Avni was sleeping peacefully while sunlight disturbed her beauty sleep. Neil observed her face which was showing cute antics. He lowered the window with curtains. After few minutes, Neil brought a cup of tea for Avni.

Neil: Baby wake up.

Avni: Tillu, let me sleep.

Neil: Nope my cutie pie, your bed tea is ready.

Adorable smile appeared on Avni's face.

Avni: Thank you Neil for taking care of me. You are the best.

Neil: I know, today we completed our journey of 6 months.

Avni: Yes, happy 6th month Anniversary love.

Neil: Wish you the same, my sweetheart.

Avni: Also happy holi.

Neil: Hmm

Suddenly Neil smirks and applied red colour on Avni's soft cheeks. Avni was shocked.

Avni: I am not even ready and you started playing holi.

Neil: Today, I want to apply each and every colour on your face to show my pure love. Each and every colour has a different meanings. This year is our first holi, I was very much excited to apply red colour on your cheeks. The red colour depict our love.

Avni: But red colour also describes danger and anger.

Neil: I will protect you from the evil world and danger. I will protect myself from your anger.

Avni: Neilllll

Avni playfully threw cusions on him. Avni brought a plate which contains various colours. She applied yellow colour on Neil's nose

Avni: This yellow colour shows how happy we are. Our life will be full of joy and fun. Our morning will start by seeing each other cheerful faces.

Neil: This green colour describes freshness and jealousy.

He puts on her forehead

Neil: Our day will be fresh as flowers and we will never get jealous by male/female friends because we know we are made for each other.

Avni: Hmm, you are possessive.

Neil: Of course, I have to because every man tries to flirt with you. You belong to my heart.

Avni smiled, she took blue colour and applied on his neck.

Avni: This colour shows calmness. Our life maybe unpredictable but we have to tackle by calmness by staying together.

Neil applied sensuously pink colour near her collar bone.

Neil: This colour is very romantic. It also suits on you.

Avni blushed profusely. She applied white Colour on his hair. It's organic colour which is made by Avni.

Neil: Avni ki bachi, don't touch my hairs.

Avni: Huh don't show me your fake anger. This white colour is for peace. After every fight we will make sure to solve it before sleeping.

Neil nodded

Neil: These colours are part of our life. Every colour depict our life.

Avni: Yeah, our holi was amazing. Now, I have to take a warm shower.

Neil:( smirks) Don't worry, I would love to join, we together will take cold shower. We both need it badly because of last night.

Avni's cheeks turned into red tomatoes

After 2 years

In Avneil room, Avni was pulling Neil's hair in frustration.

Avni: I want 4 chocolate ice cream right now.

Neil: (afraid) Baby, it's 2:30am, no shop will be open, we will buy tomorrow. years

Avni: No, I want now itself or else you will sleep in the store room.

Neil gave a horrified expression.

Avni: I know Neilu, now you don't love me and our baby.

Neil: My love, calm down. I will bring ice cream for you and our baby who is growing inside you.

Avni: Yes, it's Avneil's miniature, Neilu now my mood changed. I don't want to eat ice cream now I only want your curdles.

Neil smiled at his 7 months pregnant wife, she brought happiness in his life in every form of  colours.
