness.

Aditi: Matar Paneer!!!!!

Zain: Your favorite...

She hurriedly served herself with the curry and a roti. 

Aditi: No matter how much I have eaten, I will always have space for this. You clever man! You are gonna make me put on much! 

He chuckled waiting for her to taste the food. She shoved the first morsel into her mouth and closed her eyes in contentment. But then, she suddenly shot her eyes open.

Aditi: Marwari style me? Kaha se order kiya tumne yeh?(Where did you order this from?)

Zain: Yahan se(From here)

He pointed to his own hands while she gasped in shock. She refused to blink her eyes for a moment. 

Aditi: What? YOU made this?

Zain: I can cook lady. You know that.

Aditi: But thats different. Making this.. I mean.. its exactly tastes like how my mom makes it. Typical Marwari flavored..

Zain: Obviously. I made it under her instructions.

Aditi: HAIN?

Zain: She instructed me on call today morning when I asked her about the recipe. 

Aditi felt flabbergasted at this man. Like.. Really? How can someone be so thoughtful? No one has cared about her happiness like he does. Aditi felt a gush of tears streaming down her cheeks. Zain was instantly beside her wiping away her tears and signalling her to eat. She contently ate the food praising the food again and again. She fed him with her own hands and wiped away the curry smeared at the corner of his mouth. They then cleared the plates and sat down on the couch in front of the TV with a thud. 

Aditi: Bahot ho gaya yaar! (Its too much yaar) I am surprised at the number of surprises.

Zain: One more. Last Time.

Aditi: I am IN!

He laughed and made a video call to someone on his phone. He had plugged in his ear phones and she could hear him saying "Okay. I will make you see her as promised. Come on". He pulled out the earphones and made Aditi face the camera on call. A cute little munchkin smiled showing her baby teeth blowing away flying kisses from her tiny lips.

Aditi(gleamed in happiness): Inaaayyuu!!!

Inaya: Avni...!! Chachu.. (Uncle)

Zain: Batao Inayu ye kaun hai? (Tell me Inayu, who is this?)

Inaya: Avni...

Zain: Acha Avni hai. Avni ka asli naam batao. (Okay. Its Avni. Tell me what is her real name?)

Inaya: Asli.. naam.. Adu.. (Real name..Adu)

Aditi: Adu!!??

Zain(smiled): Tho Adu ki happy bday hai na? (So, its Adu's happy bday right?) 

Inaya: Haa (yes)

Zain: Tho Adu se kya kahoge aap? (So what will you say to Adu?)

Inaya: Happy birthday to you.. happy bday to you.. happy bday to Adu.. happy day to you!

Zain, Aditi along with the family members present in the video call clapped aloud with cheers.

Aditi: Inayu tho singer nikli!! wah wah! Thaankyou Inayu!! Adu loves you.. mmuwwahh! (Inayu is a singer)

Zain: Aap kissi do Adu ko.. (Give a kiss to Adu)

Inaya then planted a soft kiss on the screen earning a laugh from everyone. 

Aditi: Yipee! Inayu ne Adu ko kissi de di! (Inayu gave a kiss to Adu)

Zain: Chachu ko kissi nahi dogi? (Won't you give a kiss to Chachu?)

Inaya ran and gave the same screen peck for her lovely Chachu too. He giggled at his adorable niece. He and Aditi gave her flying kisses too. It was then Inaya made that huge demand.

Inaya: Chachu.. Adu ko happy bday kaha? (Did you say happy bday to Adu?)

Zain: Yes baby.

Inaya: Adu ko kissi diya? (Did you give kiss to Adu?)

Zain: Kya? (WHAT?)

Aditi broke into fits of laughters throwing her head back. She laughed uncontrollably at Zain's shocked face.

Aditi: Chachu ki watt laga di! Such an adorb she is! (She trapped Chachu)

Inaya was determined at her demand. Her mom told her sternly to cut the call. But she was at the verge of tears which both Zain and Aditi couldn't tolerate. 

Zain: Doonga main kissi Adu ko. Ye dekho.. (I will give kiss to Adu. See here)

She lifted her cute teary eyes to look at the screen while Zain pressed his lips on Aditi's heated up cheeks. She couldn't help but blush at what he did to pacify Inayu. Inayu clapped her hands cheerfully and ran off with her barbie doll to play. Zain's bhabhi took over the call and giggled at the scene.

Bhabhi: Inayu always makes things easy for you. Chachu ki chamchi! (Chachu's loyal assistant)

Zain: C'mon bhabhi. Please!

Bhabhi: Hahaha. Ok ok! Hi Aditi.

Aditi: Hi Bhabhi!

Bhabhi: Many more happy returns of the day dear..

Aditi: Thank you so much! 

Bhabhi: Are you both done for the day? Got all the gifts and surprises?

Aditi: You knew it?

Zain: She is my official secret keeper baby doll! 

Bhabhi: Oye! Don't butter me. He just asked me my opinion about the dress Aditi. And then I made him spill out all his plans. Secret keeper my foot! Naughty boy..

Zain chuckled and hung up the call after a few minutes. He then looked at Aditi who rested her head on his shoulders.

Zain: Tum khush ho na? (You are happy right?)

Aditi: First class ACP Saab!

Zain: You want to tell me something?

Aditi: Thank you would be very small word. But I have to tell you that... You are the best thing that had ever happened to me Zain. You are my best friend!

Zain smiled widely and pulled her closer on to his chest patting her hair. Aditi snuggled closer to h im self-introspecting her stupid dream some time ago. He meant a lot to her. Really a lot. That sudden swish of emotions must have caused her brain and heart to collide giving her those thoughts. No Aditi. He is your friend. Don't you think he deserves someone better? And you will find a girl for him. For now just enjoy your life for he has made it much more worthy to live.

Zain: You can sleep here Adi. We have an afternoon call tomorrow. 

Aditi: Hmm. I will sleep in Abhi's room. He has gone to US na?

Zain: How do you know?

Aditi: He is my neighbor too. He told me some days ago. He must have rushed to airport after helping you out with this. 

Zain: Yea...

This girl had now become a part and parcel of his life. He wanted the universe to shower its blessings on her. He had never done such surprise stuff for anyone before. He remembered his Bhabhi's teasing wink on the call which he cleverly avoided. She was not just a co-star. Not just a friend. But then, he was too scared or may be too unsure to admit that she was something more. Nevertheless, he had decided to brush off these stupid questions and instead enjoy the time with her. Thinking too much was clearly not his cup of tea.

Zain: Adi..

Aditi: Hmm?

Zain: Kuch nahi.. (Nothing)

Phew! Bloody hell! That was too long I guess..  took a lot of time. Okay guyz! Not sure when will I turn up with next one. Would try to make it fast. Thanks a lot for your patience. Hope you are loving it. Do leave you comments and opinions.
