Shruti: sir we wouldn't want u to leave like that how about a leaving party later on after work one of the worker said

Boss: ofcourse there can never be a no for the party.

Shruti:, thank u sir

Boss:right so all of u can get back to work while I'll discuss few things with Neil...

As avni was leaving neil was constantly staring at her with a smile while she avoided looking at him.

Avni reached to her cabin and closed the door...she felt choked and moved near the window as her breathing was getting heavy...but after secs her breathing started to get back to normal while images of neil walking into that conference room flashed in front of her mind....a small smile came onto her face seen him after so long  but then she frowned recalling something that neil said to her in the past 

Flashback

Neil:u know what avni u suffocate me now.. I had been thinking about this for a long time but now I have come to a conclusion when u had gone to mumbai...

Avni: i suffocate u ? R u for serious neil?... all I wanted was u been there ...just because I told u how disappointed i was for not having u there makes u behave this way...

Neil:  what u think or dont think doesnt matter for me anymore all I know is that I feel suffocated with u and this relation so the best thing to do is let's break up.. its OVER .and I'm damn serious ..avni froze for a sec but stopped neil when she saw him about to walk away

Avni: it's not that easy to break up just like that Neil she said stopping him from leaving

Neil:it is.. besides I dont feel that love for u anymore and there is no point of waisting more time together..so now get it into your head we r no longer together and there is nothing between us

End of flashback

Avni: it's been 4 years, 4 years since u ditched me out of the blue claiming that u dont love me anymore, claiming that we were just wasting time been together, there is nothing between us.. I should hate u for breaking my heart and not been there with me when I needed u the most...and now seen u after all these years I'm still not able to hate u neil.... y am I even giving u importance by thinking about u... avni your motive is to gain a name for yourself not thinking about your broken love story so get a grip

Few hours later

Few staff had got half of the office decorated to celebrate last day with their boss

Shruti had been assigned to give out the new contract papers to everyone which was given by  manoj (boss)

Shruti: avni here sign this

Avni:, what is this ?

Shruti: Suri sir gave some papers to sign.. we all have signed it u also do it

Avni:if suri sir gave it then it's no issues it would be  Benefitcal for us

Shruti:haan but read it at least we all did it's a new con... but avni interrupted her

Avni: it's ok no need I trust him and all of u too.. of u all signed it then why shall I not

Shruti:u r mad she said smiling and Took the papers from avni .

Avni: I know she said smiling ..

Shruti left avni cabin and gave the contract papered signed by all employees to suri

Manoj: did everyone read and sign it

Shruti:yes sir we all read it and signed...

Manoj nodded and shruti left while he handed the papers to neil who saw avni signature which was on top..

Neil: avni signed it despite reading what is written? He thought to himself

neil excused himself and caught up with shruti

Neil: shruti hold on a sec

Shruti:, yes sir u need anything ?

Neil: r u sure u all read the terms and conditions on the paper

Shruti:yes sir we did..but y r u asking I mean I told u in front of suri sir

Neil:that I know but I wanted to make sure nobody has a problem and everyone read it properly 

Shruti:well we did except avni.. she trust suri sir alot so signed it as we all signed it too I tried to tell her it's new contract papers but she didnt let me complete

Neil:ohh I see... well dont worry I'm here to explain if she is not aware...u can go now

Shruti nodded and left while neil smiled

Avni was about to head home when her friends shruti and meera forced her to stay back for their old boss but still avni denied however they convinced her to stay back for suri sir so she couldn't say no

Neil walked towards the party area with the ex boss..his eyes roamed around seen all enjoying when it landed on the figure he wanted to see

Avni was standing near the balcony looking at the busy road when she stiffened feeling a presence which she was familiar with.

She felt him come and stand near her but didnt dare to look at him

Neil:, how r u avni he asked looking at her but didnt get a respond.

Avni was about to turn and walk away when her boss came

Boss:ahh neil I was just going to give u an intro of avni..she is a very hardworking girl..give her any work and she will make sure it's done... avni has been one of those employee who has made me more proud he said patting avni head who smiled at him slightly

Neil: then it will be interesting to work with her he said looking at her but she still didn't turn to look at him

Avni: sorry sir I got to go..but u have been one amazing boss and we will defo stay in touch

Boss: good luck avni and my blessing will always be with u...and I will surely be in contact with u all ... neil will be the best boss for u guys I can guarantee u that

Avni smiled and started to walk away while she was able to feel Neil's gaze on her back.

40 mins later avni reached home....she walked to the kitchen taking a water bottle out from the fridge...while neela was cooking 

Neela:bacha u came early today

Avni:haan maa woh our boss is leaving today so we finished early as a party was held

Neela:u didnt stay back for the party?

Avni:I stayed for a bit only.

Neela: so who is your new boss then.

Avni stopped drinking water and looked at neela

Avni: y does it matter maa she said after a while

Neela : arien what sort of answer is that

Avni:maa u r the one who says dont talk about office Matter during family time and u r doing that ...anyways I'm going to freshen up 

Neela watched avni leave and shook her head..

Avni walked into riya room to see she wasnt there... she needed someone to talk to Right now and after riya the next person she could think of was juhi.

As avni reached to her room she dialled juhi number

Meanwhile Neil was standing in the office balcony while the party was still going on ... he had seen the shock on avni face seen her after so long. It was the same just like when he had announced he wanted to break up with her but he had no choice as he had to take this step after a lot of thinking and he knew he had to make some changes to the company contract because he was sure once avni finds out he is the boss she will have something running in her head.

Flashback 

Few days ago

Neil: manoj uncle I thank u once again for allowing me to take over this company..

Manoj: come on neil u r prakashs son I have known u since u was a child who else could have been a better person to take over this company.

Neil: thank u so much.

Manoj:these r few documents about the company also this is the contract file for all employee.

Neil opened the contract file and then looked at manoj .

Neil:I want to make some changes to this contract if that is ok .

Manoj:certinally I'll talk to the union to get the contract changed for u and I'm sure employees wont mind. ..but what changes?

Neil: that I will tell u in a bit but how long will it take to get it changed  .

Manoj:I know few people we can go there now and it all will be done u just need a to explain what changes u r making 

Neil:I'm ready to do that...manoj nodded and left with neil.

End of flashback.

Neil : I had to keep u away that time avni but now I wont let u go far away and that is a promise he said to himself

Neil: what makes u think I'll accept this  he said smirking

Avni: by contract rules if a employee wants to leave they can she said finally looking at him to see that smirk on his face which was not doing any good to her
