Avni: what is that sound she wondered and got up to go out and check

As she walked to the corridor she looked around to see nothing...she gave one last look and then headed back into her cabin when she let out a small scream, a hand on her heart with the sight in front of her

Avni:Neill...so.that was youu

Neil:someone is smart he said moving towards her as he placed his hands around her waist

Avni:its common sense and I thought you said you had an important work before going home

Neil: yup I did say that

Avni: so then y didnt you finsh that so you can go home  she said adjusting his hair

Neil:because I am doing my important work right now

Avni frowned for a sec and then realised what neil meant

Avni: you mean this is your important work as in coming here? She asked to make sure

Neil: yes this is the important work I was talking about he said tucking a strand of hair behind her  ears

Avni smiled but there was also a little concern

Avni: you should have rested first na...we could have met later too she said

Neil: if you want me to go then I'll go ok he said pretending to be a little upset  moving away but avni held his wrist

Avni: I didnt mean that neil...you can come over here whenever you want..its just that you have been working since last night so I just wanted to get some rest

Neil smiled and cupped her cheeks

Neil: I will rest I promise you that but seen you gives me some energy..its like my tiredness seems to go away

Avni chuckled

Avni:do you always have to say cheesy lines

Neil pretended to think

Neil:well it's not chessy lines but if you feel so then yes I always have to say it as someway it shows what's in my heart you see

Avni: I seee she said pulling his cheeks slightly making neil look at her cutely

Neil: this cheek is also left he Said showing his right cheeks

avni chuckled and smacked it slightly making neil pout

Avni: we will give your cheeks attention some other time... I know you havent slept since you have been working the whole night but did you eat or drink something in the morning especially at the police station last night since we didnt get to eat properly at the restaurant?

Neil: I got full last night by your "I love you" he said pulling avni closer to him

Avni wanted to hide her face able to feel her cheeks slowly heating up but she controlled herself and smacked neil on the chest lightly

Neil: ouch you really have a bad habit of hitting a police officer who you are also going to marry soon he said rubbing the area she hit pretending that it hurt while with his other hand he still held  her  by her waist

Avni : well you deserve it with these cheesy line of yours she said smiling

Neil: looks like you love chesse a lot that is y you keep on saying cheesy right

Avni shook her head and felt like crying

Avni: I wonder what made me fall for you she said

Neil: this handsome face what else he said proudly making avni roll her eyes

Avni moves neil away

Avni: I'm going to make you something she said walking to the kitchen while neil followed

As avni was getting all the ingredients ready neil was busy looking at her seen her putting her hair in a bun

Neil: you know this already makes me feel like we are married he said standing beside her leaning his back against the counter

Avni: and what makes you think that

Neil: because you are cooking for me, taking care of me like how a wife does

Avni smiled

avni: I still would have taken care of you even If there was nothing between us she said whisking the eggs

Suddenly she felt neil behind her, getting goosebumps with the way his breath was fanning the back of her neck 

Neil: is that so he asked as he placed his hands on her hips and rested his chin on her shoulder wheras avni breathing was slowly getting uneven due to the way his lips slowly was brushing her skin on her neck

Avni: it surely is now can you move so that I can get started with the breakfast

Neil: y? Is my close proximity bothering you? He asked teasingly

avni: nothing is bothering me now sit back over there so I can make you something she said moving him away

Neil : I'll take that as yes then he said smirking

Avni: take it as whatever you want she said

After awhile

Avni placed the breakfast on a plate and handed it to neil with a cup of coffee

Avni: finish this off like a good boy she said pulling his right cheek this time making neil smile

Neil: now my right cheek is also happy he said making avni chuckle

As avni was about to move away neil held her wrist making her turn towards him

Neil : you also sit with me

Avni: I will...but first I'll wash up till then you start with your breakfast she said pointing at the plate that was in front of him

Neil looked at his seasoned scrambled eggs making his stomach finally grumble..he shook his head with a smile while avni washed up the pan and all other items... drying her hands she  grabbed  her cup and sat beside neil

Neil took a bite of his toast and made avni take a bite too

Avni: this breakfast is for you not me

Neil: sharing is caring

Avni: not all the time she said taking a sip of her coffee

After finshing his breakfast both got up with their cup of coffee and headed back into avnis cabin

Neil sat on the bean bag as he took few sips of his coffee wheras avni sat on a chair near him

Avni: neil...y did you come to me ? You should have taken some rest she  said with a smile on her face as she was playing with his hair and was about to move her hands away when neil held her hand and looked at her sitting behind him as she was leaning slightly forward

Neil: dont stop and continue please..it feels good he said placing her hand back on his head

Avni smiled and moved her seat closer to neil and continued to comb his hair with her fingers

Avni: you didnt answer my question she said

Neil: because I wanted to see you before going home... yesterday still feels like a dream where you actually confessed..seeing you makes me feel fresh and Also lucky that I got you now

Avni stopped playing with his hair and placed her chin on his shoulders as she threw her hands around him making neil smile the way she was hugging him in tha position

Avni: I dont know if I should be happy or concerned now because I'm happy that you think about me so much but also concerned with you getting less amount of rest due to me

Neil: others might not see it but i am getting rest avni...we all have something in life that gives us enegery making us feel fresh no matter how tired we are and that's how you make me feel

Suddenly they heard the kids screaming making avni break the hug and sat straight

Avni: y did the kids come early? she said looking at neol who looked at her

Both got up and headed out to see the kids running to her while neil stood behind her as none noticed him due to their excitement of coming back early

Avni: y did you all come back early ?

Sakshi: jaan ji today all of our classes  got cancelled due to power cut they said happily when suddenly shyla noticed neil

Shyla: neil bhaiya she said happily and ran to him giving him a hug while the other kids also followed

Neil: it's good to see you all he said looking at all of them..

Sameer: if we hadnt arrived  early we probably wouldnt have got to meet you

Neil: well here we are now...acha tell me do you and shyla Fight now?

Shyla: no neil bhaiya we stopped fighting since you told us

Neil: that's like a good girl

Sameer: we are actually good friends now

Neil: and you both better continue to be so

Vansh : neil bhaiya since you are here come and play with us na please he said while all the other kids started to plead too

Avni: stop...first of all go and change and neil wont play with you as he needs to go home and rest she said

Sameer : come on jaan di we dont know when we will get this chance again please please please

Neil: please jaan.....di he said mischievously making avni slap his arm

Avni: ok fine but for not long ok

All the kids got happy and danced taking neil with him instead of changing while avni shook her head with a smile and followed them

It had been 15 mins since neil was playing football with the kids while all avni was doing was stare at neil lovingly...her heart beat went fast seen him smile boyishly as he scored a goal..even though he didnt smile at her it still did flip flops inside her

She smiled as she recalled her telling him "I love you" she never knew that she would get such loving and wonderful life partner soon who will Also be loved and accepted by sukhoon ghar kids after all neil does have that charm...she watched as he played gracefully but her lips slowly parted when  he catched her staring as he looked at her rasing his eyebrows with a mischievous look while she shook her head with a hint of blush coming her face

As Neil's team scored the goal avni knew that if they continued to play there is no chance of neil going home and as much as she wanted him to stay here and spend time with them she knew she had to send him away so he can get some rest

Avni walked over to them and grabbed the ball making all look at her

Avni: sorry but time is up...you all wanted neil to play  with you all and he did for some time  but now he needs to go home to take some good rest

Sneha: we was having so much fun

Khush: I know...now neil bhaiya has to go

Neil: dont be sad I'll come again soon to play with you all

Sneha: sachi?

Neil: muchi he said pulling her cheeks making all the kids happy

avni: now come on go and freshen up till then and then we will do some studying

The kids were about to protest but one stern look from avni made them mute their voice and headed to their rooms

Neil pulled avni to him making her smile

Avni: time for you to go mr khanna

Neil: I know...and thank you for today soon to be mrs Neil khanna he said making avni smile

Avni: I'll drop you till outside come she said about to move away but neil pulled her back

Neil: I'll go by myself...you take rest too because I know you will have a hectic schedule too due to teaching the kids so dont overwork yourself he said tucking a hair behind her ears

Avni: just like how you overwork..though your work is very tough and important she said

Neil: right now I'm talking about you so make sure you follow what I said understood

Avni:understood

Neil moved his face forward and placed a kiss on her lips making avni close her eyes instantly
Both their lips moved slowly against each other for few secs and then moved away

Neil: I love you take care

Avni: I love you too and drive safely and take rest

Neil: I will do he said placing a kiss on her forehead and then lips

Avni: go nowww

Neil: smiled and left from there making avni touch her lips and smile to herself
