ÄRGHH" Is the first message I get when I switch on my phone at lunch. I had it turned off since I kept getting Notification from Shane.

I smile as I look down at my phone. It's not like no boy has ever shown interest in me before. It's just that now, I'm really beginning to show an interest back.

Claire and Avery look at each other. 

"They better just be some good quality meme's, because I'm not freaking ready for you to like another boy again." Avery says, Probably only half joking. She's the mom Friend of our group, But still has a really weird side.

Claire chuckles at Avery's stubbornness and steals one of her fries.

"Let me be me, Mom!" I hiss towards her, faking anger.

Avery hates when I end up liking a new guy, because I normally end up liking someone who I've never spoken to and never will. And if it is someone I speak to, I normally end up getting friend zoned or finding out he has a girlfriend.

Shane walks in and we all look at him. Claire, Avery and I make a gasps, Since it's basically our jobs. We've been in several books, and when you hear the gasps that come from the crowd, It's normally us. 

He walks over to us.
"Hey, My ladies.What you at?" Shane says, Obviously flattering Avery by the way her eyes widen. I feel a bit uncomfortable. I didn't expect Shane to be the kind of guy Avery likes. I mean, I haven't seen Avery with any guy.

Ever.

"Oh. Uhuehuehue. We're just hangin'. What about you?" Avery giggles.

"I'm quite alright, indeed." Shane replies, smiling at her. I haven't seen Shane act this way yet.I should probably get  used to it from having a pretty friend. It's just that Avery hasn't shown any interest in anyone yet since I've known.

"Come sit with us?" Avery asks.
"Yeah." Shane decideds to sit next to me even though Avery was hinting for him to sit next to her.

A few of our other friends, Come and join us.

Jason(One of our friends), Alex and Shane get into a heated conversation about whether ghosts are real. I shake my head at how silly the arguement is, but I immediatly feel embarrassed about how I just shook my head about Shane, Like I knew him.

I look around the table, For Claire and Avery, but they seem to have gone somwhere.

Not wanting to be a clingy friend, I tell myself, "Stop. Don't follow them, Its weird"

Then I decide that since I'm weird, I'll go look for them.

Let the hunt begin.

I see the coming out of the girls bathroom on my way down the  hall. They both have red lips so I assume they've just been redoing their makeup.

I guess they don't see me, Because, I see Avery slapping Claires ass.

That's really weird. Even for Avery.

I guess its okay, Maybe Avery did it to annoy Claire because everyone knows that Claire hates people going near her ass.

But Claire doesn't even seem to flinch.

Hm.

I wish I had the willpower to try and understand whats happening, but first, I need to understand why Shane is giving me attention.
