Avni was getting better day by day with Neil by her side. He talked to her for an hour everyday giving much exercise to her mouth. His massages always ended up in their hot makeout sessions which they thoroughly enjoyed. It has been 8 days past that accident and Avni had indeed improved a lot in speech as well as hand movements. On a similar day, they were being too much involved in each other while light chuckles and gasps filled the room. Neil's phone rang and Avni took the phone to keep it close to his ears since his hands were smeared with oil.

Neil: Yes. ACP Neil Khanna.

DD: Jai hind Sir.

Neil: Yes DD. Bolo.

DD: Sir. I know you are on leave. But, some work has come up which can't be done in your absence. We have got an important eye witness in the recent murder case. His statement has to be recorded and I really think you have to be here sir.

Neil: DD. Ye kaam tum kar sakte ho na? You used to do that.

DD: But, this is such a crucial case sir. May be we'll get some breakthrough while questioning him. You yourself can cross examine him more precisely.

Neil: I wish... But..

Avni(whispered): See. I am tot..totally fine. DD needs you this time. Jaake..aa...jaa.. aajo na.

Neil knew that was right. He could easily go and be back within a few hours. Neil nodded in a yes and replied the same to DD.

Neil: I will be there within some time.

DD: Thankyou Sir. And Iam really sorry for bothering you.

Neil: Its okay DD. Its completely fine.

DD: How's Bhabhi sir?

Neil: Ye lo talk to your bhabhi. I will get ready by then.

He passed on the phone to Avni and started dressing up her blouse, pinned up her saree and pecked her on her cheeks. Avni blabbered to her dearest DD on the call while Neil freshened up and got ready to go. DD had hung up already. Avni hugged Neil from the back slowly resting her chin on his shoulders.

Neil(smiled):Hmm?

Avni: I really don't feel like letting you go.

Neil: I will be back soon baby.

Suddenly it struck it him that she talked without fumbling after ages. He turned around to look at her at once. His eyes gleamed in happiness.

Neil: Avni..

Avni: I am crazily in love with you ACP Neil Khanna.

Neil just hugged her tight which spoke out all his emotions.

Neil: I longed too much to hear this Avni. Tumhare haath ?

Avni: They are fine. Thoda sa pain hai jo tumhare sexy massges se chale jaayenge.

Neil laughed out aloud and patted on her cheeks. He went outside the room with her. Suddenly, Rahul came to them visibly distressed.

Rahul: Are you going somewhere?

Neil: Yes. To the police station. Chota sa kaam hai. I will be back soon.

Rahul: Kab aaoge?

Neil: Now its 10.30. I will be back my 2 o'clock maximum. Till then, you will take care of Avni na?

Rahul: Ofcourse.

Avneil noticed him restless and tensed.

Avni: Is everything fine? Why are you so nervous?

Rahul: I had to ask you something.

Avni: me?

Rahul: Both of you.

Neil: Kya hua? Poocho jo bhi poochna hai tumhe.

Rahul: If I tell you one of my wish, will you do fulfill it?

Neil: Bolke tho dekho janab. All your wishes will be fulfilled.

Rahul: Day after tomorrow is my birthday..

Neil: Really!? Iam sorry I didn't know it. We'll celebrate it for sure!

Rahul: Bhaiyya..

Neil knelt down and cupped his face.

Neil: Kya chahthe ho Rahul?

Rahul: Mumma se milna hai. Leke jaoge?

Avni and Neil stood as if a thunderbolt had hit them. They looked questioningly at him.

Avni: Missing her?

Rahul: She was never with me didi. I don't know what it feels like to be with mom. Then how can I miss her?

Neil: Fir?

Rahul: I think she deserves a chance to change.
