They get involved in their talks. Later, the marriage rituals start, and everyone is enjoying. Avni is busy with her work, and Neil's eyes are on her now and then. He is very intrigued by her and tries to talk to her, but there are always many people around.

After some time, the marriage is done, and the family is taking photos together. It's time for a complete family picture.

Ali: "Wait, wait. I will just come now."

Everyone frowns, and he goes to Avni, who is busy with her work. He pulls her to the mandap area, holding her arm even after her protests.

Ali: "Why is everyone looking like this? She is our family."

Neil frowns hearing this, and Avni has her head down.

Dayawanthi: "Yes, of course. Come, Avni, stand right next to your father."

Avni feels happy and smiles, making Neil's heart skip a beat for a second. She stands beside Ashish.

Dayawanthi intervenes angrily: "See Ashish, I told you. All she does is act innocent. She very well knows that Ali will drag her to the mandap if he sees her there. She purposely came there so that Ali can see her and then drag her to the mandap. Now everyone will question us about this illegitimate girl. "I have told you a hundred times not to bring this inauspicious girl into our home. Because of your mistakes, we are tolerating her."

Ashish, feeling conflicted, defends Avni

Ashish: "Maa, why are you talking like this now? I have warned her, and now she will not repeat the same."

Dayawanthi : "Now what is there to repeat? Everyone saw her today. Whoever heard is asking me how she is Ashish's daughter. I have lied to many people that she is our maid, but we treat her like our daughter."

Avni, feeling disgusted and hurt, starts sobbing. She looks at Ashish and runs into her room.

Already, I am doing so many sins, and I do not want to do any more.

Hearing the heartless conversation between Ashish, Dayawanthi, and Avni, Neil and his family, who were about to leave, decide not to meet them. Disgusted by Dayawanthi's behavior, they leave without meeting her.

In the car:

Swetha: "Poor soul, how can they treat her like that?"

Bebe: "I never thought Dayawanthi is this heartless."

Prakash: "I don't understand why Ashish is tolerating all this."

Neil is driving and lost in his thoughts.

Swetha: "I just hope she will get a man who loves her and looks after her like the princess she is."

The next day, Neil goes to meet Ali. He knows it's not the right time right after the marriage day, but he wants to know more about Avni.

Neil reaches the Mehta mansion, and Avni opens the door. Neil smiles at her as if he won a lottery, making Avni confused and finding his smile weird. She gives him a slight smile and asks him to come inside.

Neil continues staring at her without blinking, making her uncomfortable. Ashish enters the hall.

Ashish: "Arey Neil beta, you're here? Come, come, sit here."

Neil comes out of Avni's gaze.

Ashish: "Avni, go and bring tea for me and Neil."

Avni nods and goes inside the kitchen. Neil speaks to Ashish.

Neil: "Good morning, Uncle. I just came to meet Ali. I'm sorry; I know I shouldn't have come this early, but I have some important work."

Ashish: "No worries, beta. You can come here anytime. I will ask Avni to call Ali down. He was awake, and they just had breakfast."

Neil: "Sure, Uncle."

Avni comes back with tea and gives it to Neil and Ashish.

Ashish: "Avni, go and tell Ali that Neil is here."

Avni nods and goes to inform Ali. After some time, Ali comes down and hugs Neil. They both go into the office room.

Ali: "Neil, what's the important work? Is everything fine?"

Neil: "Yeah, yeah, everything is fine. Don't worry. I just want to ask you some information."

Neil hesitates, and seeing his hesitation, Ali encourages him to ask without any fear.

Neil: "I just want to know about Avni."

Ali is surprised to hear Neil's question.

Ali: "About Avni?"

Neil nods his head.

Ali: "What do you want to know, and can I know why is that?"

Neil: "Hmm, let's just say that I am interested in her."

Ali: "Really?" (with lots of excitement)

Neil: "Really. I liked her at the very first sight. And you, you're the traitor. You never told me that Riya has a sister, and she is this beautiful?"

Ali: "So, she is beautiful, and that's why you like her?"

Neil: "Yeah, she is beautiful, but she is also very intriguing. I want to know about her, I want to know about her to love her, I want to be with her. I don't know why; I just want her to be with me. Will you help me?"

Ali: "I will help you, Neil, because I know you are really interested in her and you genuinely like her. I believe you can never do something wrong to anyone. Avni looks at him as if he lost his mind.

Avni: "No, thank you. My cab is on the way."

Neil: "Hey, Avni, you can trust me. I am Ali's best friend."

Avni: "No, no, sorry. I did not mean to offend you, but..."

Neil smiles at her innocence.

Neil: "I understand. How can you trust anyone like that, right? It's okay." (he keeps a sad face)

Avni: "No, no. I know you. I will come with you. But will it not be late for you?"

Avni comes out of the shock and looks aside.

Avni: "Please stop the car; I will get down here."

Neil: "Okay, okay. Sorry, I will not talk anymore. Let me drop you, please."

Avni: "No, please. I want to get down."

Neil: "I thought you were my friend; I can talk friendly with you. But you're straight-up rejecting my friendship offer without even me offering it. I guess I am not as good as to be a friend of yours." (he shrugs sadly)

Avni: "No, no, it's nothing like that. No friend of mine talked to me like this. Maybe I only had Ali as my friend; that's why I am feeling new. I am ready to be a friend of yours. You can drop me to my college."

Neil smiles internally and adores her innocence.

Neil: "Really?" (with lots of excitement) "Thank you so much for making me your friend. You know, I don't have many friends, but now I have you."

Avni smiles at him. They reach her college, and as she is getting down, Neil stops her.

Neil: "I will come to pick you up in the evening. We can go out."

Avni: "What?" (with a shocking face)

Neil: "We are friends now, right?"

She nods.

Neil: "So, don't you know friends roam around?"

Avni: "Yeah, but I cannot. I have work at home, and I have to study. Sorry."

Saying that, she goes inside the college, leaving Neil disappointed.

Avni's POV: I know he is definitely flirting with me, or is he really? I don't know what his intention is, but I have to be very careful. I cannot just go close to anyone like that.

As the days passed, Avni and Neil became friends. Avni had no option but to become his friend as he left her with no choice. Neil always dropped and picked her up with various reasons, and Ali helped him. Avni is slowly falling in love with him, and Neil has already fallen harder for her. Neil: "I love you, Avni. I love you so much. I want all of you, forever. You and me, every day. I can't guarantee that I'll be the ideal husband or wife, but I can guarantee that I'll always be the one to make you smile. Will you please marry me, meri jaan?"

Avni has happy tears in her eyes and nods her head in a yes, making him very happy. He hugs her tightly and kisses her temple.

Neil: "Thank you, thank you, thank you very much for making me feel so lucky."

Avni is a crying mess now. She nods her head in no and says.

Avni: "You are my lucky charm. I feel lucky because of you. You don't know how happy you make me. Thank you for loving me."

She cries again.

Neil: "Offo, now stop crying and say those three magical words to me."

Avni feels shy and hugs him.

Avni: "I love you, Neil. More than words can express, I love you. Yes, I will marry you."

Avni cries and looks at Swetha, who has tears in her eyes.

Ashish comes inside and takes Avni away from the room.

He doesn't remember anything, and everyone is saying that she is his wife. How can he love her? He already loves his Juhi. So, how can he have a wife who is unknown to him? He is not able to tolerate that he moved on from Juhi very easily and married an unknown girl, getting her pregnant. He feels like he cheated Juhi.

Avni sees him and gets very happy. She runs towards him and hugs him tightly.

Avni: "Welcome home, Neil."

Neil doesn't speak anything and just looks away from Avni, making her sad.

Avni: "I am sorry. I know you don't remember me, and I am ready to give you time. Take however much time you want, but Neil, please don't leave me."

She has tears in her eyes while saying this. Neil gulps, looking at her tears.

Neil: "I am sorry. I don't remember everything. For me, I lost the love of my life recently, and I am still in love with her. I am not understanding how I can love you and marry you that easily. I don't even know what to do now. Please give me some time. I really don't want to think about anything now."

Avni's heart breaks hearing him. She got to know from Swetha that Neil loved a girl in his college days, and she died in an accident. Neil became very depressed, and later, he got into an accident and forgot everything, starting a fresh life. She knew that it is difficult for him, but how can he forget her, his wife? His Avni? The one who he claimed to love?

Avni: "Please take your time, Neil."

On the other hand, Avni is happy that Neil is now accepting her and their child. She is content that he is taking care of her, even though their conversations are not as free as before. Neil may not talk to her openly, but he is always there for her, fulfilling her needs and those of their baby. He doesn't leave her alone, and she is very happy with this change. She hopes that very soon he will fall in love with her again.

Days pass, and Avni gives birth to a baby girl. Neil is extremely happy to welcome this little angel into his life.

I was content in my own zone, happy with the shelter, food, and education at Mehta mansion. Why did you follow me, befriend me, and marry me? Why did you show me your love? For what? To later say you're in love with another woman who isn't even on this earth? Why is God punishing me so much?

She breaks down into tears, kneeling.

Avni: Why did you love me, Neil? Why did you marry me? All this time, why did you act? Yours wasn't true love. If it was, you wouldn't have forgotten me and our love. I hate you for doing this to me, Neil. I can't bear it anymore. Your fake love and sympathy are suffocating me. At least at Mehta mansion, everyone was true to me. They hated me and didn't pretend to love me. They showed their true feelings. But you wanted to cheat me with fake actions.

She cries while expressing her pain.

Avni: I wouldn't have taken your child away if you didn't show me any sympathy. I'm not cruel to take a daughter away from her father, Neil. Anyway, I have nowhere to go. Importantly, I love you, Neil. Even though you don't love me, I will always love you. I would have happily watched you from afar and been happy with your happiness. But why did you have to raise expectations in me and show your fake care and love? (She shouts)

Neil tries to console her, but she pushes him away.

Avni: Don't touch me, Neil. I can't trust your touch anymore.

Neil feels a deep sense of regret and guilt as Avni pours out her emotions. He realizes the pain he has caused her with his insensitive actions.

Neil: Avni, I never meant to hurt you. I don't know why I acted this way, but I am genuinely sorry for everything. I can't explain why I don't remember our past, but it hurts me to see you in pain. I never intended to fake anything.

Avni (tearfully): You don't understand, Neil. You can't imagine the depth of the pain I'm going through. It's not just about your memory loss; it's about the way you treated me. I feel broken, Neil.

Neil: Avni, I promise you I will try to understand, and we will find a way through this. I don't want to lose you as well , I am so sorry.

Avni: It's not that easy, Neil. Trust is broken, and I can't pretend like nothing happened. I need time to heal.

Neil: I know, Avni, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. Just please don't give up on us.

Avni remains silent, still processing the emotional turmoil that has taken over her life. Neil realizes the depth of the damage caused. 

From the next day, Neil tries his best to understand Avni. He realizes he made a big mistake by ignoring her and decides it's time for a change. He wants to move on, embracing a beautiful life with his daughter and wife. Losing Avni is not an option; he acknowledges that he needs her.

Neil shows that he cares for Avni through his actions. He takes her on dates, plans outings, and avoids hurting her. He wants to express his love genuinely. With Ali's help, he works on gaining Avni's trust and love again. Slowly and gradually, he falls in love with her even more deeply.

After a few months, they are living a happy life. Avni is content, although she feels a twinge of sadness that Neil doesn't love her in the way he used to. Yet, she recognizes her importance as his daughter's mother, which is sufficient for her.

On their daughter's first birthday, they arrange a grand celebration. After the party, Avni is putting their baby to sleep in the middle of the bed, a routine they've adopted. However, Neil has different plans for the night. He gently moves their baby to the cot, surprising Avni when she comes out of the washroom.

Avni: Neil? What happened? Why is the baby in the cot? Is everything okay? Did she wet the bed?

Neil: Shhhh (placing a finger on her lips) How much do you talk?

Confused, Avni looks at him.

Neil: I'm sorry for every hurt I caused you, Avni. I was a stupid man who couldn't see your pain, hurting the most important person in my life.

Avni: Neil, why are you saying sorry? This is all in the past; please leave it.

Neil: No, Avni, please let me talk. My apologies cannot erase everything that hurt you. I don't know how I was blinded by my sorrow, not seeing your pain. I'm sorry, my love.

Avni is shocked to hear all this.

Neil: I love you, Avni. Without you, I am nothing. I'm sorry, my love; please forgive me. I love you more than my baby angel. I don't know how to prove my love other than this. You know my baby is my everything, but now you also have to know that even before the baby came, you were everything to me. You're my soul, my Avni, my wife.

Tears of joy and surprise well up in Avni's eyes. She thought she would never hear these words from Neil again.

Avni cries out loud and sits on the bed.

Neil gets tense and takes her in his arms, apologizing.

Avni: I love you too, Neil (hugging him tightly). I lost hope; I thought you would never love me again, and I have...

Overwhelmed with emotions, she struggles to speak.

Neil also has tears in his eyes, seeing her cry like this.

He cups her cheeks and kisses her passionately, expressing his love for her in that moment.

Neil: Sorry, my love. I will never hurt you again.

Avni is in shock again. She had forgotten how it felt to be kissed by him. After ages, he kisses her, and she cries, hugging him tightly. Neil reciprocates the hug.

Avni: It's been ages since you kissed me, Neil.

Neil chuckles, understanding the emotions behind her words. He wants to keep the atmosphere light, avoiding tears.

Neil: If that's what you want, I can keep on kissing you anywhere and everywhere, meri jaan.

Avni looks at him lovingly and kisses him, expressing all the love she has for him. Tears of happiness stream down Neil's face.
