Commissioner : Neil this is very important , you have to be around her 24 hours and make sure she is safe , if anything happens to her you know the consequences 

Neil nods his head : dont worry sir , I will never let anything happen to her. Not when I am alive 

Commissioner : Good , I know you will , thats the reason I have appointed you for this work. Be alert every second . She is in danger you know that. 

Neil nods his head.

Commissioner : And i know i dont have to tell you this , but the thing is you are young and so she is , so be away from her and dont cross your limits (he says sternly)

Neil pov : i have already crossed all the limits with her but keeping that aside how can i save her being away from her ? this old man has no common sense 

Neil : dont worry sir , for me duty comes first and u dont have to worry sir , I will not even talk to her 

Commissioner : Good I know you , now you can leave , tomorrow early morning directly come to her place , I will whats app you the location , be on time , now I will going to receive her.

Neil pov : Huhh he will send me the location it seems , I just want to slap him for not sending me to the airport ,but i cannot say anything to him , poor old man doesnt know that I am married and the one whom he is going to protect through me is my wife . I dont know what will happen when he gets to know that he gave me the duty of saving my own wife.

Neil nods and leaves from there

Swetha : Finally you came home , is this the time to come home Neil ?

Neil : Fine Mom , I will come tomorrow early in the morning (he says angrily)

saying this he moves towards the main gate 

Swetha : shut up (she beats him with broom stick) to whom u showing ur attitude haan ?

Neil : Mom mom , what r u doing 

he runs inside followed by Swetha 

Swetha : this is your punishment for coming home late 

Neil : Mom for gods sake I am not 5 , I am 28 now and more over I didnt go to roam around , I am a police officer and u cant beat me like this if I am late , you should get habituated with my irregular timings.

Swetha : Shut up dont talk much , I wouldnt have asked you if you had told me you will get late , you told me you will be here on time and will go to airport to receive avni , neela ji waited for you so much time 

Neil : Dont worry Mom , Commissioner and other police men went to receive her

Swetha : They are all not her husbands but you are 

Neil : I know Mom , you dont have to remind me every time , I tried my best to come but Commissioner sir did not allow , if your darling daughter in law hadnt put any condition of our marriage being secret , i would have fought and went to get her instead of the other policemen , but she is very adamant in keeping our marriage secret , its her mistake

Swetha : Stop Neil , u dont have to taunt her , you know the reason y she isnt revealing right 

Neil : Is that a valid reason mom ? its the stupidest reason I have ever heard.  what kind of reason is this that only after she completes her studies and gets a job we should reveal our marriage , this is really stupid 

Swetha : Shut up , we cannot force her in this matter , already you people got married unintentionally its your fortune of course but at least let this be according to her  

Neil sighs and leaves to his room 

Next day 

Swetha : At least have your breakfast and leave 

Neil : No I will have later , i am already late

Neil goes to Mehta Mansion 

Commissioner : See he is here (looking at Neil) , we were talking about you only (Ashish and Neela look at him surprised) 

Neil : Hello sir , hello Ma'am (Ashish and Neela both wish him )

Commissioner : He is very sincere police officer and he is the best for Avni 

they all look at each other 

Commissioner: I mean best person to protect her till she is safe 

Ashish : We know , he is best for avni (he smiles looking at Neil and Neil smiles back at them) , we have heard a lot about him)

Commissioner nods his head : I will leave now and as we discussed yesterday , he will be here with you all for your protection 

Ashish : Yes yes sure , we are really glad to have him here

Commissioner : Okay sir I will take my leave now

saying this he leaves 

Neela : Finally came after many days at least for the sake of Avni's protection

Neil : Please Maa , you very well know i was really busy all these days , sorry I couldnt come 

Neela : Hmmm , you always have reasons anyway the one whom u r searching for is in her room and u know that u can go and no one will stop u 

Neil becomes embarrassed

Neil : I know Maa , u dont have to tease me and also I am not that desperate okay 

Neela: Yeah yeah we can see that, now dont waste time and go 

neil runs from there making Neela and Ashish laugh

Neil hesitantly enters into Anvi's room without knocking making avni shock 

they both look at each other , they have an eye lock with lots of emotions running in their mind , they couldnt pull apart their glances away from each other 

avni breaks the eye lock and glares at him , she is ready to shout at him but Neil closes her mouth with his palm making her eyes wide

Neil: Dont shout , your parents will hear us and they will get to know that something is wrong between us 

Avni removes his hand from her mouth 

avni : they should anyway know this , so y not now 

saying this she goes towards the door but Neil pulls back her harshly and holds her tightly in his grip

Neil : Dont u think u have became more rude and more stubborn , i think u will change but no , u are still the same or should I say that more worst than what u were

Avni : How dare u Neil (she raises her hand to slap him but he holds it)

Neil : I am not that old Neil who is ready to bare everything you throw at me  

he pushes her away from him 

Neil : Dont think that I dont want this to happen , i just want dont want our decision to be out now , already they are very tensed and I dont want to make them more tensed, I hope u can do this much at least for your parents 

She glares at him and pushes him out of his room and closes the door on his face making him more angry 

She lies down on her bed and he sits down on the couch which is the lobby 

they both are lost in their flashback

Flashback:

Avni is very arrogant and rude and also an introvert , She never speaks to anyone , she is always seen with her books , if anyone bullies her she doesnt sit calm and cry , she in turn makes their situation hell , she is no saint , she doesnt say anything but if anyone comes to her path and disturbs her she wont leave them.

Her biggest enemy is Mithali . Because of Mithali she lost faith in friendship and friends

Mithali was once her best friend but mithali betrayed her. Avni was very friendly and kind once up on a time which is during first year of her college but due to mithali she lost faith in friendship. 

Avni loved Vidyuth and was about to propose him but mithali who also crushed on Vidyuth made some fake and bad stories on avni and made her characterless girl in front of whole college , when avni couldn't take anymore she changed the college in 2nd year.

In her new college she didnt want to make any new friends , so she was always alone and when ever some one bullied her she gave them back and this is how she became strong. 

Neil was in his first year of MBA when avni was in 2nd year of engineering. 

Neil was very well known to everyone and many girls crush over him.

Avni gave no attention to him neither he did , he was always studious but he mingles with everyone and is friendly with everyone. He is very soft natured guy with a very good heart.

Few juniors went on a project trip along with few seniors as juniors mentors from their college. In these few avni and neil were also there .

Everyone reached their destination and rooms were allotted to them . 

After dinner avni was sitting alone in the beach and all the others were playing games and chitchatting. That was the first time avni grabbed Neils attention.

He found her very weird as she was sitting alone but he shrugged away his thoughts and was busy with his friends.

But after some time he found that avni was missing , he excused himself and searched for her but she was no where , he found few sounds coming from jungle side , he moves into the jungle and sees avni being dragged by few boys , he immediately goes towards them and pulls avni away from them , he kicks 2 of them and pushes away other 2 of them and runs with avni holding her hand. 

After running for quiet far distance they get lost in jungle.

Avni starts getting worried and Neil tries to cool her down. 

They start walking to a certain direction in a hope to reach their place but unfortunately jungle people find them and take them forcefully to their place. (please guys its just a story , I am not demeaning anyone , if by mistake anyone are hurt please forgive me and take this just as a story)

All this while Neil holds avnis hand unconsciously giving her strength.

The village head : Who are this people and why did u bring them here ?

The person who brought them to village : They were running in the jungle and were searching for something , I think they are here to conquer our place Master

Neil : What rubbish u r speaking , we lost our ways to our hotel and we are searching for that , it is not what u think , it is just nonsense and leave us alone , we have to go 

Village : stop shouting , once u come here it is our decision to send you people or not and what is the proof that u people had lost the way

Few men look at her lustily , Neil hides her behind him , she clutches his shirt tightly

one of the men come to touch avni but the village head stops him 

Village : stop there u cannot go and touch a girl who is married 

Neil and avni look at each other avni was terrified with the incidence and now this , he tightly holds her hand to assure her that he is with her and no one can do anything with her  

Other person who is about to go near avni : Is she really your wife (looking lustily at avni ) 

Neil clenches his fist but stays calm and turns to village head who is looking at them curiously 

Neil : Trust me we are not what u r thinking , we lost our ways to our place and got struck in this jungle , please help us to reach out from this place.

Village head (with doubt) : first answer us , is she ur wife ? 

Neil nods his head in yes and avni nods her head in a yes too

Village : how did u lost ur way ?

Neil explains him that few people tries to molest his wife and they ran away from them and they lost their way 

Village head gets convinced and asks them to stay that night their and promises them that he will help them to reach their place by tomorrow in the morning.

Neil and avni were happy but were also very scared.

All the while avni and Neil doesnt leave each others hand.

The people over their show them a room and ask them to settle down there that night. They enter into that room and close the door. 

Avni sits there in a corner and cries closing her mouth so that the people outside cannot hear her.

Neil goes near her and rubs her shoulders trying to calm her down and she looks up at him and thats the first time they see each other clearly. They both get mesmerized by each others beauty.

Avni hugs him tightly and starts crying like a child , He hugs her back and tries to calm her down.

Later after she calms down they both settle down to take rest . Neil sleeps on the floor and avni sleeps on the bed there in the room. 

Next day morning when Neil comes out a person from the jungle gets a doubt seeing avni sleeping on bed and a mat down on the floor where Neil had slept. He runs to the village head and tells them what he saw . Village head gets very angry and calls both of them.

Village : You said you both are married ?

Neil and avni look at each other and nods their head in a yes

Village : But I see no vermilion and nuptial chain on her 

Neil : yesterday while running and fight with those people she lost her chain and so her vermilion.

Village : tie her nuptial chain and put vermilion on her head in front of us and we will believe that u r husband and wife 

 Neil gets angry : r u out of ur mind , what nonsense is this again , y do we have to prove ourselves , I am doing nothing , send us away form here right now.

Village : I can take anything u give but not betrayal , i trusted u  but u lied to me ?  (he says angrily) now i will see how u will escape from here , go get that girl and one of u marry her 

avni and Neil gets shocked and scared hearing that , few men hold neil tightly and other men goes near avni 

Neil: Stop it, she is my wife and i will put her vermilion and tie her nuptial chain 

they stop and Neil gets married to avni which ofcourse doesn't mean anything to Neil as this was not a marriage according to him , but avni is already in love with him and whole heartedly accepted him that moment.

Later avneil reached their place.

Neil drops her to her home

Avni : Please come inside 

Neil : No I have to leave now , 

Avni : Thank you so much Neil , i dont know how to thank you. I owe u all my life

Neil : Please avni , dont say all this , i really dont know how to take this thanks and all , i would do the same with anyone who are in your position , as a human its my right to save another person who is in problem anyway i have to leave now , forget all this and take care and haan I am sorry for whatever happened, to save u , i have put vermilion and nuptial chain on you , hope u dont mind , and dont forget to clean all this if possible before ur parents see this.

Anvi just smiles and suddenly hugs him making him shock but he hugs her back 

they bid bye to each other 

Later avni's parents get to know what happened and get in contact with Neils parents . Their parents decide to get them married as they think that the marriage is not a joke , what has happened has happened but they have to make it real and complete this holy thing with all the rituals.

Neil is not happy but for his parents happiness he gets married to her with all the rituals but they dont invite any one apart from their family and close friends. They didnt want to reveal about their marriage as avni is still young and Neil is still studying . They decide to keep a grand reception and invite everyone after Neils post graduation. 

Avni who is in love with Neil is very very happy with the way things are going and she is looking forward for their happy married life.

Avneil room on their first night. 

They both sit silently not knowing what to do or what to talk. After sometime Neil talks to her

Neil : I know all this happened suddenly and we had no time to talk and know about each other , but we dont have to worry right ? we can take things slow , we will know each other first by becoming friends right ?

Avni becomes shocked hearing him , of course if she is in love with him it doesnt mean that he should also love her , it will take time for him. 

She nods her head.

Avni : I love you Neil 

Neil gets shocked by her reply.

Avni : I am deeply in love with you , I want to spend my whole life with you , dont worry I will not force you , please take your time , i just want u to know my opinion on this marriage. I married u with my whole heart. I love you and I am ready to wait for u .

Neil gets surprised and shocked by her confession and somewhere he is very very happy.

Neil : I dont know what to say but I am happy that you were not forced in this relation 

Avni smiles making him smile.

Slowly their bond and closeness increases.

Neil falls in love with her and is very happy with her . Though he gets angry on her stubborn behavior at times , but is very happily in love with her.

Like this they complete an year , everyone in the college knows that there is something going between them but they doesnt know that they are already a officially married couple.

Now avni is in 3rd year and Neil is in 2nd year of his MBA

Avni on her first day of her college gets shocked seeing Mithali in her class.

She gets so much angry seeing her , Mithali smirks seeing avni and tries to agitate her but avni gives back to mithali by insulting her in a very bad way in the first day itself.

Later Mithali never came near avni and avni was surprised by this but she doesnt want to think much about mithali so she doesnt let mithali effect her and ignores mithali.

One fine day Avni happily goes to Neils class to ask him the bunk the class for the first time in her life but she stops in her track seeing Neil very close with a girl. 

They both were laughing looking into the mobile and hi-five each other. There was a whole gang around Neil , she knew all of them except this new girl.

Avni gets very much angry seeing their closeness , all unnecessary thoughts are running in her mind.

She calls Neil and sees Neil happily picking up her call and she sighs in relief and happiness.

Neil : Yes darling , missing me (he starts flirting)

Avni : Yes very much please come out , I am standing out of your class 

Neil immediately comes out to find avni , avni happily smiles at him and he reciprocates it.

Avni quickly pulls him to a secluded place and kisses him passionately . He kisses her back with equal fervor.

Neil : Arey wah i didnt know that u r so much desperate for me (he teases her making her blush)

he kisses her again lovingly sucking her lips making her moan 

After sometime they are in their lying in each others arms after their passionate love making.

Neil : I am feeling very proud that I am the reason of your first bunk 

Avni : And i am glad that u r the reason 

she again kisses him and bites his neck making him hiss in pain , she roams her hands on his naked body 

Neil : Woah , take it slow my lady don , I dont have more stamina for now and dont leave any love bites on my neck.

Avni : But i love to mark you , it shows that u r mine

Neil : Of course I am yours but u dont have to show everyone right 

avni frowns 

avni : No i want to show it to everyone that u r mine only mine 

Neil : okay darling now let us continue what we were doing few minutes back

saying this he hovers over her making her laugh , they made love for whole night 

After few days 

Avni : Neil I dont want you to go there now , I want you to spend some time with me 

Neil : Avni please jaanu , I am going after many days , I want to go and enjoy with my friends , Please let me go

Avni : But you went last week only na Neil 

Neil: Last week it was only boys night out , today my each and every friend will be there and i dont want to miss any fun 

Avni : y dont u say directly that u enjoy girls attention and u want to spend some time with Girls Neil ? (she shouts at him frustratingly)

Neil : What did u say ? (he gets angry but controls himself)

Avni : what ever heard 

Neil takes a deep breathe and calmly replies her 

Neil: Avni jaan what happened ? y r u angry ? why r speaking like that ?

Avni : I dont want u to go there Neil , I am sorry for what ever i said but please i dont want u to go there 

Neil: But avni 

Avni : Neil please last week when u had asked me i permitted u right ? but not today please

Neil : Permitted ? where did that come from ? I didnt take ur permission okay ? I have my own mind and i know what to do to and what not to , I just informed u as u r my wife , where did this permission come from avni ?

Avni frowns hearing him 

Avni : I dont know all that Neil , I dont want u to go there , especially when girls are there and mainly Juhi 

Neil : How do u know Juhi ?

avni rolls her eyes 

avni : what do u think ? if u dont tell me i wouldn't know anything ? I know now a days u r being very close to her 

Neil: r u stalking me Avni ? 

Avni : No I am not , y would I ? but many people do stalk you and i got to know from the people around us 

Neil : what do u want avni ?

Avni : I dont want u to go there Neil , I dont want u to be with Juhi , I dont want u to talk to her , in fact not only her every other girl who is trying to get close to u 

Neil gets very much angry 

Neil : U cannot decide with whom should I be and with whom I should not 

avni : I can Neil , because you are mine and i can decide for u and i decided that u r not going anywhere , girls are very manipulative neil , u dont know them , they will change u and i dont want that to happen 

Neil : shut up avni , r u even listening what u r speaking ? 

avni : please neil , please dont go , I dont like it 

neil sighs angrily and goes inside the closet and closes the door harshly making avni flinch 

after few minutes neil comes out in his track pants making avni sigh in relief

She goes and hugs him tightly and kisses on his heart 

Avni : I know u will never go against me 

Neil pushes her away and goes to sleep 

Avni lies down beside him and hugs him from back , she knew that he is very angry with her but she cannot do anything nor she can change herself.

she is very possessive of Neil , she doesnt want him to be around any girl

she fears that any girl might manipulate him against her and take him away from her , mainly that Juhi , as Juhi is Mithali's room mate and they are friends. 

she is very strong from outside but at the same time she is scared of Neil going away from her because of the past incidents . 

Neil doesnt know anything  about avnis past as avni fears that Neil might not believe her and hate her.

Next day Avni apologizes to him several times in several ways making him forgive her.

Avni hugs him immediately after he smiles at her 

Avni : I love u Neil and remember what ever i say is for our sake only 

Neil frowns but he doesnt want to start an other argument.

Avni starts controlling him by making decisions for him in college matters , she doesnt allow him to go any where near any girl. She always wants him to be near her and this is making Neil more angry but he stays calm as he didnt want to have a fight with her. 

Neil understands that she is very possessive , he thinks to talk to her slowly and makes thing normal , but every time he starts talking about it, she starts a fight and he stays calm not wanting to make it a big one.

One fine day in college avni hears people around her saying that Neil and Juhi are an amazing couple 

Random Person : though I find Juhi and Neils pair awesome , I love Neil and Mithali's pair too . 

Other person : But what about that nerd avni ? Neil and avni are in a relationship right ? 

Random Person : No they are not in a relation ship it seems , mithali told me that avni is forcing neil to be in relation with her , she is always behind Neil it seems , by looking she seems to be very innocent but see what she is , she is a real bitch 

Other person : But how come did they know all 

Random Person : Neil told all this to Juhi and Juhi told this to Mithali , Mithali and Juhi are room mates na , so i got to know this

They dont know that all this is heard by avni , avni is fuming in anger and her anger has no limits today , she rushes to Mithali and Juhi but in the middle of the way she sees Neil with Mithali , laughing and talking to her.

Mithali sees avni glaring at them and to rile her up she places her hand on Neils shoulder and goes very near to him making him uncomfortable. Avni sees this and get more angry than before ,  she directly goes to them and slaps her hard making Neil and everyone around them shocked.

avni : how dare u ? stayaway from my Neil , he is mine and only mine , bitches like u cannot take him away from me 

saying this she again moves forward to beat her but neil stops avni and shields Mithali. avni glares at him in anger

avni : Neil move away today I will kill her , she is speaking all rubbish about u , 

Neil : Avniiii (he shouts at her) 

Neil pushes avni away making avni stumble , avni was about to fall but Neil quickly holds her in her place 

avni looks at him , she is seeing him this angry for the first time , neil removes his hands away from avni and glares at her 

Avni : Neil u know what is this bitch doing 

neil : Shut up avni , I dont want to hear one more word from you 

Avni : Neil listen to me , this bitch and that another bitch Juhi are spreading nonsense about u, they are saying that you are in relation with Juhi that too you both are living together , how dare they , today i will not leave them , i will show them u r mine , just mine , u r my love and i am yours , no one can come in between us

Neil : shut up avni , just shut up , i am fed up off your madness , stop it , look at yourself , is this how u behave ? (he yells at her)

Avni pulls her hair and shouts 

Avni : I know these bitches told you against me , trust me neil what all they told is not true , u know , they are saying everyone that i forced u in our relation and u r not in love with me , tell them that U r mine Neil , tell them that , u only love me , only Me (she holds his collar and shouts)

Neil pulls himself away from her 

Neil : shut ur nonsense avni , Juhi was right , u dont love me , u r obsessed with me  

Avni's eyes becomes wide now

Avni : U shut up Neil , how can u even say that ? do u think I am psycho ? 

Neil holds her arms and takes her from there , she tries to pull her hands away from his grip but he holds her tightly , she looks back to see Mithali and Juhi smiling evilly

Avni : Neil look at them once , they are smiling Neil , this is all their plan to separate you from me, just once look back Neil 

Neil ignores her and takes her to his car , he makes her sit inside his car and takes her to home 

Neil drags her to their room 

Neil : what were u doing there avni ?

Avni : U know what all are talking about u and Juhi Neil ? trust me , they are not what they look like 

Neil : I dont care about them avni , all i care is about u , how can u behave that way avni ? they are not Neil to be okay with your behavior , they are

avni interrupts him

avni : wait a sec , what did u say just now ? they are not you to be okay with my behavior ? what do u mean by that Neil ?

Neil: I mean the same thing which u r thinking right now (he says coldly)

avni : U mean to say that u r tolerating me all these days ? 

Neil turns to the other side breaking avni's heart 

Avni : So this is what it is , they are true , so u told Juhi that I am forcing u in this relation , but I being stupid believed that u love me and u can never think that way about me (she says crying)

Neil gets hurt seeing her crying but he remains still 

Avni : so u r tolerating me haan ? (she asks him crying), did I hurt u that much that now u r tolerating me ? (she holds his collar) so tell me is this true ? that u and that bitch juhi are in a relation ? 

Neil gets angry at her lack of distrust and pushes her away again 

Neil : Yes I am tolerating you , your torture , your over protectiveness , your lack of trust on me, your obsession and your mad possessiveness , but i cannot anymore , U have to change avni , i  cannot tolerate u anymore if u r this way , its too much for me to handle , when Mithali told me about u I argued with her but today I saw your madness , U have to change avni , u have to change for good , I want to be with u avni , i want to spend my whole life with u , but if u continue to be like this I am afraid that we cannot live together anymore 

Avni : Stop it Neil , I got all my answers , I now know that u dont love me and never had loved me, its crystal clear that u dont want me and neither i want u anymore , till now i loved u , but not anymore , i cannot change myself for a person like u Neil , u said that i dont trust u right ? but u too dont trust me Neil and i am done with this , even I dont want to stay with u , i am leaving right today and u dont have to tolerate me anymore

saying this she goes into bathroom and breaks down there inside the bathroom and here Neil is shocked hearing her , he didnt want this to happen , true that he is really mad and angry at her for her behavior and he said all that but he never wanted to leave her . He too cries silently , he thought she will come around and apologize and tries to change herself , but he is proven wrong as she leaves to Mehta mansion. 

After a week on Sunday everyone gathers for dinner 

Avni : Maa , Papa , Mom , Dad , you all know that I am trying for an opportunity in xxxxxxx college from many moths right ? I got that opportunity , classes are going to start from next Monday and I really want to join over there , so please please grant me permission.

she says shocking every one especially Neil 

Neela : But in the middle of the year ? Bacha how can you leave all this and go , we even thought of your reception as soon as Neil completed his studies 

Avni : please Maa , its once in a life time opportunity , i dont want to miss it , I really want to go and about the reception we can held it after I complete my studies , please Maa , please everyone 

Prakash : okay puthar , you can go but what about your husband , can u both live without each other 

Avni : Of course 

Everyone looks at her 

Avni : Of course we cannot , but we even have to take care of our careers too na Dad , we will miss each other a lot , but being in long distance relations love increases right ? 

everyone smile at her words

Swetha : I am okay with your decision , but u have to come home for every holidays 

Avni : I will surely come , now i cannot miss the chance to meet u all right 

Neil is very silent and observing everything

after some time he pulls her in to the room and hugs her making her still

Neil : I know I talk all the nonsense in the world but dare u leave me alone and go far away from me 

avni pushes him away 

Avni : What did u thinh Neil , that i will come behind u begging to be with me ? never , i can go behind a person who loves me but i cannot and will not go behind a person who doesnt love me. I am not that cheap and I am not that weak Neil. 

Neil : What are u saying avni and what r u doing ? this is not the way avni

avni : I am doing this for us neil 

neil frowns 

avni : U dont have to tolerate me and can be free and do whatever u want to , I am freeing u from this relation , be with whom ever u want to be , i dont care , u can go away from this forced relation 

neil : shut up avni , i never said that u r forced on me ? dont talk nonsense

avni : but I am forced on u Neil , it is the truth which u cannot change and u r right u r tolerating me , u r very opposite to me Neil , we are very different , its better if we part ways , I will not come in between you and your Juhi.

Neil gets very angry , she is not at all believing him and accusing him to be in relation with juhi 

Neil : Yes u r right , we are very different , we will part our ways (he says with cracking voice)

avni has tears in her eyes and neil too
