Vidyut and Neil turned to see Juhi and walked to her.

Juhi: hi she said to both while they responded back...

Neil: Juhi I... before he could say anything juhi spoke

Juhi:u don't need to say anything we know y we r here.. all I want to know do u love Avni?

Neil: I... i dont know if it's love  but ever since I met her i cant get her of my mind.. the more I try not to think ...her face keeps appearing in front of my face.. been with her makes me happy... I feel like a different person.. her smile.. it.. it just has some magic.. I don't know if I'm making sense but I want to know her even more.. there is just something about her that is drawing me closer to her

Juhi: what if it's only attraction

Neil:I doubt it.. I feel it's more than attraction.. Juhi smiled

Juhi:so u do have a liking for her.. I must say u r honest haan

Vidyut:of course he is.. and he will never break avni heart in any way.

Juhi: I see she said smiling at vidyut

Neil:so does avni know about

Juhi:not really I mean last night I did tell her that I feel u like her but she thought I'm just assuming.. however I did make your work easy

Vidyut: how is that?

Juhi:I told avni that if Neil asks her out on a date she won't say no.

Neil felt a little relaxed hearing juhi say that

Neil:thanks juhi

Juhi: thank me after.. but first tell when do u plan to take my friend out

Neil:first let me ask her

Vidyut:I guess u should do it asap

Juhi: Vidyut is right...What time do u think u will leave from the police station

Neil:not sure... maybe a little early I guess I mean if there is no big problem then I'll reach at the orphanage by 7pm 

Juhi:perfect we were planning to leave the orphanage at 8pm. anyway

Neil:ok then see u later on then

Vidyut: we could drop u

Juhi: that's sweet of u guys but I need to go to the market which is 5mins away so it will take a while.. Vidyut was a little disappointed while juhi said bye and left

Neil was standing in front of the orphanage it was 6:50pm.. he looked at his watch and then back at sukoon ghar

Neil: come on Neil u can do this... he took a deep breath and started to walk towards the main door... after a lot of effort his fingers managed to press the door bell waiting for someone to answer it...

Few seconds later the door opened.. sunheri frowned seen neil as she thought she had seen him  and then rembered she had seen him with Avni as his shirt had coffee spilt by avni

Sunheri: umm...u r.... gosh I'm sorry I forgot your name

Neil: Neil he said smiling.

Sunheri:yes that's it sorry I forgot

Neil: no it's ok.. um is avni here.. although he knew the answer to that as Juhi told ...he still asked

Sunheri: yeah she is y don't u come in

Neil nodded while sunheri made way for him to come in and then closed the door

Sunehri: Avni

Avni who was discussing about grocery  with Tara and sitara looked up when she heard sunheri call her  but then she was surprised to see Neil walking behind her

Sunheri: Neil is here to meet u.. she said..... juhi who just came from the kitchen saw Neil and smiled

Juhi:Neil what a pleasent surprise she said pretending not to expect him

Neil: yah.. I actually came to meet avni.. he said .. But from the inside he was nervous..

Avni: me?

Sunheri: well your name is Avni na so obviously he is talking about u ...Avni glared at sunheri and then looked at Neil.. after what juhi told her she felt nervous

Juhi:Tara sitara lets go and see if the kids r sleeping

Sunheri: I'll go and make some coffee she said understanding what juhi was trying to do to give avneil privacy to talk

Once all left Avni looked at Neil to see him standing

Avni: u can sit down Neil

Neil: umm if u don't mind can we go out and talk while taking a walk

Avni: uh yah sure she said smiling.. trying to behave all normal but from inside she was wondering as to what Neil wanted to talk about that he visited at night

Neil:let's go then

Avni: juhi I'm going out for a bit will be back ok she said a bit loudly

Juhi:don't worry take your time she said coming out of the room Avni nodded and turned facing Neil while Neil looked at juhi who lifted her thumb up and mouthed "best of luck" to which he nodded his head slightly

Neil opened the door for Avni and allowed her to walk out first and then closed the door

For 5 mins they were walking silently....

Avni: so? She said looking at the pavement  while walking but when she didn't get any response she looked up at Neil and frowned to see him lost  as it felt like  if he was thinking about something

Avni:Neil .. she said tapping on his arms..  Neil looked at her and stopped walking

Neil: hmmm what happened he said coming out of his thoughts.

Avni: u tell me what happened?... I mean what did u want to talk about?

Neil: Avni I... the Thing is.. I...

Avni: im listening... Neil nodded taking a deep breath.. he closed his eyes for a brief second and then looked at avni.

Neil: Avni I don't know how to start of.. I.. the Thing is.. Avni when ever I'm around u I feel totally different.. like seen u smile makes me smile it makes me feel peaceful.. I love spending time with u.. I don't know what I'm feeling for u is love but I know that I want to spend more time with u and get to know u more... will u.. will u come out with me tomorrow

Avni: what? She said blankly.

Neil: see i don't want anything to be awkward between us if u r not comfortable I'll be fine with it.. I don't want to lose u as a friend.

Avni cheeks were red.. she recalled juhi's word

Avni: Neil I.. I'm sorry but i actually don't know how to react I mean... I never knew u felt this way.. and I enjoy my time with u but.. But i don't know my exact feeling for u Neil... But tell me one thing r u asking me out on a date?

Neil: that's fine avni.. we still can get to know each other properly before moving to the next step... well yes I'm asking u out on a date... and I'm sure that's not a problem

Avni: um yeah so then I accept your proposal.... Avni looked at Neil and then down at her hand..

Neil was happy.

Neil:thank u so much Avni u don't know how much nervous I was

Avni:well somewhere even I was nervous.... But this doesn't mean we r dating right?

Neil: nope let's just go with the flow... as we will get to know each other... our feelings for each other will also clear and maybe we will be able to take a decision from there.

Avni nodded and smiled.

Avni:so what's the plan for tommrow

Neil:someone is eager to know

Avni: well not eager but u know like be prepared for  tomorrow.

Neil: I see he said smiling.

Avni: so shall we go now. She said about to turn but Neil held her wrist stopping her.

Neil: Avni

Avni: what happened?

Neil:u didn't accept under any pressure right?

Avni:no she said smiling warmly .. although juhi did make her promise to agree if Neil ask her out but she felt his words were geninune  when he was telling her how he felt... which made her agree and most importantly he respected her decision

Avni:now shall we go.

Neil: yh...

Both started walking back

Neil: so what time u going home

Avni:planned to leave at 8

Neil:do u want me to drop u of

Avni:it's ok Neil I bought my car

Neil:hmmm he said and both continued walking..

there was many things to ask yet but not now.. both were waiting to go with flow and see how things go.. and as they get to know other their questions in their mind would get cleared too

Avni: so here we r.

Neil:yup

Avni:ok then bye she said about to turn but Neil grabbed her hand this time.

Avni lips parted and she turned around to look at him... Neil moved a little closer keeping a bit of distance  between them

Neil:be ready tomorrow at 5pm I will come and pick u up.

Avni:from where? she whispered.. Neil smiled.

Neil: u tell me from where... here or from metha mansion?

Avni: metha mansion she whispered again.

Neil: r u just going to stare and not blink he said smiling boysihly and let go of her hand.

Avni frowned and realised how she got lost for a sec as he was close to her.

Avni:of course I will blink I'm a human.. see u tomorrow she said quickly opening the door with her  keys while Neil smiled seen her reaction and left from there.

Meanwhile at the metha mansion riya was going to her room after getting some ice cream when she stopped near dayawanti room hearing neela and dayawanti talk

Neela:maa I think we should give it a go I mean yes they get along well but just imagine if they take so much time to become good friends.. we should just tell avni and Neil that we fixed their alliance long back.. and for that they could get to know each other and see how things go.

Riya:omg she whispered.

Dayawanti: u r right but how will we tell avni I mean what if she has someone in her life that she hasn't told us about yet

Neela:Avni is not the one to hide it from us if she is with someone i mean she knows how supportive we r... But let's ask her and see although I know there is nobody in her life at the moment.

Dayawanti: ok let's talk to her once she is back from the orphanage and then after we have told her we will wait for the khanna family to tell Neil

Neela nodded

Riya quickly ran to her room with her ice cream packet and closed the door

Riya: oh my god i can't believe this avni and Neil alliance fixed.. and here Neil planned to ask avni out.. this is called destiny now it feels like these two r made for each other let me call Ali and tell him..

She was about to dial Ali's  number then stopped

Riya: no i can't tell ali yet.. think riya think... idea Juhi is the only who I can tell at the moment and after I'll let Ali know

Meanwhile avni went to see juhi collecting her stuff

Avni:all set?

Juhi:yup so how did it go.. Avni became alert

Avni:how did what go

Juhi:come on avni Neil came at night to talk to u and that too privately so it's common what he wanted to talk about.

Avni:uh..no..ac

Juhi: Avni.. I'm your friend yaar. Come on

Avni: ok fine i said yes happy...

Juhi:omg I'm so happy come here and give me a hug

Avni:wait let me clear one thing he is only taking me out on a date...and we will see how things go between us so till then don't think we r in relationship ok

Juhi: whatever for me u guys r she said moving to hug avni

Suddenly juhi's phone rang avni saw it was riya as Juhi was still near her

Juhi: hey riya

Riya:babes I got something important u know I was going to my room but when I was near Dadi's room I heard her talk to neela chachi where they were literally talking about Avni and Neil alliance

Juhi : what !.. Avni frowned and looked  at juhi

Riya:seriously babes even I was shocked.

Juhi: what else did they say

Riya: that they will talk to avni when she is back and after that they will inform Neil's family so that they can tell Neil

Juhi:I see.. chal anyways catch u later ok

Riya: bye babes

Avni :what happened what did she say.. Juhi smiled naughtily

Juhi:u will find out when u reach home for now let's go so said collecting her belongings

Avni:juhi just tell me.

Juhi: no now come on let's go she dragging her while avni still continued to ask her but  juhi kept on saying the same thing

Avni had dropped juhi to her flat and was heading to the metha mansion but right now all that was on her mind was what riya must have told.

Avni entered inside the metha house and straight away walked up the stairs to meet riya

Neela:Avni beta wait we need to talk to u she said coming back from the garden with Dayawanti

Avni: maa just give me a min I need to talk to riya

Neela: arien but Listen.. however avni didn't stop and went to riya's room

Avni:riya.. Riya she said opening  the door and entered

Riya: what happened babes she said coming out of the washroom

Avni: what did u tell juhi that she isn't ready to tell me

Riya: didn't dadi or chachi tell u ?

Avni:tell me what? First u tell me what did u tell juhi

Riya: the Thing that chachi and dadi were going to talk to u about

Avni:can't u just say it

Riya:y don't u go and ask them and hear it for once... instead of me telling u and then both of them telling u again

Avni shook her head and walked out of the room heading back down

Avni:maa...maaa what did u want to tell me ? Even Riya isn't telling me and told me to ask u both

Neela and dayawanti looked at each other and then at riya who was behind avni

Riya:I heard u both.. that's y ....she said answering their unasked question

Neela: ok Avni come and sit with us

Avni sat down while neela held her hand

Neela:bacha don't take us wrong with whatever we r going to tell u

Avni:u know I won't just come straight to the point

Neela: the Thing is.. all of us as in me, maa, shweta and bebe thought that.. basically u know.. we actually thought to fix yours and Neil's alliance together.. this was planned long back and we were waiting for them to come back.. we thought of telling u this news after u and Neil become good friends but then we thought that it's best if u both get to know eachother from now on so that u know where this heads

Avni looked at neela... her eyes widening with her mouth forming a 'o' shape

Dayawanti: beta say something

Avni: umm does Neil know about this I mean did his family tell him she said some where Thinking that May be Neil knew about it and that's y came to ask her out today

Neela:no he doesn't we both family decided not to tell u both yet.. But after I tell shweta  that I tell her that I told u she will speak to Neil she said getting rid of avni's doubt

Dayawanti: beta Neil's family is nice and even Neil is plus u both were friends before he left to go away for further studies

Avni: that's true dadi but... understanding, trust and loves needs to be there na

Neela: as u get to know a person u get to know them what they r like... with Neil even that will happen

Avni nodded

Dayawanti: so shall we go ahead and tell Harleen

Avni: yup but can we first get to know each other properly and see how things go from there as I don't want to rush into anything

Avni was about to get up and go but then stopped

Avni: I actually have something to say

Neela:bolo bacha

Avni:umm Neil asked me out on a date.. don't ask me more I said yes and that's all u all needs to known for now she said running up seen the excitement on neela and dayawanti face

Riya:I'm going to decide the best outfit for Avni she said going to her room while dayawanti and neela shook their head seen Riyas excitement

Avni was in her room pacing back and forth.

Avni: is this for real over there Neil's asks me out on a date and here maa and dadi break this news to me.. like I wonder what else is in store now

At khanna mansion shweta was getting dinner served when the house phone rang

Ragini:I'll see who it is she said getting up..  shweta nodded.

Ragini:hello ?

Neela:hello ragini it's me neela

Ragini:hi neela everything ok?

Neela:yes all of good actually we called to tell u that we told avni about how we all planned to fix her alliance with Neil

Ragini:neela hold on... bebe.. shweta neela is saying she told avni about fixing her alliance with Neil... Ali and Vidyut were surprised hearing this and looked at each other

Shweta:put it on loud speaker .. all came near to where ragini stood

Ragini:haan neela continue

Neela:haan so we told her that.. and she is ok with it... But she said she would prefer to get to know Neil better and then see how things go from there

Bebe : that is completely fine neela and we will talk to Neil and let u know

Dayawanti:by the way we know Neil will agree and say the same thing

Shweta:how?

Neela:because avni told us your tillu asked her out on a date...

Vidyut and Ali chuckled silentenly hearing that as Neil texted them saying "date tommrow with her"

Shweta:oh my gods this boy didn't even let us know anything

Neela:chalo let us know what he says still

Shweta: of course bye

Once they ended the call prakash spoke

Prakash: shweta ji we may not have known but two people in this house definitely know he said and all turned and looked at Vidyut and Ali who smiled cheekily ..

At that time Neil entered

Shweta:u both keep your mouth closed.. time to tease my son a little bit.

Bebe: what r u going to do

Shweta: wait and watch

Shweta got her mobile phone and placed it near her ear

Shweta:of course neela.. Yes definitely.. I'm glad u found a guy for Avni.. yea definitely we will come over tommrow that's fine.. But did avni agree to it.. oh right I see.. Yes yes.. I'm sure since u found the guy for her he must be good.. ok bye neela see u tommorow she said a little loudly while all watched on

Neil stopped in his track hearing shweta say all this

Neil in his head:Avni alliance is getting fixed with someone.. But how is that possible.. mom asked if avni agreed but don't know what neela aunty said.. But then we r going on a date tomorrow and Avni knows I sort of have a liking for her then y would she agree as she would have told her family that we r going out tommrow when they told her about this so called guy

Bebe: Neil beta u came come go and freshen up and then we will have dinner she said making him come out of his thoughts

Neil:um yeah bebe.. But what were u talking about mom

Shweta: woh neela called saying she has found a guy for Avni and they r coming to see her tomorrow

Neil:but how is that possible he blurted out

Shweta: matlab ?

Neil:no I meant like did avni agree

Shweta:u tell us do u think Avni agreed

Neil:how would I know mom ?

Shweta looked at her family.

Ragini:yes beta I guess she agreed that's y neela invited us over too right

Neil: but that can't be possible bua as me and Avn r.. But he stopped realising

Prakash:u and Avni r what

Neil: nothing he said looking away

Shweta:no u actually said this can't be possible as u and Avni r what?

Neil:mom notning.

Ali:arien yaar just tell them that u r taking her out on a date he said... Neil glared at ali

Bebe:aliii tum bhi na.. now we can't tease him anymore

Neil:tease he asked forwning

Shweta:haan neela told us that u r taking out Avni on a date we was just teasing u

Neil:oh

Bebe: waisen Neil u know if u hadn't asked avni out on a date we was going to tell u to get to know her properly as when we were in London we actually planned to fix yours and avni's wedding

Neil:wait what

Vidyut:u heard it bro

Neil:seriously?

Ragini: seriously.. So now my nephew is no longer single

Neil: actually I am taking her out on a date but we will get to know each other properly before taking any decision till then nothing

Ali:same here.. Neil rolled his eyes

Prakash:so what time do u plan to take avni out tommrow

Neil: I'll be picking her up at 5pm

Ali: and what have u planned

Neil: what people usually plan on a date

Ali: wow he said sarcastically

Bebe:chalo now let's have dinner

The next day it was a normal day for everyone except Avneil

Neil had left around 6am while avni didn't plan to go to the orphanage today

Riya came with few outfits for Avni

Avni:what r u doing

Riya:planning to get u ready for your date she said trying the dress against avni

Avni: riyaa

Riya:this one is perfect .. and haan Juhi wants me to send her all the pics once u r ready ok

Avni:u both r mad

Riya: yeah even u r

Riya: so how do u feel

Riya: Avni be serious.. have u got any idea on what Neil has planned

Avni : no Riya..and to be honest I'm a little bit nervous

Riya: dont be just behave with him like how u usually do.. the only difference is he is taking u out on a date

Avni:also has a liking add that bit too riya

Riya:yeah but still.. chal forget about this and come with me

Avni: where

Riya: to riya personal salon it's my responsibility to make u feel better

Avni: Riya that is not needed

Riya: chup and let me do my work

For few hours Riya was doing almost everything that a salon be it puting facing mask on avni ... getting her nails done.. eyebrow and other things

Time was actually going quick...

around 4:00pm avni got ready in the outfit riya chose and then once she came out of the washroom riya  started to curl avni's hair

Avni then wore big earings and a bracelt while riya applied lip gloss and light make up just as Avni prefers..  lastly Kajal

Riya:perfect now let me take your picture

Avni: ok..

Riya made her pose and took a picture while taking one with her

Meanwhile Neil had reached home early and got ready while Ali was helping him or more likely annoying him but Ragini came to the rescue and helped Neil

the family wished him best of luck and he left

Around 4:50 he reached to the metha mansion

Taking a deep breath he got out of the car and walked inside as the door was open

Neil:hi neela aunty...hi hetal aunty

Neela who was sitting at the dining table with hetal got up 

Neela:Neil.. beta come

Neil walked forward and took both of their blessings

Hetal:I'll let avni know that u r here

At that time dayawanti came back as she had gone out

Dayawanti: hey Neil beta

Neil:hello dadi

Dayawanti:so all set for your date with Avni

Neil: yeah he said scratching the back of his head slightly while giving a boyish smile

After few mins Neil saw avni walk down the stairs and for a sec he couldn't take his eyes of her

Neela:Neil beta we wouldn't mind if u both plan to spend your date over here she said teasingly

Neil looked away suddenly feeling embarassed

Neil:um no.... actually...he said looking for words to find but couldn't form a sentence

Avni smiled looking away

Riya: ok guys I want your both pics together

Avni:what? She said trying to glare at her but Riya ignored it

Dayawanti:haan good idea come u both stand here

Avneil looked at each other and then went where dayawanti pointed

Riya: come on ....u guys r going out on a date but standing like two strangers put your hands around each other

Avni: riyaa isn't it too much

Riya:no it's not..

she walked up to them and made them place their hand around each other's waist .. while avneil looked at each other. Riya took their picture and then told them to look ahead with a smile taking another 1

Avneil looked at each other for a sec and then looked ahead with a smile

Riya:perfect.. neela,dayawanti and hetal loved the way the pictures came out as they were standing next to Riya while she sent all of them to juhi ... avneil moved their hands away from each other's waist

Dayawanti: chalo now u both go and enjoy

Neil: shall we he said looking at avni who nodded.. both said bye

Once reaching outside Neil opened the front passenger door for Avni ....and then he moved to the driving seat and the car zoomed of...for the first 10 minutes it was quite so avni decided to speak.

Avni:so how was your day

Neil:it was good yours?

Avni: it was good was busy with riya as she planned to get me all ready for the date ...

Neil:u look beautiful by the way

Avni: thank u.. U look good too with this white shirt with a waist coat and jeans.. it suits u... Neil smiled

Neil: thank u

Avni:so where r we going

Neil: that's a surprise

Avni: seriously not fair.. at least u can tell me now right

Neil:nope

Avni rolled her eyes

Avni:next time I'm going to keep a condition which would be that u have to tell me where u plan to take me

Neil: so u already decided we will have more dates planned he said teasingly to which avni bit her tounge and looked away

Avni:um no... i ....u know just said it like that

Neil:i see. He said smiling away

Finally after an hour they reached to their destination Neil got out to the car and went to open the door for Avni offering his hand... Avni smiled accepting the offer... when avni stepped out she saw red roses on the floor going all the way.. she walked with neil and saw that they were at a empty beach she then moved her eyes and found a table with two chairs but then she also saw waiters there to serve them for food and also to play music' she actually loved this even if it was simple and neil knew that somewhere avni would like this kind of thing as she loves to go on a beach thanks to juhi as  she told about Avni and her love for beaches

Neil: Avni shall we ? He asked and both moved forward
