Avni:umm I think we should go she said  tucking her hair back and the shyness was not missed from her face at all

Neil: let's go he said and both headed down

The rest saw avni and Neil coming down

Bebe: lo since avni and neil r down too how about we start dinner

Shweta: haan let's do that come please she said as all got up and shweta guided them to the dining table

Avneil followed the rest and sat down besides each other.

As all started to eat they were talking about the engagment prepration and all which was going to be held at the metha mansion and about the menu and other stuffs

Bebe: let's do one thing tommrow shweta and neela can go with avni and Neil to get the engagement rings

Dayawanti: that is a great idea

Riya: can we go with them too please

Kareena: haan can we youngsters go too please

Shweta: arien it's only ring selection then we will be back after that

Riya: aunty please please

Neela:riya didnt u say you will be busy getting avnis  outfit ready

Riya: well not only avni but neils too as I designed a color combination outfit for them and I thought with their rings I can help with the jewellery collection for that day

Ashish: if the kids r saying allow them to come na

Bebe: ok fine u kids can go she said while riya and Kareena were happy

Aman to himself : girls and shopping he thought to himself

Shweta: so then its decided engagement shopping tommrow at 10am if that time is suitable for u all

Neela: of course it is

Avneil looked at each other and smiled at their family excitement to get the prepration started for the engagement

Suddenly as avni put a spoonful of rice in her mouth she started to cough as she gulped it down straight away

Neil who was drinking water turned his attention towards avni

Neela: bacha u ok she said getting up

Bebe: shweta give avni some water she said but before neela could get towards avni or shweta can pass some water neil picked up his glass

Neil: avni here have some water he said making her drink some from the same glass of his as he rubbed her back slightly

Avni took the water that neil offered and looked at him to see concern written all over his face

After few secs

Neil: u ok he asked

Avni: yh thanks she said

Neil: u sure he asked

Avni: haan I'm fine don't worry she said slowly smiling ... clearing her throat

Avni looked at the rest to see they all were still looking at her

Avni: I'm fine I'm telling the truth she said as she looked at all and neela...

Neela smiled as she was able to tell from avni face that she was ok and sat down

As neil was about to take his glass and drink some water he realised he gave the same glass to avni and made her drink the water which actually gave him peace and happiness

After dinner the metha family sat for some time and decided to leave after as the men had to go for work and also avneil had to get their rings too

At night neil came to shweta who was in the kitchen warming up milk for bebe

Neil:mom

Shweta: haan Tillu she said looking at him for a sec and started to pour the milk in a glass

Neil:mom...actually I was thinking...that..
Mom woh..the thing is

Shweta:tilllu what is this ...tell me clearly na

Neil: mom woh how about we pick up avni, Riya and neela aunty from the metha mansion and head to the mall from there

Shweta looked at neil for a sec

Shweta: is this what u wanted to say ?

Neil:haan..kyun (yes...why?)

Shweta looked at neil and burst out laughing

Neil:mom y r u laughing he said not knowing what did he say that made her laugh

Shweta:tillu tum na pagal ho (tillu u r mad)...y couldn't u say it directly...the way u was speaking I thought it must be something serious and important

Neil: nahi woh I just wanted to make sure it was ok

Shweta: its perfectly ok beta now go and sleep ok

Neil:good night mom he said giving a boyish smile and side hugged shweta while kissing the top of her head

Shweta : good night beta she said and shook her head smiling as neil went

At the metha mansion

Avni was laying on her bed she smiled recalling how neil gave her water as she had started coughing and his concern was reflecting in his voice very much especially how he gave her water to drink while he rubbed her back to confront her

Back to the khanna mansion

Neil got into his room and saw how he had bought a piece of millionaire shortbread earlier on but had forgotten to have it 

He sat down on the couch and took a bite of the small piece and chewed on it...he was surprised as it turned out to be something better than expected

Taking his phone he was about to message avni but thought he will tell her tomorrow directly

The next morning

Neil got ready and was brushing his hair when Kareena came into his room and ruined it from the back by tip toeing

Neil: kareena what r u doing I just finished brushing my hair he said sorting his hair out

Kareena: ohhh sorry sorry I forgot now u will have to look smart, handsome decent which sometimes u r...but now it will be for someone that u will get engaged to soon right

Neil: it's nothing like that u r just assuming i always get ready like this he said

Kareena didnt miss the small smile on his face as he placed the brush down

Kareena: aww already imagining my soon to be bhabhi getting engaged to u how sweet bhai... I am sure u r impatient to meet her today right

Neil:u wait I will show you how impatient I am he said and ran after her

Meanwhile the scene in metha mansion wasnt any different

Avni: riya give me your perfume mine has finished she said walking into riya room

Riya: here u go she said taking some and sprayed it on avni...a little bit extra

Avni: riya enough r u planning to empty the bottle today she said and took the perfume out of riyas hand and placed it back on the dressing table

Riya saw avni sorting her hair and decided to tease her a little

Riya whistled in a flirty way

Avni: what she said shrugging her shoulder as she looked at riya

Riya: sajna hai mujhien sajna ke liyen (I want to dress up for my lover) she said singing that line

Avni: it's nothing like that I just was making sure my hair is set properly she said

Riya: haan toh when did I say i was singing that line for you

Avni: because I know u clearly meant it for me

Riya: acha means even u agree u was getting ready for your sajna

Avni: no it only means u r crazy she said grabbing a cushion and started to run behind riya to throw at her

At the khanna mansion after having breakfast Kareena, shweta and neil decided to leave

Bebe: listen dont rush with the rings choose properly and madam madonna dont get carried away with shopping

Shweta: bebeee she said pouting

Kareena:dont worry bebe I'll make sure mumma doesnt she said while shweta glared at her and all chuckled

Prakash: ab come on go u all need to go to metha mansion na

Neil, shweta and Kareena left

After 20 mins they reached to the metha mansion

Meanwhile at the metha mansion all had finished breakfast while ashish and ketan had left for an early meeting

Shweta:namaste ji she said walking in with Neil and Kareena

Avni and riya who came out of the kitchen saw neil with his sister and mum

Neela and shweta gestured each other to take blessing of the elders

Dayawanti :god bless u beta.

Neil: hey he said moving next to avni

Avni: hey she said and smiled as she stood next to him after taking blessing from shweta

Kareena:hellos she said and moved to hug avni excitingly while riya moved to hug Kareena and said hi to Neil

Neela: I'll get some tea and coffee for u all please sit

Shweta: no no neela ji we just had breakfast and left straight away

Riya: if that's the case shall we leave then

All agreed and headed out

Shweta: avni beta u sit at the front she said as neil opened the passenger door

Avni looked at shweta and nodded...as she walked past neil her hair blew against his face making him close his eyes for a sec..he then closed the door and smiled boyishly as he walked towards the other side and got into the car

All had reached to the mall after and headed up to the store

Riya: I'll see if they have the jewellery I'm looking for

Kareena: even I'll come she said and went with riya

Neela: neil, avni come till then u both select each other engagement ring

Avneil nodded while shweta was with neil helping him choose the ring and neela was with avni as the men ring was in another section from where neil was sitting

Avni: mumma how is this one she said showing neela a ring after few mins

Neela: do u like it?

Avni:, haan

Neela: then neil will like it too...

Staff: if u know the ring size then we can note it down

Neela:actually the soon to be groom is checking rings over there so once he is done u can see which size he needs

Staff: it's ok we will wait he said smiling

Meanwhile Neil was looking at two rings he was confused as to which ring to select...neil casually turned to see where avni was and saw her talking to neela

Shweta: neil chal choose one quickly she said not seen neil looking at avni as she was busy seen if neil likes any other ring for avni

Neil:this one he said showing the ring and turned back facing to  see he chose the ring he had picked first and smiled

Staff: do u know the ring size?

Shweta:um no the girl we got it for is over there she said

Staff: is she looking at rings too?

Shweta: yes my son and she r getting engaged soon

Staff: ok then can u please come that side so we can get it measured

Neil and shweta nodded while the staff member went to the other staff member

Both the staffs took avneil finger measurements  and noted it down and told them that the ring will be ready in two days ...neela had paid for avni ring while shweta paid for neil ring... she smiled at him and pulled his cheeks as he wanted to pay (avneil havent seen the ring that has heen chosen for them as the staff had kept it in a box with their labels on )

Neela: let's go and see if riya has found what she is looking for

All nodded and headed to where riya and Kareena was

Shweta: riya beta did u find the jewellery u was looking for

Riya: no aunty we will actually search in another store...did u lot select the rings

Avneil:haan

Riya:ok then let's search in another store.

As they exited riya saw a perfume store

Riya:avni your perfume has finished  right y dont you get one since u r here she said stopping making other stop too

Avni:its ok I'll get it some other time

Before riya can reply neil spoke

Neil: riya is right avni u should buy it since u r here

Avni looks at neil and slowly nooded her head

Riya: ok then neil if u dont mind can u go with avni till then we will go and see if there is a matching jewlelley for avni outfit in the next store

Neil: sure he said

Avni glared at riya who winked while Kareena gave a thumbs up to neil

Avneil started to walk towards the perfume store

Neil: so u like perfumes alot

Avni:not really I only use it if I'm going out...mine finished so just will stock some up now

Neil: so u dont have a particular fav brand

Avni:not really if I like the fragrance I would buy it by the way did you like what I gave u yesterday

Neil: what did u give yesterday ?

Avni:the millionaire shortbread?

Neil:oh that I'm sorry I forgot to try it he said

Avni nodded as she actually wanted to know if he had tried some

Neil:I'm only joking I had some last night and I'll be honest it was something different and I loved it

Avni:I'm glad u loved it...did anyone else did

Neil:not yet as they said they will try it today...

Avni:I hope they like it

Neil:dont worry they will he said and opened the door for her as they entered the perfume store

Staff: hi how can I help u she said smiling at avneil

Avni: hi I actually want to see what good perfumes have u got

Staff: for u or someone else

Avni: for me

Staff: sure please come this way

Avni nodded and followed the staff member while Neil followed avni and both sat down while the staff gave avni few testers to try

Meanwhile Neil was also checking which one was good and after few mins he liked one

Neil:avni

Avni: hmmm

Neil:y dont u try this one he said passing her a tester one

Avni took the one neil was talking about and smelled it

Avni: it's quite good can u give me one of this one and that blue one that u just showed me

The staff member nodded and went to get the perfumes avni chose while both avneil headed to the Casheir

As avni was able to take her card out neil forwarded his card

Avni:neil it's ok I'll pay

Neil:dont worry avni I'll pay

Avni: but its not nice na I came for perfumes and u r buying it

Neil: avni it's fine dw I can do this much after all we will get tied in another relation so I guess I do have that much rights na where I can buy u things

Avni looked at neil

Avni:then even I should have the rights to buy u stuff too right

Neil: yes but at the moment that doesnt need to be done

Avni: when the time comes I will

Staff: here r your perfumes have a lovely day

Neil: u too thank u..come avni

Avni nodded and both she and neil headed out

Avni: neil I forgot my mobile inside I'll go and get it till then u go where the rest r I'll meet u there

Neil:ok

Avni went in while neil went where the other were

After few mins avni joined them and saw riya  and Kareena talking...while neela and shweta were too and Neil was busy going through something on his phone

Avni: sorry I saw something at the a store so was looking at it

Riya: its ok shall we head to my store now so that u both can try your engagement outfit

Avni: did you find the jewellery you was looking for ?

Riya:yup let's go now

All started to head out and headed to the parking area and soon got into the car with neil on the driving seat ...Kareena, neela, shweta and riya at the back and avni at the front while the rest were talking avneil were enjoying the silence between them

Meanwhile at the Khanna mansion bebe came back from the mandir and was calling few relatives to inform them that the engagement is in 3 days

Bebe: harleen u called everyone but not your sister she said shaking her head akd called harpreet

A maid had answered it and bebe told her to pass the call to her after a min harpreet: answers the call

Harpreet: hello harleen how r u

Bebe: I'm fine I called to give u a news

Harpreet: what news she said listening keenly

Bebe: our neil will get married soon his engagment has been fixed after 3 days

Harpreet went still for a sec

Harpreet: what r u saying harleen

Bebe:I'm saying what u heard...his wedding is after a week and it's with the same girl who he was getting to know

Harpreet : he agreed that quickly

Bebe:haan Harpreet and the girl is a gem she and my neil will keep each other so happy...last night we had invited the metha family over for dinner so that we can discuss about the rest of the things

Now that information made harpreet even more jealous

Harpreet: that..that is great what is the girls name who neil will be getting married to she said kindly but her face was full of hatred

Bebe:, avni...avni metha

Harpreet: acha nice name..harleen I will speak to u later haan I want to to mandir and thank god for such good news

Bebe agreed and both cut the call...as soon as the call was cut harpreet threw the flower vase on the floor

Harpreet: u r very high of your family and your grandson na harleen and u leave no chance to show that u consider me nothing and a sister for just namesake but one day one day I will defeat you

After 10 mins the rest finally had reached to riya store

Riya: suresh please can you get neil jiju outfit and see if it fits him

Suresh: sure ...please come sir he said while neil followed

Riya: rani u take avni and help her with her outfit

Avni went with rani while the rest waited

After few mins neil came out  wearing a sherwani and all were amused seen how handsome he looks

Shweta: amazing job riya I love it ...my Tillu looks good

Riya:thank u aunty...neil u r comfortable right ..

Neil:yup

Riya: ok then suresh pack the sherwani outfit

Neil went to change and after few mins avni came out

Kareena: woweee

Sheets and neela were just seen how beautiful avni looked

Shweta; my god avni u look beautiful just imagine how stunning she will look on her engagment when she is fully ready she said making avni go shy

Neela: u r absolutely right shweta ji...u look like a princess bacha she said cupping avni cheek

Riya: avni all good

Avni:yup

Riya: good go and change befor neil comes I dont want him to see u in this lengha before engagment day she said making the rest chuckle

Avni turned to go And as she was walking away neil appeared and Till he could look up avni disappeared from his sight

30 mins later the car stopped outside metha mansion

All had got out

Shweta:neela ji we actually enjoyed your company it felt like we have known each other for ages

Neela: same here shweta ji...but please do come in and have something plesse

Shweta: no now neela ji maybe some other time

As shweta and neela continued avni walked over to neil which Kareena noticed and elbowed Riya to look at them

Avni: neil

Neil: hmmm he said looking at avni giving her full attention with a smile on his face

Avni : here she said passing him a small bag

Neil: what is this?

Avni: perfume... I liked it so bought it for you she said

Neil frowned and then looked at avni

Neil: dont tell me that the phone thing was an excuse just to buy me perfume as I paid for yours...avni you didnt have to do this

Riya and Kareena looked at each smiling naughtily

Avni:no no neil I actually had forgotten my phone as I went to get it back i saw a guy trying this perfume and for some reason I felt u might like this that is y i bought it.

Neil: pakka ?

Avni:pakka she said smiling making neil smile too

Shweta:acha neela ji we will leave now

All said bye to each other while avni took shweta blessing and neil took neela blessing

As neil car left from the metha mansion avni went in followed by neela

Riya: perfumes haan she said to herself with a naughty smile

As she entered avni room she saw avni placing two perfumes box on the dressing table

Riya:avni

Avni: hmmm

Riya: tell me na

Avni: tell u what

Riya: story of perfumes

Avni looked at riya as she placed her bag away

Avni: there is no story neil just bought me perfumes and when I went to get my phone from the store i bought him one since I thought he might like it

Riya:awwwwwww

Avni: riya shut up

Riya: na na ab toh I wont besides i saw how when i told u to buy a perfume u didnt but when neil JIJU told u to buy a perfume u agreed straight away hayeeee already started to listen to your soon to be better half

Avni:u r mad clearly mad when u have someone watch I wont spare you she said going towards the washroom

Riya: hayee I'm waiting for that day and I wonder when my princes charming will come she said laying on the bed
