Avni had gone to her room and had changed into her pjs..she was busy looking at few emails on her phone when she recieved a message from a unsaved number and opened it to see it say
"Hey avni its neil"

Within sec she typed a reply saying
Hi neil...

Avni waited for a sec to see if she can type anything else but didnt know what else to write so sent it like that.

She decided to save his number and as she finished that she saw neil calling onto her phone..for a sec her heart was beating fast as if he was in front of her... not knowing y she was feeling that she decided to ignore it and answered her phone .

Avni: hey Neil.

Neil: hey hope I'm not disturbing u he said resting against the headboard

Avni:no no.. was just going through my phone and then saw your message.

Neil: I see.. so?

Avni:soo? she said smiling while biting her lower lip

Neil: I heard u also wanted more time

Avni:- yes..and so did u right.

Neil:yes... I wanted to get to know u even more

Avni:same here.

Neil: then we both r on the same boat

Avni:yup.

Neil:so then let's find ways to get to know each other

Avni:okies soo.... tell me about your likes and dislikes

Neil:ok so my likes r bindi ki sabzi, black coffee, bike racing which I havent done for a long time... dislikes is having milk, rainy seasons r not my favourite and dont like when people lie.

Avni: that's interesting

Neil: what? That I dont like people lieing he said smiling

Avni:no no I mean in general both your likes and dislikes.

Neil: I know I was just joking.but these r only few u will know more hopefully soon he said

Avni: I see

Neil :ok now your turn he said taking a pillow and placed it on his lap.

Avni: ok so my likes r poha, dancing, rainy season, winter season, I also love samosa and jalebi. My dislikes r summer season (bilkul meri tarah hai larki) short dresses, dont like aggressive people and also dont like when people lie too.

Neil:so one thing is common and that is we both dont like when people lie.

Avni: absolutely. She said

After a while.

Neil: avni can I ask u something

Avni: um yh go ahead

Neil: how about we go out after two days he said looking down as he was playing with his pillow

Avni: r u asking me out on a date ? She said smiling

Neil: maybe..u can consider it that way he said looking up as if she was right in front of him

Avni: ok then

Neil: u agree ?

Avni: haan that is y I said ok na.

Neil:no I thought actually.... forget it so where do u want to go ?

Avni:I dont mind any place but just one request

Neil: what is that?

Avni: u dont have to do any fancy thing neil I'll appreciate even simple things.

Neil: that I know

Avni:and how is that

Neil: it's in your nature.

Avni: ohh she said biting her lips while smiling to herself

Neil:so then...I shall meet u after two days

Avni: yup but what time

Neil:I'll get back from office early so I'll come and pick u up at 17:30pm

Avni:perfect.

Neil: ok then bye he said not wanting to end the call.

Avni: bye she said and once she ended the call she chuckled and smacked the phone on her forehead

After two days neil reached to the metha mansion  to pick up avni

It was 17:30pm when he walked into the metha mansion

Neela: neil beta please come in

Neil smiled and walked to where neela was and took her blessings and then dayawanti

Dayawanti:beta please sit down... neela get some water

Neela:jee maa she said smiling and walked away.

Dayawanti:Neil beta I'm glad how u and avni r taking it slowly to get to know each other and I hope it's a positive result

Neil : even we hope that too dadi...avni is a sweet girl he said.

Neela came back with water and handed it to neil who was taking few sips.

Neela:beta I'll go and get avni

As she turned around she saw avni walking down with riya

Neela: lo here comes avni.

Neil turned around  for a sec he got lost seen avni looking beautiful in the anarkali she was wearing

Avni smiled while looking at neil but that mere sec of look of his made her heart jump 

Once reaching near them neil got up 

Neil:shall we go ?

Avni: yh she said slowly

Riya:enjoy she said hugging avni and soon moved to give neil a side hug

Avneil said bye and walked out... once reaching outside neil opened the door for avni while she sat in smiling at neil which he returned and then closed the door and walked to the other side and got into the car.

After few mins while driving to the destinations sometimes avni would smile at neil and sometimes neil would look at avni and smile 

Avni: *ahem* so where r we going?.

Neil: a place which maybe u would like he said looking at her for a  sec and then concentrated on the road

Avni: and which place is that?

Neil: that u will know once we reach there he said

Avni : great she mumbled which neil heard but smiled

Suddenly avni phone rang she looked at it and then back at neil not knowing if she should answer

Neil: what happened? Y r u not answering your phone? I mean if u want to talk alone then I can stop the car on the side he said 

Avni smiled at neil for ready to give that space 

Avni:its ok ...its actually from the Bakery

Neil:so y dont u answer it ?

Avni:u wont mind ?

Neil:avni anwer it may be something important

Avni nodded and answered the phone...she spoke to her staff about some order for 10 to 15 mins and after that ended the call

Neil:avni...y did u feel that I would mind u talking on the phone?

Avni looked at neil when he asked that question

Avni:actually I thought that since we r spending time with each other u may not like it so that's y

Neil: it's nothing like that I seriously have no issues he said giving a warm smile which avni returned

After some time they finally reached to their destination

Once reaching to the spot avneil got out of the car...avneil looked around the area to see it empty and quiet while neil went to get the picnic basket from the back seat and after few mins stood near avni.

Neil: shall we go?

Avni: neil what r we doing in a place like this she said getting confused when she noticed a picnic basket which Neil was holding.

Neil:come u will know he said walking forward while avni followed after few secs.

They walked up a small hill while avni was tired with all that walking and it was around  18:40pm when finally neil stopped

Neil spread the picnic cloth  while avni looked at him.

Avni: neil r we having picnic ? That too over here

Neil smiled and made avni to look ahead

Neil : look over there he said

When when looked she noticed how the sun looked from where they were standing...it looked as if it was near them

Neil:I thought how about we have a small picnic while talking and watching the sun set he said.

Avni turned to look at neil

Avni:that isn't a bad idea I'm impressed she said smiling while neil bowed and both chuckled

They both sat down taking the food out which neil had bought while facing towards the sun

Neil:so what did u do today ?

Avni: nothing much took few orders online and since it was small one thought I can do it at home and then got it sent of.

Neil:one day I need to taste your baking

Avni: dont worry that will be done soon....what about u how was your day

Neil: hectic with meeting and all but glad i finished early

Avni: neil we could have met some other time if u was tired

Neil:its fine plus I was waiting to spend some time with u he said while avni smiled at him but something in her heart jumped when he said he wanted to spend time with her

It was around 19:04pm

Neil: avni look he said holding her hand and pulled her close to make her look at the sun set while both looked at taking the beauty in which avni quickly recorded it on her phone somehow

Avni: that look so beautiful right she said and turned to face neil when she realised how close their face was

Neil turned to face avni when he heard her speak and for few secs both got lost in each other...both were lost into staring at each other with avni hair moving back and forth which sometime touched Neil's cheeks...after few secs  avni broke the eye contact and moved away while her cheeks were  red

Neil:yeah that surely was a beautiful moment he said looking at her and then looked ahead

Avni:I'll send u the video...neil nodded

Neil: avni u dont feel uncomfortable with me right

Avni looked up from her phone and looked at Neil

Neil:what made u think that neil ?

Neil:no I mean we dont know much about each other but we r getting to know each other so with that I just wanted to assure if u feel comfortable.

Avni: of course I do neil...if I was uncomfortable I would have told u or my family... if I'm spending time with u then that is because u actually make me comfortable...u know at first I was feeling awkward as I never had this marriage proposal or anything but u seemed different but after talking to u that day and also that night I started feeling comfortable and I mean it

Neil:I'm actually glad avni and if u dont like Anthing or want to clear anything then please do let me know

Avni:pakka and the same goes for u too.

Meanwhile at the khanna mansion Harpreet walked in

Shweta: Harpreet masi come come she said walking to her and took her blessings

Harpreet: how r u shweta

Shweta: all good masi... u came at the right time come dinner is going to be served

Harpreet: nahi woh actually I was going to meet someone but was nearby so thought let me meet u all first

Shweta: how sweet

Bebe: harpreet how r u she said coming out of the mandir area

Harpreet: all good what about u harleen

Bebe:by gods grace happy she said

Harpreet: by the way where is prakash and neil

Shweta: woh prakash ji will be back soon from office while neil went out to meet someone

Harpreet:has he gone to meet a girlfriend...u can never trust kids these days be careful

Bebe and shweta chuckled while Harpeet stared at them

Shweta: it's not like that actually we went to seee a girl for neil but before they make a decision they want to know each other so they r spending time u seee

Harpreet:neil marriage is getting fixed she said shocked with that information and also jealous

Bebe:no no it's not completely fixed but if both say yes then it wont be long to get them married she said not realising how much harpreet was boiling from inside but faked a smile

Harpreet in her head: u  seem to be flying so high and rubbing it on my face everytime

Bebe: what happened where r u lost

Harpreet:nothing nothing I'm happy for neil and hope he gets the girl he wants she said with bitterness from her heart

Shweta: yess now hope for the best

Harpreet:ok I actually got to go need to meet someone

Bebe and shweta said bye while harpreet turned around but soon the smile disappeared from her face which was replaced by hatred as she walked out of the Khanna mansion

After 30 mins Neil dropped avni outside metha mansion and both got out of the car

Avni:thank u for today neil I actually had an amazing time u surely know how to keep things simple and beautiful.

Neil:, well I'm glad I passed in that he said

Avni: with full marks

Neil:honestly avni I'm happy u enjoyed it is actually a big relief from me

Avni smiled at neil

Avni :ok neil speak to u later

Neil:bye he said

Avni smiled and started walking to the main door while neil waited

Once avni was about to go in she turned around waving at Neil while he waved back...as avni went in neil gave a boyish smile and got into the car

After few days.

Avni didnt have work to do so she was thinking what can she do when she got an idea and  decided to suprise neil and after getting his office address from the internet she decided to go and see him so in that way they can spend time together

40 mins later avni finally reached to her office..she got out of the car and told the driver to take a break and she will give a call once done

Avni:hi can u tell me where neil khanna cabin is ? She said asking the lady at the receptionist

Receptionist:have u got an appointment?

Avni: um I actually dont

Receptionists:sorry madam we cant allow u to meet sir without an appointment 

Avni was about to answer when she turned to her right hearing prakash voice

Prakash: avni beta what a pleasant surprise 

Avni:hi uncle she said smiling at him.

Prakash:what happened? U planning to go out with neil?

Avni:no uncle actually I thought of coming to meet him for a bit but I havent got an appointment to meet him

Prakash:puttar ji u dont need a appointment come he said.

The receptionist gave a sorry look to avni while she smiled warmly and blinked her eyes knowing that was her job.

As prakash took avni towards Neil's room he suddenly recieved a call

Prakash: avni puttar that room over there is neil cabin u go ok

Avni smiled and nodded while prakash left from there

As she reached towards Neil's cabin she freezed near the glass window seen the scene in front of her

On the other side in neils cabin neil was busy taking interview of someone.

Neil: ok then we will see and if u fit for this role we will offer u the job he said entering few details on the laptop.

The girl who was sitting opposite neil got up and walked towards neil...she started to trace his shoulder with her finger making neil stop what he was doing and look at her sternly 

Neil: what do u think u r doing ?

Girl:I'm just trying to get an opportunity to this job she said sitting down on his lap quickly and  moved her hand on his shirt button and opened the first few making neil annoyed.

Neil : I thought maybe u would be able to get this job but after this dirty act of yours thinking u can get a position this way I will make sure u dont get a job in any of my companies he said.

As neil removed the girl of his lap his eyes fell on his cabin window and was shocked seen avni 

Avni had tears in her eyes seen that girl on neil lap and instantly she turned around leaving from there 

Neil:avniii he said her name seen her leave

Neil gave a death glare to that girl which made her leave instantly.

Ok ok dont give me that look I know I didnt update since long but hey here is one now
