Let's begin...

It's been six months that avni had started this mission Neil and juhi milao...

Now juhi and neil were good friends.

They would hang out together and enjoy on each other's company.

Avni tries to distance herself from neil but Neil never lets her go.

He make either this or that excuse to make her stay with him.

Avni would be hurt seeing juhi with Neil but the thing is she cannot back out this was the matter of her best friend's life...

Like this they reached in their final year of college it's been one year of Neil and juhi were friends.

This final year was the career determining year for them...

Avni had applied for course in London... (Secretly coz Neil would not have allowed her to do so)

There were two reasons for it, one, she cannot stand neil with juhi or anyone else... And second she wants to give her life a try. She wanted to be independent.

Neil would be joining khanna industries after his exams and juhi... (Bhaadh mein jaaye i don't care what she do 😒)

Each day avni would write feelings in her dairy.

She would smile, laugh, cry recalling her golden moments with Neil.

Those few months too went by...

Now it was about one and a half years of avni trying to get Neil and juhi close.

Aaj shayad mujhe waqt na mile tumhe apna dil batane ka isi liye subah subah hi aagyi tumhare paas...

Aaj main apne is 1.5 saal kar har ek pal jeena chahti hoon... Tumhare saath baant ke...

Aaj se... Poora ek saal paanch mahine chaar din nau(9) ghante pehle mere Neil uhh! Correction... Neil khanna ne mujhse kaha tha ki woh kisi se pyaar karta hai... And come on trust me yeh woh movies wala nahi tha... Ki hero ne kaha main kisi se pyaar karta hoon aur phir heroine ko le ja ke mirror ke saamne khada kar diya... Aur kaha ki tumse pyaar karta hoon... Is real life mein yeh sab kaha naseeb mein.... yaha to maange pe maut nahi milti mohabbat kya cheez hai? (Chuckles) Neil se doori karne ka faisla Maine kiya tha par sab se zyada dard mujhe hi hua... Kaise bhool gyi ki neil mujhe kabhi door nahi jaane dega phir chaahe kuch bhi ho jaaye... Main har pal neil ko us chuhi ke saath dekh ke marti thi... Pata hai Diary, maine aaj tak maa ko bhi nahi bataya... Anyways aaj humari farewell hai aur main aur kuch nahi seh sakti isiliye aaj main neil ki zindagi se hamesha hamesha ke liye door jaa rahi hoon.... Par jaane se pehle ek baar dil ki baatein zarur kahungi Neil se....

She continues writing...

Other side Neil was standing in a towel around his waist he was having two outfits in his hands.

One was a formal suit and other was a plain white t-shirt with jeans and a leather jacket.

Neil: umm... Yeh pehnu yaan yeh?

He recalls someone.

Girl: Neil please tum yehi pehan ke aana okay... (Handing him a leather jacket)

Neil smiles

Neil: ab meri bestie ne kaha hai to mujhe to maan na hi padega na...

He smiled looking at the outfit.

He got ready.

He was setting his hair just then Prakash enters.

He went to Neil

Neil turned back.

Neil: Arrey dad aap kab aaye?

Prakash: abhi abhi... (Looking at the formal suit laying on the bed)
Neil Tu to yeh pehan ne wala tha na... Phir yeh casual kyu?

Neil: Dad woh juhi ne select kiya tha aur yeh avi ne... Ab jo woh kahegi main to wahi karunga na..

Prakash smiles at his son.

Prakash: aaj juhi ko shaadi ke liye puchne wala hai par jo maine tujhe kaha tha uska bhi khyaal rakhna beta aaj ki ek galti kayi zindgiyon ko barbaad kar sakti hai...

Neil: dad avi sirf meri best friend hai okay... Aur main jo karne jaa raha hoon woh sahi hai jab main pyaar juhi se karta hoon to...

Prakash: (sighs) tujhe samjhana asambhav hai... Let's hope for the best. Chal ready ho ja..

Neil smiles and Prakash left.

After some time Neil too leaves for the venue.

Avni's outfit

Avni too reached the venue.

Neil was standing outside the hall waiting for her.

When avni came he was lost in her.

Avni carried a bouquet which had white, yellow, pink and red roses. These roses were signifying all the stages of friendship.

Neil: avi my god! Yaar aaj to itni sundar lag rahi hai...

Avni smiled a bit.

Neil: (looked at the bouquet) yeh kis ke liye?

Avni: tumhare liye...

She extended her hand to give the bouquet to him.

Neil was about to take it from her hands when she said...

Avni: I love you... (Looking into his eyes)

Neil stood shocked..

Neil: (recovering) ky...kya kaha?

Avni came out of the trance.

Avni: woh aisa juhi ko kehna yeh bouquet main uske liye laayi hoon na aur aaj to tum usse shaadi ke liye puchne wale ho to phool to hone chahiye na... (Smiling)

Neil: (smiling) oh thanks (taking the flowers)

Avni: (smiles weakly) ab jaldi jao... Isse pehle juhi chali jaaye...

Neil: oh haan (he turns to go)

Avni stood at her place looking at his retreating figure.

She wanted to hug Neil for one last time but may be the stars don't agree to it too...

She was about to turn suddenly Neil came back running.

Avni was confused..

Neil just hugged her tight. Avni was startled with his move...

Neil: pata nahi agar Tum na hoti to mera kya hota...

He kissed her cheek.

Avni was frozen.

Neil smiled widely and went away.

Avni stroked her cheek lightly and tears rolled down her eyes.

Avni's POV

Oh to aaj sari kayenaat mil ke mera mazaak uda rahi hai... (Chuckles) jisse jitna door jana chaahun utna hi paas laake patak rahi hai mujhe .... par main bhi haar maan ne wali nahi... Peeche nhi mudhna mujhe...

POV ends.

Avni walked away towards her car.

She didn't even realised when Her sling bag fell open on the ground.

She was still in her trance.

She picked half of the things and left other half there only.

She sat in the car and went away.

Neil reached inside the hall his eyes were searching juhi...

He saw that she was standing with some of her friends near the bar counter.

He walked to her when he heard her friend saying...

Girl 1: kya juhi Neil... Kitna shareef hai aur bhola sa hai he's not your type.

Girl 2: haan yaar aur mujhe to lagta hai ki agar kabhi tumhare shaadi ho gyi na TV serial ki bahu wali zindagi ho gi teri...

They started laughing.

Juhi: oh come on yaar tumhe meri shakal dekh ke lagta hai ki main uske family mein rehne wali hoon... Arrey mujhe to dad ne kaha Neil ke saath rehne ko just because of his deal... Aur waise bhi agar shadi ho bhi gyi... Main Neil ko le ke alag hone wali hoon... And as long as uske paas paisa hai I'm fine with it...

Girl 3: aur waise bhi woh to tujhpe lattu hai hi...

All burst out laughing again.

Neil heard all this.

He recalled something.

Flashback:-

Neil: Ali yaar yeh sach nahi ho sakta... I mean main aur juhi pyaar karte hai ek dusre se...

Ali: Tu chahe maan ya na sach yeh hai ki juhi ko sirf teri property Aur paise se pyaar hai... Asli pyaar kya hota hai yeh aaj tak tu samajh hi nahi paya hai Neil.. Mere bhai waqt hai abhi bhi sambhal ja...

Neil left that place without saying anything

Neil had heard all this. Juhi turned and saw Neil...

Juhi: Neil baby... Inse milo yeh hai mere friends... Guys yeh hai Neil mera Neil khanna... And we love each other... (Smiling)

Neil: (coldly) I don't love you...

Juhi: (frowns) matlab? Nei... Neil tumne...

Neil: I just hate double standard people... Aur tum to un sab mein sab se upar ho...

Juhi was taken aback.

Neil: Ms juhi shayad main kabhi tumse pyaar karta hi nahi tha... Kyu ki tumne nahi kiya... Saccha pyaar do tarafa hota hai aur shayad yeh to ek taraf ka bhi nahi nikala... I'm done with you and (pointing index finger at her) I'll make sure ki Arora industry ke saath khanna company ki koi deal nahi hogi...

He left from there.

He still had those Flowers in his hand.

He reached outside to find avni but she was already gone...

He wanted to try her phone...

He was just about to call her when someone called him from behind.

Boy: sahab... Sahab...

Neil turns.

Boy: accha hua aap mil gye. Yeh lijiye... (Handing him a book)

Neil: (frowns) meri nahi hai yeh...

Boy: sahab aapki nahi woh jo madam ji aapke saath thi na.. Arrey jinhone aapko yeh phool diye unke bag se giri.. Maine dekha to madam ji ko awaz bhi lagayi par unhone suna nai aur chali gyi... Maine yeh rakhi thi socha jab aap aate ho aapko de deta hoon...

Neil: avni ki... Accha shukriya... (Smiles)

Boy: chalta hoon sahab...

He went away.

Neil looked at the dairy...

Neil: (thinking) yeh avni ko ho kya gya hai? Pata nahin kaha khoyi rehti hai... Aur yeh diary...

Suddenly the diary slipped from his hands and fell open on the ground.

Some photos fell upside down from it...

The diary opened at a specific page where the Photos were kept as a bookmark.

He frowns and bends down to pick it...

When he saw the photos ... he was shocked!

Neil was more than shocked seeing his pics in avni's diary.

He saw the page of diary wich was left open.

He began to read it...

This will start from the line where avni left.

Par jaane se pehle ek baar dil ki baatein zarur kahungi Neil se... Aur woh bhi aaj hi... Maine uske liye ek bouquet bhi kharida hai... Woh bouquet main white, yellow, pink and red saare roses honge...

White rose hamari pehli mulaqaat ke liye... Jaanti hoon ki tab hum bacche the par jab jago tabhi sawera hota hai kya farak padega agar main ab deti hoon pehli mulaqaat ka tohfa...

Yellow rose, friends ban ne ke liye... Aaj bhi mujhe kindergarten yaad hai jaha usne pehli baar aake mujhe hello bola tha aur pucha tha apni totli awaz mein "tya main yaha baith satta hoon?" (Kya main yaha baith sakta hoon?) Yeh uske liye...

Pink rose, best friend ban ne ke liye... Fifth class last bench lunch time main sad thi papa ke jaane ki wajah se.. Tab Neil aya aur mere kandhe pe haath rakh ke bola tha "avi please apne best friend ke saamne rougi to best friend bhi ro dega na aur boys nahi rote is liye mujhe mat rulao aur dekho main tumhare liye kya laya hoon" Kya laya tha? Poha!

Aur red rose, dene ka haq to nahi hai mujhe par mera pyaar itna kamzor bhi nahi ki apne jazbaat na bol sake... Yeh red roses mera hero ban ne ke liye... Jis pal mujhe meri zindagi bikharti lagi Neil ne mujhe aa ke sambhala... Aaj bhi yaad hai mujhe woh raat... Mera sab kuch chhin jata agar Neil na hota to...

Aaj kehne to jaa rahi hoon par usse kabhi keh nahi paungi...

Neil's eyes had tears in them reading all this.

He recalls avni giving him bouquet and saying "I love you". He looks at the bouquet

Neil: (thinking) avi mujhse pyaar karti thi... Mujhe kaise pata nahi chala... Mere liye woh sab kuch karti thi aur main....

He wipes his tears and continues reading.

Aur waise bhi aaj to woh us chuhiya ko propose karne jaa raha hai... Kaise dekhu Neil ko kisi aur ka hote huye... Isiliye main usse hamesha ke liye chhod ke jaa rahi hoon... Main ummeed karti hoon ki Neil ki zindagi mein sirf khushiyaan ho.. Uske saare gham saare dukh mere hisse likh dena bhagwaan ji...

Aur diary tum yeh baatein kabhi kisi se kehna mat okay?

Goodbye Neil and India...

Neil's tears now flowed down his cheeks.

He recalls each and every moment spent with avni right from their childhood till today afternoon. He recalls what prakash had once told him.

Flashback:-

Prakash: beta Neil pyaar ek jhatke mein nahi hota saalo saal lag jaate hai dilon ko ek dusre mein dalne ke liye... Agar tujhe kabhi bhi saccha pyaar dekhna ho na to apni aankhein band karke jo insaan dikhega wohi ishq hoga tera...

Neil shuts his eyes he saw avni smiling.

Neil: iska matlab main bhi avni se pyaar karta hoon... Damn it! Maine kya kiya... Khota hoon main ek dam... Lekin meri avni hogi kaha is waqt? He reads the last line again... "Goodbye Neil and India"... Iska matlab woh India chhod ke jaa rahi hai par kaha? He ruffled his hair thinking... Haan airport jaake pata chal jaayega.. Haan ....

he hurriedly left in his car.

On the other hand avni was going through the formalities at the airport.

Neil reaches there. He looks here and there. He spots avni at some distance. He called out her name... He was about to go in when the guards stopped him.

Gaurd: aap andar nahi jaa sakte...

Neil: Arrey kyu nahi jaa sakta... Dekhiye please meri baat samajhiye mera andar jana zaruri hai zindagi ka sawal hai yaar please jaane de na...

Gaurd: sorry sir aap nahi jaa sakte hai...

Neil: dekh bhai ek baat bata tumne kabhi kisi se pyaar kiya hai?

Gaurd: nahi...

Neil: tabhi to Tu bouncer hai... Mera matlab dekho yaar meri jaan andar jaa rahi hai agar maine usse nahi roka na to barbaad ho jaayega sab kuch please mujhe jaane de... I swear... Uske baad jo tum saza doge main le lunga bas ek baar jaane do...

He left without letting him say anything.

He rushed inside and found avni was in waiting hall.

He reaches there.

Neil: avni...

Avni was shocked seeing him there...

Avni: Neil tum yaha... Kya kar rahe ho?

(Looking here and there since her eyes we're completely swollen due to constant crying)

Neil: yeh sawal mujhe tumse puch na chahiye... Kaha jaa rahi ho tum?

Avni: main kahi bhi jau Tumhe kya? Kya hi farak padta hai?

Neil: mujhe bohut kuch hai ... Bohut farak padta hai mujhe...

Avni: Neil dekho tumhe juhi ke saath hona chahiye apne pyaar ke saath... Yaha nahi.. Please chale jao yaha se...

Neil: (smiles and sighs) to uske saath hi to hoon...

Avni: matlab?

Neil: mera pyaar (holding her hand)

Avni: Neil please jaao yaha se...(trying to get her hand back)

Neil: (a bit loudly) oh to tum nahi aaogi mere saath?

Few people who were sitting around looked at them.

Avni looked around and bowed down...

Avni: Neil kya kar rahe ho? Itna zor se...

Neil was holding her hand...

Neil: baat kar raha hoon...

Avni: Neil dekho mera haath chhodo... Sab dekh rahe hai...

A lady from the crowd came up.

Lady: aye ladke tum usko kyu tang karta hai?

Another man coming up

Man: oh haanji kudi ko kalli dekh ke tang karne aaya hai?

Neil: kya!? Arrey nahi aunty,

(his expression changes with a mischievous smile he went to the lady. He looked down and rubbed his eyes as if he was crying)

Neil: (fake crying) aunty accha hua aap log aa gye... (Avni was looking at him confused) uncle ji ab main ki dassa apko? (Holding his hand) yeh kalli kudi na meri vauti hai... Biwi hai meri... Jo mujhe chhod ke jaa rahi hai..

Avni: (eyes widen) kya!? Main iski biwi nahi hoon (Shocked)

Man: oye sacchi bolda?

Neil: aapki kasam kha ke sardar ji... Yeh meri biwi hai jo mujhse rooth ke jaa rahi hai...

Lady: par hum kaisa maante?

Neil: photo dikha deta hoon... Saache ishq ko hamesha hi saboot dena padta hai... (Dramatically faking tears) yeh dekho...

He showed them this..

Avni was shocked!!

Neil smirks seeing her reaction.

Neil: (continuing his drama) ek dekh ke yakin nahi hua hoga aur dikhata hoon... (He swipes)

Man: oh Tu to saccha hai...

Lady: (to avni) tum kyu isse gussa karta?

Avni stood numb not able to react..

Neil: aunty ji main batata hoon... Dar asal mein na maine kal isse kaha ki tum maayke chali jao... Kyu ki kitni der se gyi nahi... To mujh pe bhadak gyi... Kehti ki ab main pyaar nahi karta isko... (Fake cry)

Lady: dekho kanna chota chota baat mein aisa nai ladta... Ghar barbaad hote hai...

Neil: Arrey ghar to ghar aunty ji isne to humare bunty aur bubbly ke baare mein bhi nai socha... (Drama)

Avni: hello kon bunty bubbly..?

Neil: uncle ji dekho isko hamare bacche bhi yaad nahi... (To avni) Arrey hamare chote chote judwa bacche itne pyaare hai... Yaad karo...

Avni: dekho Neil... (Warning tone)

Lady: kanna aisa pareshaan nahi karta theek haina ab tum apna husband ke saath ghar jaao aur apna kids ke saath khelo... (Smiles)

Man: haan bhai mundeya! Leja apni vauti ko... Hun te chahe utha ke le ja... (Patting his back)

Neil: sacchi bolo uncle ji leja utha ke?

Man: oh leja shera leja...

Avni was about to leave that place but Neil pulled her and picked her in bridal style..

Avni: (shocked) Neil pagal ho gye ho neeche rakho mujhe neeche rakho..

She was trying to get out of his grip but no use...
Neil took her away. People smiled seeing them.

Neil made her sit in the car and drove away...

All the way avni was mad at him she was constantly saying one thing or the other but Neil pated the least attention to it. Finally the car came to a halt near the cliff.

Neil got down. He went to the other side and got avni out of the car.

Avni: (angry) Neil have you gone mad!? Pagal ho kya? Yaha kya karne aaye the? Aur priti di ki shadi ki photo dekha ke logo ko kya sabit karna chahte the? Haa?

She hits his chest with her small hands one time on each question till the time Neil reached the edge of the cliff.

Neil grabbed her hands.

Neil: yeh ki tum meri ho...

Avni: (gets back) kya bole jaa rahe ho?

Neil: obviously sach! Tumhe to pata hi hoga na ki tum Mujhse pyaar karti ho aur mujhse farak padta hai tumhe...

Avni: (looking away) mujhe koi farak nahi padta tumse... Aur naahi is se ki tum kya karte ho meri flight ka time ho raha mujhe jana hai.

She was about to turn when Neil pulled her towards himself. She directly landed on his chest. Neil leans to the railing of the cliff.

Neil: oh to main yeh samjhu ki tumhe mere kisi aur ke kareeb jaane se koi farak nahi padta?

Avni: nahi padta mujhe farak chhodo mujhe...

Neil held her more tightly.

Neil: good then ab dekho main kya karta hoon.

Without letting avni say anything Neil jumped off the cliff along with avni...

Avni screamed.

Both fell into the water stream flowing below.

After some time Neil came out holding avni...

He panicked...

Neil: (placing avni down) oh God yeh kya kar diya maine.... Kaise bhool gya avni ko swimming nahi aati hai..

Neil: (patting her face) avni... Avi... Yaar aankhein khol avi...
Kya karu kya karu?

He pressed her stomach. Some water came through her mouth.

She started coughing.

Neil: thank god Tu theek hai main kitna dar gya tha pata hai?

Avni: (getting up) dimaag kharab ho chuka hai tumhara aise upar se kon jump maarta hai?

Neil: mera dimaag kharab? Tumhaari wajah se hi hua hai billi kahi ki...

Avni: main billi!? Tum kya ho hawaldaar?

Neil: hawaldaar!? For your kind info madam main police mein nahi hoon...

Avni: Arrghh!! Neil ... Mujhe ek ghante mein ghar jana hai le ke jaao...

Neil: tab tak nahi jab tak tum sach nahi bol deti...

Avni: kaisa sach?

Neil: yehi ki tumhare dil mein kya hai? Aur yeh confess karo ki tumhe mere kisi aur me kareeb jaane se farak padta hai ..

Avni: meri feelings ka koi sach nahi hai... Samjhe tum aur haan mujhe koi farak nahi padta ki tum Ms. Chuhi ke paas jao yaar Ms. Chipkali ke paas... Mere taraf se tum chahe Ms. Elephant yaan Ms. Dinosaur... Kisi ke paas bhi jao mujhe koi farak nahi padta.

Neil: (smirks) you are right tumhe mere kisi aur ke nahi tumhare kareeb aane se farak padta hai...

Avni looked shocked. Neil started taking steps towards her. Avni started stepping back.

Avni: kya kar rahe ho Neil?

Neil smirks. avni's back hits a tree.

Avni: (getting nervous) kya... Kya kar ho Neil hato..

She tried to go... Neil blocked her way...

Neil: (husky voice) ab bhi kehti ho ki tumhe koi farak nahi padta?

Avni: (looking away) nahi padta...

Neil smirks and lean towards her ears such that his hot breath was fanning her neck..

Neil: ab?

Avni: (her breathes got irregular) nahi...

Neil slides his hand on her bare waist and grabs her tightly he leans and kisses her cheek resting lips a bit longer..

Neil: ab?

Avni was feeling like she'll dissolve away. Her breathes was erratic. She held Neil's arm tightly.

Avni: (whispers) na... Nahi...

Now Neil had enough.

He left her waist. Before avni could react he pulled her and latched his lips on hers.

Avni was shocked to the core. Neil was now frustrated because avni was not confessing to her feelings. He was licking, biting and sucking her lips harshly.

Avni felt like fading away... Ske grabbed Neil's shoulders to prevent from falling. He was showing no mercy on her lips. Avni was feeling breathless... She tried to push Neil away... At last she was finally able to.

Neil left her. He placed his forehead against her cupping her face.

Avni was breathing heavily. Her cheeks flushed the deepest shade of red.

Neil: (whispers) I love you avni. Aaj tak realise nahi kar paya tha I'm sorry...

(He told her each and everything from the starting even prakash's words and her diary too...

Avni: (holding his jacket) I love you too Neil... I'm sorry... Maine aaj tak kabhi kaha nahi...

Neil: shh... Bas ab aur kuch nahi... Woh dekho... (Pointing)

Avni turns to looks that side it was setting sun..

Avni: (smiles) beautiful..

Neil: not more than you ... (Winks)

Avni blushes and hides more into his chest.

Neil: bas ek confirmation chahiye...

Avni: (looks up) kaisa confirmation?

Neil: yahi ki... Humare bunty aur bubbly aayenge na...

Avni: chheee... Kaise naam hai yeh hai yeh mere baccho ke naam neav aur navya honge... (Blushes)

Neil: oh ho mujhe to pata hi nahi tha yaha to koi mujhse bhi aage hai (winks)

Avni: (blushes) zyada mat bolo aur ghar chalo...

Both left for their homes.

After 5 years...

A Lady is seen walking upstairs. It was avni. She opens the door of her room to witness the cutest scene of all the time... Her husband (our Neil) was sitting on bed with her twin kids on him. Girl on his lap and boy on his shoulders. The girl child was having a drawing book placed on his stomach and she was drawing while the boy child was sitting on his shoulders playing with his hair occasionally clutching and leaving them.
He was sleepy... Avni giggles seeing his state...

Neil: (opening eyes) avni tum aa gyi yeh dekho na mujhe kya playroom bana ke baithe hai yeh log...

Avni: haan to maine kaha tha ki ek hi karte hai par tumhe hi bunty aur bubbly chahiye the.. Ab bhugtan karo..

She said while picking her son neav from Neil's shoulders.

Neav sat in her lap playing with her mangalsutra. While navya was still with Neil.

Neil: yaar avi this is not fair... Mujhe kya pata tha ki judwa bacche aafat hote hai...

Avni: accha ji sab galti tumhaari hai...

Neil: Arrey yaar tum ladne ko tyaar hi rehti ho... Pata nahi jab dekho tab...

Navya: BILLI!!
(She said in her cute voice completing her father's sentence)

Avni: haaw ji tum mere bacchon ko yeh sikhate ho mr.....

Neav: hawaldaal!! (hawaldaar) (he said in his baby voice completing his mother's sentence)

Neil and avni looked at each other and then at their kids. And burst out laughing...

The kids too giggled seeing their parents happy...

They lived happily ever after ❤
