Avni:I love you...I love you neil she said with tears of happiness

Avneil smiled as they looked at each other...the moon was shining brightly onto their face as if giving them blessing

Neil cupped both of avni cheeks as a big smile came on his face... he finally was at peace

Neil:I love you too avni...I love you too he said with his voice going a little shaky

Both had a big smile on their face while their eyes welled up

Neil kissed avni on the forehead and pulled her in for a hug...both closed their eyes enjoying been In each other arm

Avni: now can you please put on your shirt she said

Neil: y ? Are you not enjoying the view he said jokingly

Avni: neilll...shut up she said making neil chukle

After a while avneil was sitting in the balcony allowing the cool breeze to fan their face. ( haan haan neil has put on his shirt chill now)

Avni gave him the coffee which juhi had bought and handed it to him which was still warm...neil took the cup and avni wrapped her hand around his arm and rested her head on his shoulder.

Neil: you know avni... I never expected to fall in love this soon but after meeting you I had a liking for you instantly and then I knew that you was the one...when we was coming back from london I had only one aim which was to do well at the police station over here and I didnt even think about falling in love or marriage but you entered my life like a breeze... a beautiful breeze which I want to feel every day he said and took a sip of the coffee and forwarded it to avni

Avni was smiling while listening to Neil and then sat up straight as she took the cup from neil and took a sip and handed neil the cup while he took a sip 

Avni: I never imagined that I would actually fall in love with you...more than me it was juhi who would try to make me realise my feelings yet I still would act clueless as I was unsure and even riya would try but no use...I always believed in love stories and all but when you was near me I enjoyed it neil...but i would become clueless when I would be asked about how exactly I would feel for you but now everything has changed I know what I feel and I enjoy this feeling..

Neil took avni hand in his and intertwined their fingers

Neil: we both are now a part of each other life and very soon we will be tied into a beautiful bond...having you in my life is the best feeling avni and I promise to always be by your side no matter what

Avni: everything will be knew for us neil ...we love each... but we also have to understand each other, trust each other and support each other

Neil: you are right...also we will make sure never to hide anything from each other and share everything

Avni: be it happiness or sadness

Neil: right

Avni: and Also making sure not to be careless

Neil: you are been sarcastic right said looking at her

Avni :  consider whatever you want to she said with a cheeky smile and looked at neil

Neil: well I'll consider it as a sarcastic reply which I love

For a sec both looked at each other and burst out laughing

Neil suddenly got a call from dd and Anwered it

After listening to dd he spoke

Neil:ok....yup...no keep him there I'm coming..ok....ok see you soon  bye

As he ended the call he gave avni a sorry look

Neil: I'm sorry avni... I have...but he couldnt continue as avni silenced him by placing a finger on his lips

Avni:shhh...you dont have to be sorry neil...I understand that you need to go and its completely fine...we atleast spent some time  together right she Said looking at him with a smile

Neil smiled and placed a peck on her finger that was on his lips making avni smile with a hint of blush

Juhi who was reading a novel looked up when she heard the bedroom door open and saw Neil and avni walking out holding hands

Juhi: I thought I would be sleeping on the couch today she said closing her book and got up

Neil: dont worry I am not that bad to make my soon to be saali sleep on the couch

Juhi; saali haan looks like avni 3 magic words have surely done some magic she said with s teasing smile

Neil: it surely has he said with a smile as he looked at avni who looked down with a smile

Juhi: awwwwwww

Avni:juhiiii she said trying to show her a serious look but her blush was coming in the way

Neil: thanks juhi I thought I wouldn't get to speak to avni but due to you I was able to.

Juhi: come on avni is my friend and like a sister too and now also we are friends too right so I can do that much for you she said smiling

Neil moved to hug juhi and both him and avni walked towards the door when juhi spoke

Juhi: avni I hope you dont forget you are going to drop neil and coming back she said

Avni: shut up juhi she said walking out with neil while juhi chucked

Juhi: thank you god for giving avni such a loving life partner...I just pray they stay happy like this

As avneil reached near Neil's jeep...neil held both of her hands and placed a kiss on her knuckles making avni smile

Avni:so then...see you whenever you are free she said looking at him lovingly with a smile playing on her lips

Neil smiled and let go of her hands and placed it on her waist while avnis hands rested on his chest...

Neil: though for the first time I dont feel like going as I want to spend time with you but duty is also important...I hope I see you soon too because after your confession it will be even more difficult to stay away from you he said making avni chuckle

Avni: well we cant do anything about that now can we mr khanna...if I had known I wouldn't have confessed

Neil: well you did so I consider myself lucky for that he said hitting his forehad with hers lightly

Avni: then with that luck go for your duty which I know you will because that is also important for you

Neil: and so are you he said in a low voice

Avni: I know

Neil moved forward and placed a kiss on her forehead while avni had her eyes closed..as she felt neil move away she opened her eyes

Neil: I'll try and see you soon

Avni: only if you are able to

Neil: I love you

Avni: I love you too she said slowly smiling while neil had a bigger smile on his face and moved away as he got into the jeep

Avni: take care and drive safe

Neil: I will bye

Avni: bye

Avni waited till neil drove away and smiled as she hugged herself recalling her confession and then her moment with neil and headed back up

Once avni reached to juhi apartment she closed the door when juhi came and held avni looking at her seriously

Juhi: avni I love you ...i love you very much

Avni: what's gotten into you move she said frowning with Juhi sudden odd behaviour and moved away when juhi held her wrist and pulled avni towards her.

Juhi: say that you also love me..dont walk away like that avni...please trust your neil she said continuing in her serious yet no serious tone

Avni lips parted realising juhi was teasing her by  pretending to be Neil

Avni: juhiiii...ruk abhi I'll show you how much I love you she said about to hit her arms but juhi ran away

Juhi: y didnt you show neil how much you love him

Avni: that's it you are gone now she said

Avni grabbed a cushion from the couch and started to run after her where avni threw the cushion at juhi which hit her back...after few mins of continuously running around juhi fell on the sofa as she tried to catch up with her breath while avni came and landed near her and rested her head on her lap as she also tried to calm her breathing

Juhi: you know I'm finally happy that you confessed to neil otherwise I thought you would stay aloof with your feelings for that guy

Avni looked at juhi when she spoke

Avni: it just happened I myself didnt know that I actually love him..if that incident hadn't happend  outside the resuratant then maybe I wouldn't have realised but I'm glad it did

Juhi: and I'm happy too that it did...by the way what did you both do in my bedroom she said playfully

Avni:nothing that is going in that head of yours so put a full stop on your brain with whatever is cooking

Juhi: not even a kiss

Avni: it wasnt the first time we kis...she stopped realising what she was about to say....obviously she wont mention about her first kiss with neil that had happened before..

Juhi:wasnt your first1 time means you had your first kiss with neil before she said getting excited

Avni: will you stop now she said getting up and went to the kitchen to grab something to eat

Juhi: come on yaar avni what's there to hide from me she said shrugging

Avni glared at juhi

Juhi:ok fine dont say anything your sentence gave it away already she said making avni roll her eyes

Avni:I'm Hungry what's there to eat

Juhi: nothing I was going to order a little late but then you both love birds came...I'll order something now

Avni: okies order something delicious and make it come asap she said opening a pack of biscuits

Juhi: well I'm delicious she said naughtily

Avni:I sometimes wonder what did I see in you that I made you my best friend 

Juhi:the deliciousness in me what else she said posing making avni look at her for a sec and both burst out laughing

Next day

At 8am

Neil was at the police station since last night  when he suddenly got a message from avni

Seen her name pop up on his screen bought a smile on his face

He opened the message up to see it say

Morning mr khanna  hope you had finished early last night and got a good sleep

Neil chuckled shaking his head and started to type back

Morning soon to be mrs khanna...nope had to stay till now... getting ready to go home now and I'll surely be able to get one of the best sleep now

Avni looked up from the laptop when she heard her phone beep and smiled seem neil respond especially about how he will get one of the best  sleep due to last night

Get some sleep then..  I'm sure the officer in you does need some rest.

Neil looked at the message

As you say...you at juhis place still ?

Avni looked Neil's message and replied straight away

Nope at the orphanage...now go home and get some rest please.

Neil smiled feeling extremely happy seen her care

I promise I will...just have an important work to do first

Avni frowned

Well try and finish of your important work asap ok?

Within seconds she got a reply from Neil

Ok madam

Avni shook her head and got back to her work

About 40mins later avni heard something drop in the corridor..she thought it might be tara or sitara since juhi and sunheri had gone out for the orphanage work while kids had gone to school...she continued to do her work when she felt something drop again

Avni: what is that sound she wondered and got up to go out and check

As she walked to the corridor she looked around to see nothing...she gave one last look and then headed back into her cabin when she let out a small scream, a hand on her heart with the sight in front of her

Avni:Neill...so.that was youu

Neil:someone is smart he said moving towards her as he placed his hands around her waist

Avni:its common sense and I thought you said you had an important work before going home

Neil: yup I did say that

Avni: so then y didnt you finsh that so you can go home  she said adjusting his hair

Neil:because I am doing my important work right now

Avni frowned for a sec and then realised what neil meant

Avni: you mean this is your important work as in coming here? She asked to make sure

Neil: yes this is the important work I was talking about he said tucking a strand of hair behind her  ears

Avni smiled but there was also a little concern

Avni: you should have rested first na...we could have met later too she said

Neil: if you want me to go then I'll go ok he said pretending to be a little upset  moving away but avni held his wrist

Avni: I didnt mean that neil...you can come over here whenever you want..its just that you have been working since last night so I just wanted to get some rest

Neil smiled and cupped her cheeks

Neil: I will rest I promise you that but seen you gives me some energy..its like my tiredness seems to go away

Avni chuckled

Avni:do you always have to say cheesy lines

Neil pretended to think

Neil:well it's not chessy lines but if you feel so then yes I always have to say it as someway it shows what's in my heart you see

Avni: I seee she said pulling his cheeks slightly making neil look at her cutely

Neil: shut up just shut up...dont try to cover up you foolishness avni...do you know how dangerous that was he said pulling her closer by the arm

Sorry is not going to make things less but I'm sorry as I never realised it been nearly a year since I have updated.
I wont even complain if many readers have stopped reading any of my stories due to the delay I have made
