Avni woke up... her head was hurting a lot she was about to get up when she saw Riya sleeping next to her

Avni: gosh my head ....y is it hurting so much ?...she tried to get her phone to look at the time when She noticed Juhi message which said

Juhi text:
U and Riya got drunk last Night since u both took someelse drink by mistake. We told everyone that us girls were busy talking and during that u and Riya fell asleep. So do let Riya know just in case if anyone asks.

Avni tried to recollect the previous night incident by closing her eyes... she was trying a lot when her eyes shot open remembering what she did

Avni: omg what did I do...I said all that to Neil in that state now what shall i do? No I can't let my effort of staying away from him go to waste I will just have to act as if I don't remember what happened. Yeah that is a good idea

Riya: ouch my  head

Avni looked at Riya

Riya: babes what am I doing in your room

Avni told her how they got drunk and what the others told their family

Riya: how didn't I realise the strong Taste

Avni: what's done is done now come on let's get ready we both have work and also take some lemon water or tablets so that this headache goes away

Riya nodded and went to her room to get ready

Meanwhile Neil was getting ready and went downstairs

Neil: dad

Prakash: Haan puttar

Neil: I will be coming to office a little late as I have some work

Prakash: ok that's fine. Do u need help with whatever work u r going to do?

Neil: no dad I will be able to sort it out myself

Bebe: Neil have breakfast at least

Neil: no Bebe I'm going to meet Vidyut so will have it then

Avni reached to the office and as usual she gave Vidyut his coffee

Vidyut: AM how u feeling now

Avni. Good and thanks for yesterday

Vidyut: anything for u . I am leaving for an important meeting will see u later

Avni: good luck to u since u have worked hard on the presentation and I hope U comeback with some good news

Vidyut: thanks he said giving a side hug to Avni

Vidyut left his cabin and thought to himself: good luck to u too AM as u have someone waiting for u in your cabin

Avni left Vidyut cabin and walked to her cabin...she greeted some staff memebers and opened her cabin door when she saw someone standing near the window looking outside

Her pace became slow as she recognised who it was

Neil as if sensing her turned around ... for a sec Avni got lost in the way he was dressed in formal clothes looking handsome

Neil: hi

Avni came back to reality her cheeks slightly red

Avni: hi..um Vidyut is not here as he has gone for a meeting .. she said walking towards her desk and placed her bag on it

Neil: I'm not here to meet Vidyut he said sitting on the couch on the left hand side

Avni was confused at Neil's behaviour however her mind was telling her it was something to do with last night.. especially the things she said to him

Avni: then? she asked playing with her ring

Neil's smiles slowly seen Avni fidgeting with her ring he knew Avni always does that when she is nervous

Neil: I'm in your cabin so obviously I came to meet u . Y r u standing come sit

Avni gave a fake smile and sat on the couch next to Neil. He leaned forward while looking at her

Avni: y did u come here she said clasping both her hands together and looked at Neil who was staring at her

Neil: i came to ask u about last night he said not looking away from her

Avni in her head: great i knew it. Calm down Avni just go with the plan u made act like u don't remember anything

Avni: what about last night? She said normally

Neil raised his eyebrows

Neil: after u got drunk and the things u said to me in your room

Avni: neil i seriously don't know what u r talking about she said getting up

Neil: Avni just say it he said getting up too

Avni looked at Neil

Avni: say what? Look Neil I have some work to do and I seriously don't have any idea what u r taking about

Neil: really? He asked sarcastically

Avni knew Neil once he gets his head in something then he will do it but she is stubborn too.

Avni: leave Neil she said crossing her arms looking at him sternly

Neil. Not until u answer my question

Avni: it's nothing to do with u she said turning around

Neil: it has everything to do with me especially after what u said in your room last night he said turning her around with full force

Avni: I don't know what u r talking about besides I was drunk so I don't remember Anything  she said trying to be strong

Neil: don't worry I remember everything u said so let me refresh your memory.

Avni gulped

Avni: I don't want to know anything she said trying to speak normally but it came out as a whisper

Neil:  y? Because u already know what u said right.

Avni got flashes of the moments spent with Neil and then how she had to make the decision  to break up with him which is only known to her and Juhi.. she closed her eyes for a sec and then moved Neil's hands away from her arm

Avni: no I don't and I have no interest in knowing now please leave she said glaring at him

Neil was angry now he started walking slowly towards Avni while she started moving backwards ...this continued until her back touched the wall. Neil placed both us against  the wall blocking her from both sides

Neil: y r u doing this Avni? Y r u playing with my emotions ?..u broke up with me giving a stupid reason I didn't believe it but came to terms with it...After so many years we meet and u give me different reactions one minute u show That u still feel for me and the next min u act like we hardly know each other

Avni: that's your opinion I never gave u any different  reactions for u to think like that

Neil looked angrily at avni and moved his hands away from the wall and in a sec Avni found herself close to Neil with his hands around her waist while hers were on his chest

Neil: then what was last night about Avni..u were saying how u miss been close to me , how u still love me.. who is this person that keeps on sending u note along with your pics

Avni was looking away from Neil when he spoke but when he mentioned about the notes and pics she was in shock and looked at him

Neil: speak Avni he said a little loudly

Avni: I'm not answerable to any of your questions this is my life so stay out of it she said pushing Neil away from her and walked to the door holding it open.

Neil looked at avni sternly who was looking straight avoiding Neil gaze

Neil: if u think u can get away from this then u r wrong. I won't be in peace until I get my answer from u he said looking at avni who kept a straight face

Once Neil left Avni closed the door sliding down against it and held her knees ...the tears which she tried to stop finally flew out... she wanted to hug Neil and tell him everything but she couldn't. She was sobbing really badly but covered her mouth so nobody hears.
Suddenly Neil's words came back in her mind

"who is this person that keeps on sending u note along with your pics "

Avni: how did Neil find out this I didn't even say it yesterday. In fact I didn't even mention it to anyone except Juhi. .. did Juhi tell Neil?..no no no if she did then he would have known the full truth and as far as i know Juhi she promised she won't tell anyone then how?

Avni thought for a second and called Juhi

Juhi: hey how r u feeling now

Avni: Juhi we need to meet

Juhi could sense Avni was crying due to her voice

Juhi: what happened?

Avni: meet me at the office I will tell u then

Juhi: ok I'll be there soon

Juhi was sitting in Avni cabin while avni briefed her everything.

Juhi: I didn't even tell Vidyut anything then how did Neil find out and that also so soon

Avni. Even I'm thinking but my brain has just stopped working.. both unaware that Vidyut was the one to find out about the notes and picture

Avni: did Vidyut know Neil was waiting for me in my cabin? And if he did then y didnt he say anything? She said looking at Juhi who also started to think over Avni question

Meanwhile Neil was in his cabin he was lucky as he didn't have much work as his mind kept going back to what happened in Avni cabin

Neil heard his phone ring and was about to cut it when he saw Vidyut name showing.

Vidyut: any luck

Neil: no...
Neil then told Vidyut everything that happened

Vidyut: only two people can tell us and that is only Avni and Juhi

Neil: I had made up my mind that I will forget Avni and move on but now I won't leave her not after knowing that she loves me

Precrap: Neil: mom u remember I loved a girl in college

Shweta: Haan but y r u brining it up how

Neil: that girl is none other than Avni

Shweta looked at Neil shockingly.. Shweta turned around lost in thoughts while Neil slowly smirked

Ok my lovelies here is chap 9 I don't know how it came out but I tried my best
