Avni opened her eyes looking here and there and realized she was in hospital. She tried to get up while Neil helped her.

"Mujhe yaha kyu laeke aaya..." she asked with a pout looking at him.

"Avni.. Is that even a question?..." he asked.

"Doctor told us na... That I am fine..." she spat back looking at him

"Yeahh but... The test were taken... Doctor may come anytime..." he said while she looked at him nodding her head in disbelief.

"Buddhu!" she called while Neil's eyes widen hearing her while she laughed looking at him.

"😏😏😏" he made this face looking away from her

While she hold his hand and kept on her belly while Neil looked at her suddenly.

"Yeh bhi hosaktha haina..." she said cutely with a wide grin on her face slightly blushing while Neil was so happy hearing her.

He hugged her in a go and kissed her all over her face. She hugged him while Neela ma and Aashish reached there and greeted Avni.

The doctor entered

" Hello.. Mrs. Khanna.... How are you feeling?" she asked smiling

"Super good doctor.." she replied her back

"Nothing to worry... Its a good news... She is pregnant..." the doctor said while Avni eyes sparkler with tears realizing that she gonna have a baby.

Neela ma hugged her in happiness and Neil can't able to express how he is feeling right now.

"Neil... You come with me..." she said while Neil nodded and left with the doctor.

"Yes doctor.." he asked her while the doctor looked at him

"What happened.. Is anything..." her silence making him restless. And she finally spoke

"No.. Avni is fine ..." she said while he sighed in relief.

"But.."

"But?"

"But you know right... Avni is in high dosage medication... She is weak Neil.... This will be so difficult for her... It may get complicate in future... I hope you understand..." she said and all he could imagine was her face which had so much happiness hearing the news and the feel when she kept his hand on her tummy.

Neil don't want to give her stress but it is important to for her to know everything. He didn't know how he gonna say to her. He took a deep breath and plastered a smile on his face so that he don't ruin her happiness as far now and went in.

"why did doctor called you?" she asked seeing him entering the room

"To give instruction about your diet and pregnancy..." he said while she rolled her eyes.

"She gives us lecture always.." she complained while he laughed.

Avni felt something seeing him as like she read his mind. She feels like he is hiding something from her. She kept on staring at him while he looked at her.

"Kya hua.." he asked and side hugged her

"Kuch nahi.." she said grining

Later on

At Night

Avni was cuddling him as usual.

"Tell me what happen?" she asked while Neil looked at her blankly.

"K.. Kya..?" he asked.

"Don't try to act smart okay!!.. I know something is bothering my Neilu.." she said and got up while he smiled hearing her.

"Achaa I will tell you but on one condition.." he said while she nodded

"Okay.."

"Hmm.. You should not get panic or think unnecessarily..." he said pinning her hair behind her ear while she nodded smiling

He took her in his lap.

"Avni... Doctor told me that... Our Pregnancy may get complicate in future....." he said looking at her while Avni didn't react to him. She was still smiling while Neil looked at her recognizing whether she was hiding her emotions.

"Neil...." she said smiling and cupped his face

" Neil you know right... Humareliye yeh baby kitna important hai" she hold his hand and kept on her tummy asking looking into his eyes while he nodded

"Neil... This is our love.....agar mujhe kuch..." he kept his hand on her mouth stopping her

"Neil... Listen to me... Okay.... Agar mujhe kuch hua tho... Baby hi humara nishaani hogi Neil..." she said while his eyes were getting moist.

"I promise main baby ko kuch nahi hone dungi..." she said while he hugged her tightly.

"I promise main tumhe aur baby ko kuch nahi hone dunga" he said and kissed her hair. She broke the hug

"Yeh hui na baat..." she said winking at him while he chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"Avni... Get ready..." he said while she looked at him excitedly

"Kaha jaarahi hai hum... Yaay!!" she shouted and get down from the bed quickly

"Avni...you should be careful " he said holding her while she bit her tongue

"Sorry baby..." she said cutely to their baby and wrapped her hand around him

"Where are we going..." she asked while he leaned forward near her face

"Suprise.." he whispered while she pouted.

"I have packed all your dresses and necessities....so now you get ready we will be moving..." he said while she turned her face away from him faking her anger while he stood laughing at her.

On the car

"Plishh tell me na...where are we going.. " she asked cutely and on the top her hormones were doing nothing good as she can't bare this suspense of him.

" Avni that's a Suprise jaana..." he repeated the same while she huffed.

"Yeh Neil bhi na...." she murmured enjoying the sight outside the window.

They reached after a hour or more.

Avni was already slept, he smiled at her and picked her in his arms while she woke up

"hum aagay?" she asked rubbing her eyes.

"Haa.." he said

He made her to stand while she saw the place which was surrounded with trees. The weather was slightly cold.

"Chalo.." he said wrapping his hand around her shoulder.

She loved the ambience of the home and the place. She felt so much of peace and she reached the room and settled herself as she got tired after the travel.

"You wanna fresh up?" he asked keeping the things on the cupboard

"I wanna sleep.." she said while he smiled and sat beside her caressing her hairs and soon she dozed off.

After a hour

Avni came down after freshing up. She saw him watching TV. She went and sat beside him leaning on his shoulder. He kissed her hair looking at her. He went from there and brought lunch for her. Avni smelled the aroma and found out the food.

"Briyani!" she said excited while Neil laughed and sat beside her. He fed her with his hands while she was watching the TV.

"Good girl..." he said as she finished her food without any tantrums. If it was any other food he know she would have done a big drama

"Daily briyani tho kaam chalega😜..." she said and bit her tongue cutely

"Achaa..." he said raising his brow and smiled at her.

On evening,

They used to water the plants and walk at garden talking over a random topic. They went for a shopping and they bought dresses for little one.

At night

Avni was cuddling him while he was caressing her hairs.

"Neil... How long we will stay here?.... This place is so nice..." she said to him drawing random pattern on his t-shirt

"As long as you wish.... I have rented here for a week... If you wanna extend we can stay for some more days. " he said while she lifted her face and looked at him

"Why don't we buy this home?" she asked while Neil made thinking face

"That's a good idea... You really like this home?" he asked her while she nodded.

"Then done..." he said smiling at her

"Sachi?" she sat on the bed hearing him

"Jaana careful..." he said while she hugged him

Neil made all the arrangements to own that property. He registered in Avni's name. He can clearly see the happiness and can do anything for that. They were staying there. They used to go home whenever they have check up. Neil already made her understand that they will be shifting to their home as he can't take risk travelling during their last months of pregnancy.

Avni's hormones doing nothing good to her and sometime Avni feel sick and she tried not to show infront of him. But he can clearly understand everything and always take care of her. He used to click picture of Avni during her every trimester. Avni always get excited whenever baby move in her tummy. She used to complain like a kid whenever the Baby kicks her.

"Bhilkul tumhari tarah hai tumhari bacchi...humesha tang karthe hai dhono mujhe " she use this dialogue making Neil chuckle

Avni wants a baby girl and so Neil.

They used to go check up and doctor always tell them positively.

Neil was travelling while Avni was pouting looking outside.

"Ice cream chaiyee?" he asked and tried to divert her as he know the reason behind her disappointment.

"Nahi..." she pouted cutely not looking at him while Neil looked at through the side mirror and smiled.

"Choclate?" he asked

"Nahi..."

He stopped the car and turned and took his bag where he had a choclate. Avni was still not looking at him and he intentionally made the wrapper sound to gain her attention. She turned to look at him and saw the Choclate.

"Vo meri Choclate hai ..." she said glaring at him

"Haa.. But you told me you don't want..."he acted innocently. She ignored him and snatched the Choclate from him and started munching it cutely.

" Avni... Hum phir Chale jaayenge... Delivery ke baad... Humara baby ke saath..."he said while she looked at him eating the chocolate.

" Pakka? "she asked while he nodded, smiling at her and kissed her cheeks while she grinned.

....
Once a night

Avneil were sleeping cuddling each other while Avni felt a sharp pain. She woke up suddenly feeling that. She turned and filled the glass with water. And again it felt it hard and glass fell from her hand. Neil heard a sound and woke up with jerk.

"Avni." he was panicked seeing her breathing heavily

"Ne... Neil... Ahh!" she shouted while he picked her in his arms and rushed down stairs. Prakash came outside and saw them and went to start the car. They rushed to hospital.

After sometime

Neil was walking outside the OP restlessly. He was so panicked. He can't control himself. He wanted to break the door and go and see Avni.

"Agar mujhe kuch hua tho... Baby hi humara nishaani hogi Neil..."

"I promise main baby ko kuch nahi hone dungi..."

"I promise main tumhe aur baby ko kuch nahi hone dunga"

Only these words were ranging on his brain. The doctor came out while Neil ran to her

"Doctor.." he asked

"she wants you to be with her..." the doctor said and turned towards Nurse.

"Please be quick.." the doctor said and Neil went along with the nurse.

He entered the Op after changing and his eyes filled with tears seeing her pain. He rushed towards her and hold her hand while she squeezed it tightly. She was giving full pressure and her head started dizzying and her vision was getting blurred.

"Avni.." he tapped her cheeks stopping from closing her eyes. Tears passing down his cheeks.

And at the next moment he heard the baby cries while his head shifted to the direction. Avni smiled through tears looking at the baby.

"It's a girl... Congratulations!" the doctor said while Neil looked at Avni who was already looking at him. He kissed her forehead.

He asked to move from there while he told the news to everyone happily. He went to regular doctor of Avni as he was called by her.

" Yes doctor.." he said while she congratulated him.

"Thank you doctor.." he said and smiled at her

"By god grace everything went fine... The next day or other we need to do MRI for Avni... To check her condition..." she said while he nodded.

Later on

Neil was sitting on stool holding her hand and looking at her pale face. She got conscious while Neil stood up seeing her. She gave a bright smile while a tear slipped from her eyes.

" We did it! " she said thanking God that nothing happened to her while Neil chuckled and was crying as well.

"Baby?" she was so much excited too see her little one.

Neil informed doctor and the nurse came with their baby. Her smiled widen till her ears seeing their baby. Tears were not stopping from her eyes. She held her in her arms and kissed all over the baby's face while Neil sat on the bed beside her. He caressed Avni's hair adoring her talking with baby.

"Neil.." she called and tapped her forehead as usual asking his kissie. He cupped her face and kissed her forehead and kissed their baby.

Her vision started to get blurred suddenly but she shrug it off seeing her jaan in her arms. She wanted to be with her some more time not caring about anything. She was blinking her eyes continously as everything become slightly blurred. She hugged her baby near to her chest feeling her. She looked at Neil and Neil felt a different kind of emotion in her eyes.

"Avni kya hua.." he asked sensing something wrong

She gave baby to him while he was totally confused. He called Neela ma and gave their baby to her. He then rushed to call doctor.

"Neil..." she started taking his name as she started feeling restless.

She was immediately shifted to ICU and started her with treatment. Neil felt so much emotion and was sitting idle outside the room. It seems everything okay just before but everything changed within a second. She undergone MRI scan and was waiting for the reports.

She told doctor that she wants to meet Neil. She was so stubborn so the doctor allowed him to see her. Neil entered and saw her attached with few tubes. She has a smile on her face. She opened her arms asking him to cuddle like he used to do her. He went near her and hold her hand. She tried to get up while he resisted. She stopped him and sat on the bed. She pulled him while he sat on the bed. They were so close and she was seeing him. She weekly placed her head on his shoulders holding his arms.

"Mujhe Jaane dho Neil..." she said while he closed his eyes letting his tears to fall.

"Mujhe Jaane dho.... Your love is stopping me... Abhi bhi dekho marte marthe bachi... Let me go.... I can't see you like this... I can't see you in pain..." she said while he made her to face him.

"Kabhi nahi... Kahi nahi Jaane dunga.... See.. I am fine... I am normal... Nothing happen to me..." he said smiling for her while she chuckled.

"Dikraha mujhse..." she said while he just looked at her eyes.

"Neil..." before she could speak he smashed his lips on hers, stopping her from talking rubbish. Her hands reached his shirt tightly while he was so gentle.

He broke the kiss within few minutes and touched his forehead with hers.

"You, Me and baby having a long life ahead..." He made her to lye down and went to meet doctor.

"doctor.." he called her

"Come in Neil...." he went further.

"She needs to be operated... It got bulged.. So surgery is mandatory..... Neil.. Its a bit risky... So please be ready for everything mentally" she said while he stood numb for a minute then agreed to her confidently.

She gave one week time and Neil handled Avni and family well. All were scared hearing her surgery but he asked them to be positive. He knows nothing happens to his Avni. Avni smiled seeing his immense love for her and her fear vanished. She was all set to go into OP. She turned and winked at Neil making him chuckle at her childishness and went in along with nurse.

.....

The home was filled with balloons and all the decorations. Neil was checking whether everything is perfect as it was his jaan's first birthday. Every decoration was in pink team. He went near Shwetha.

"Mom.. Nivi kaha hai?.. Ready karna hai.." he asked her

"Nivi is with Neela ji tillu...I guess she is in guest room..." she said while he nodded and moved towards the guest room.

He knocked the door and stepped in and saw Neela ma with his baby.

"Dekho kaun aaya hai.." Neela ma said while Neil smiled.

"Papa's princess... Comeon let's get ready..." he said picking her in his arms and nodded at Neela ma and left.

He kissed her cheeks while baby was playing with his beard making him feel ticklish. He opened the door of their room and placed the baby on the bed. He went to the closet searching for her dress.

He heard the washroom door getting opened which gain his attention and his head moved to see.

"Avni.." he was stunned seeing her in red saree and her hair was wet making no good on him. She gave a dead glare to him.

"Hatao..." she said asking him to move aside and took out the dress.

He hugged her from behind.

"Kya hua meri jaan ko..." he asked while Avni pushed him slightly.

"Tumhari vajase Main late hu aaj... Tumhe tho aaj romance karni thi..." she complained pouting making Neil chuckle.

"Aww..." he pulled her cheeks earning a glare from her.

"Dho..." he took the dress from her.

"You get ready... I will change for our baby..." he said and went near baby.

She dried her hair and was getting ready. While he made baby to get ready. Avni adored them looking at her jaan playing with their little jaan.

"Va.. Wa... Va.. He.." Nivi gave different sounds playing with her dad and was giggling to his talks.

"Haayee meri jaan..." she said and came near her and made her wear the crown as she was wearing white gown looking like princess.

Baby took the crown off from her head while Avni again made her wear it. Baby again took off the crown.

"Bhilul aapki papa ki tarah naughty ho..." she said looking at the baby and then looked at Neil who was raising his collar on proudness.

"kyunki yeh mera jaan hai.." he said kissing her soft cheeks.

"hai.. Ve... We.. He..." she also giggles along with Neil making Avni pout and smiled at the same time.

They went down. They greeted the guest and they cut the cake. Avni fed Neil and then baby while Neil did the same. They took many photos together. Avneil alone and along with baby. They enjoyed so happily.

In night

Nivi was sleeping on his chest. While Avni was sleeping on his shoulder wrapping her hands around as she was so tired. Neil looked at her lovingly and kissed her hairs. He parted away and slowly placed Nivi on the crib which was just beside him. He then took Avni on his arms hugging her closer while Avni stirred in sleep and hugged him more. The baby smiled in sleep may be dreaming of her mom and dad.
