Vidyut  checked his phone when he  saw ashish  message

Frowning he dialled ashish number wondering y he wanted to speak to him at this time

Ashish: hey son

Vidyut: hey ...all good dad?

Ashish: haan...vidyut I'll get to the point instead of wasting yours or my time

Vidyut: ok go ahead

Ashish: actually maa Said there is a ristha that has come for avni and...but before ashish could  continue   vidyut interrupted

Vidyut: kiddo  is still young dad  and i feel she  should focus  on her carrer he said when he heard dayawanti speak

Dayawanti: beta what you are saying is right but she can atleast  see the guy and if things go well  then she can get engaged to him and can marry after whenever they prefer .. it's not like they have to marry  straight away... at least we  should try and make avni agree to see the boy and like I said it doesnt  have  to be a yes in the first go at least convince her to see the guy and see how it goes from there

Vidyut closed his eyes and rubbed her forehead

Vidyut: ok fine  but after she meets the guy if she doesnt want to go ahead then the topic ends there he said to which dayawanti and ashish nodded

Ashish: one problem solved now I just hope avni agrees to see the guy at least

Vidyut: does mom know about this? He asked with a frown

Dayawanti: yes she does vidyut and she also said the same thing that we are telling you

Vidyut: ok he said with a sigh

After ending the call vidyut lay on his bed and was recalling ashish and dayawanti words...what the result may be he knew he had to talk to avni in the morning about this

The next day

Avni woke up and opened her eyes slowly when she felt a weight on her stomach...opening her eyes fully she looked to her side to see neil sleeping peacefully as his hands were protectively  around her waist...a smile came on her lips seen how cute he looked while sleeping when suddenly her eyes widened again recalling vidyut also been in the same apartment who probably must be awake by now

Avni: Neil...neil wake up she said trying to keep har voice low as she tried to move his hand away from her waist but instead his hold tightened

Neil: few more minutes avni he said trying to snuggle closer to her but avni kept on pushing him away

Avni: no more few minutes...you have to leave my room now because just incase if you have forgotten bhai is in the same apartment too

Neil: it's not like he comes to see you first thing in the morning

Avni: well sometimes he does and I have no interest in risking it she said making neil finally open his eyes

Neil: I'm so happy my friend is here but I'm also not happy that he is disturbing us in some way he said making avni hit him on the arm

Avni: he can never disturb us understood

She said sitting up but neil pulled her on top of his chest

Neil: make me understand he said moving his fingers into her tangle hair and slowly pulled her face down closer to his making avni Gulp as their lips were about to touch they heard a knock

Vidyut: kiddo you awake he asked?

Avni moved away from neil and got of the bed

Avni: give me 20 minutes bhai I'll meet the rest of you downstairs she said

Vidyut: ok..dont take long  he said

As they heard his footsteps dissapear avni  went towards the door and slowly opened it after unlocking it

Once she was completely sure that vidyut was not there she closed the door and walked over to neil

Avni: neil please go now she said

Neil got up and held avni shoulder

Neil : relax....nothing has happened for you to be tensed I'm going now ok he said cupping her cheeks..he had a desire to claim her lips but controlled knowing he wont be able to stop if kissed her

As neil left avni  locked the door  thinking  what would have happened if vidyut had heard her when she was trying to wake neil up

Avni had come down for breakfast only to see vidyut down as dd and neil were getting ready still as neil was told by dd to make a quick call to prakssh regarding the deal

Avni: morning bhai she said moving to hug him as he was seated at the dining table

Vidyut: morning kiddo he said giving a small smile

Avni: morning shanti aunty  she said peaking her head into the kitchen who instantly smiled back and greeted her

Vidyut: kiddo come here for a sec he said as he saw avni about to enter the kitchen

Avni nodded and came and sat next to vidyut

Its had been 2 minutes and avni watched vidyut as he seemed to be pondering over something making her tensed that if he had heard her waking neil up or him leaving her room

Avni: bhai all good ? she asked   slowly

Vidyut : all is good avni....but...avni felt a relief when he said all was good but a frown appeared on her face when he said but

Avni: but what?

Vidyut turned to face avni...he clasped her hand between his as she continued watching him with confusion

Vidyut: kiddo dad and dadi called me last night...they...thet said that they have seen a guy for you and... before vidyut could complete his sentence avni stood up as she moved away from him

Avni: no I dont want to get married she said looking away from him

Vidyut sighed and stood up...he held her shoulder

Vidyut: listen to me first...they want you to see the guy...if you deny after seen him then that's fine and if you even say yes after seen the guy you dont have to marry him straight away all that can wait once you finsh your studies and start working

Avni: bhai I...

Vidyut: dont decide in a rush think about what I said kiddo and I promise you that once you meet the guy if your answer is a no then nobody will force you. he said

Neil came and stood near the end of the stairs when vidyut said the last bit that if her answer is no then nobody will force her

Neil: all good he asked coming near them seen avni expression along with vidyut

Vidyut: all well neil he said and tapped avni shoulder before he sat down

Avni looked at neil to watch him looking at her and gave a small smile but inside she was thinking about what vidyut said only

Soon dd came down and shanti told about the places they can visit to which they can go too

Dd offered shanti to come who said she would love to come but she has to go to another work place too

Before leaving neil was trying to find a way to ask avni as she wasnt her talkative self during breakfast time but dd had come up to him and spoke regarding about work

As they left for the trip they decided to explore the ridge and then go to shop bazaar and then get something to eat and then head to mall road

Once they arrived to the destination they were looking around...neil couldnt go to avni as vidyut was constantly near avni who looked less interested in checking the places out...he was able to see vidyut trying to cheer avni up who was smiling a little now enjoying a little now and then but it was clear that something was bothering her and he needed to find a time alone to ask her

As they had stopped to get something to eat they sat at the table while vidyut and dd went to get something to eat leaving avneil alone

Neil: avni? Is something wrong he asked making her look up at him for the first time

Avni looked at neil for few good seconds and was about to open her mouth to speak when both dd and vidyut came back 

As they ate it was dd and vidyut who did most of the talking while neil would join in now and then and avni just started at her food as she ate silently.

After few hours they finished exploring and decided  to head back to the apartment

Around 5.45pm they reached and avni went to her room while the boys also got out and headed inside...vidyut called out to avni who had reached to her room but before he could call again he received a call from ashish and went to answer it

Dd also excused himself and Neil  found a chance to go and ask avni as he entered he saw her sitting on the couch with her face covered

As if sensing someone she looked up to see neil and got up instantly

Neil: what's wrong baby?  he asked as he neared her

Avni couldnt contain it and hugged neil who hugged her back

Few seconds later he broke the hug and  stroked her cheeks

Avni: Neil... bhai said that my family has...has seen a guy....for...for me and want to me to meet him...but I dont want to...bhai said if I dont want to go ahead after seen him then that will be my final decision...but then what if more alliance comes afters that? I cant keep rejecting it...they would question me in the future

Neil: so that is y vidyut had said nobody will force if your answer is no...

Avni: haan

Neil: and you know vidyut means what he says right

Avni: I know but

Neil: avni...dont stress about what will happen in the future vidyut himself said that nobody will force you after that if your answer is no...I know how much vidyut is serious when its regards your studies and all and he is very protective of you...once you meet the guy just say no and that you are not actually ready for all this..ok he said making avni nod slowly as she calmed down a littlen

Avni: I'm sorry but somewhere there was a fear of you probaby ending whatever is between us because of this alliance she said biting her lips in the end

Neil: I would never...never do that he said as he pulled her closer earning a gasp to escape from her mouth

Neil started tracing her lips with his thumbs as he pulled her more closer wheras avni hands automatically went behind his neck and claimed her lips...both  drowned into it when avni broke the kiss after a while...her heart still beating widely

Neil looked at her swollen lips and pulled her bottom lips down with his thumb

He was about to claim her lips when

Vidyut: avni I just spoke...suddenly he stopped in his track seen avneil in that position...shock was written on his face

Avneil had moved away from each other when they heard vidyut but it was too late...both looked at each other and then at vidyut

Vidyut closed his eyes and then opened it but seen neil in avnis room made it clear that what he saw was true and her swollen lips also gave away what must have happened

Vidyut: what the hell is going on here he said in a cold tone

Neil: vidyut...bhai...look I can..i can explain he sir

Vidyut: explain what that you both kissed and you was about to do it again  he said so coldly making avni shiver with fear for the first time this wasnt her brother as she never has heard him speak that coldly

Her fingers touched her lips knowing vidyut nuat have known by her swollen lips

Neil: vidyut we both willingly.... but vidyut interrupted him

Vidyut: here I was thinking my sister is working hard and my friend is helping her but nooo my sister is working hard in this way and this is how my so called best friend is helping her he said

Neil: enough vidyut...I agree that you are shocked...we both have been working hard and we have always kept work separate...avni is working hard for her work experience and I promise you that

Vidyut: keep your fake promise to yourself...I seriously hadnt epxted this from both of you he said and left the room as he walked toward his while avneil followed him to his room

Neil: vidyut listen to me  he said once reaching inside

Vidyut: shut up...shut the f**k up neil he said looking at him angrily

Avni:bhai..Bhai  I...she said sobbing but she couldnt continue as vidyut glared at her

Vidyut: you better be quiet avni otherwise it wont be good for you he said glaring at her

Avni flinched with the way vidyut spoke to her and how he addressed her with her  name as he always has called her kiddo...she has always been his kiddo

Neil: what's your problem dude? Just because I'm with your sister and you caught us in an imitate position this is how you behave? You was all cool when all this was normal when we was in abroad

Neil suddenly fell back not expecting vidyut to push him getting up he looked annoyingly at his friend

Vidyut: that is my sister...my fu**ing sister

Neil: who willingly is with me he said seriously

Vidyut angrily punched him on the face making avni cover her mouth

Avni : bhai lis...listen please

Vidyut: I have told you to be quiet right avni...your actions have spoken enough he said

Avni shook her head knowing all is messed up

Neil: you know what if you cant deal with the truth then it's not our problem he said

Vidyut was ready to attack neil when avni came in between

Avni: bhai please dont...neil is right I willingly went to him...he never tried to force himself on me she said trying to be brave but deep Down she knew she was hell scared

Vidyut: willingly or unwillingly whatever it is but it's over

Neil: you have no rights to decide that

Vidyut: I clearly do she is my sister ...what is she to you

For the first time neil didnt know what to say as he and avni never gave a name to whatever is between them as it was sexual attraction what had made them come closer

Vidyut: do you know what people call a women that is with a man but  has no name to that  relation? A mistress he said coldly looking at avni and then at neil

Avni eyes widend she and neil both knew that she was never his mistress

Neil: for your kind information avni and me may not have a name but she is not my mistress what we share is something you will never understand we both are committed to each other and nobody else

Vidyut: for how long? 1 week? 2 week ? A month? He asked mockingly

Avni: bhai pleaseeee

Vidyut: y? Didnt you think about all this before? Be honest avni you both have taken this so called committed relation far right?

Avni looked at vidyut and then looked down

Neil: that is none of your business

Vidyut: your silence and head down gives your answer avni he said ignoring neil as his voice cracked a little

Dd: is all good he asked as he entered with shanti as they heard the loud noises  but not clearly

Vidyut: perfectly well  ...me and avni are leaving he said forcing a smile as he looked at dd and then shanti

Avni: but bhai?

Vidyut: aunty can you pack avni clothes for me he said to which shanti nodded giving avni one last look

Ignoring both avneil in the room vidyut started to pack

Vidyut: keep your hands of each other when I'm not facing you he said mockingly

Neil: vidyut think calmly please...you are taking any decision in a haste

Vidyut : leave us alone for now neil please I hope you can do that much he said turning to neil

Neil was about to deny but one look at avni made him chew his words away and left the room unwillingly
