Prt 1
Blinking awake, the assassin took in his surrounding with his steel grey eyes which widened, as he realised where he had woken up to, it was a bare white room- no windows and what seems to be, no way out. He wasn't stuck heaving and coughing in the confines of his cell. He has just got a lashing for not following the orders that were given to him by his handlers.
He could feel the phantom pain of the open wounds that seemed to either be close up or not there anymore, however the pain that stretched from head to toe was excruciating.
He knew he had to pay attention to his surroundings but he was highly disoriented, he must've hit his head when he was take here too- if the mild bump on the back of his head said anything.
He could hear the faint muttering and the shuffling of those who were with him, they were just waking up and he was running out of time if he wanted to protect himself.
Not fully turning to look, the assassin- let's call him 'J' for now it was kind of familiar but he brushed past that thought- stumbles forward into the comfort area of the room they were in, it looked to be a break area.
There was sacks that seemed to fold in on you when you sat down on them- J didn't like those, he felt they were to confining, like he couldn't defend himself from such a vulnerable position- he was so close to the ground and his arm was forcefully folded into his body. Not only did he find it uncomfortable but also it was too soft for him, he was used to the hard wooden slabs or even the cold concrete floor- not big squishy things.
He tried to recall what had happed to him and how someone had got an advantage over him. He couldn't fathom it, he was The Winter Soldier for gods sake he was alert at all time. He was in too much pain to remember fully and that just made him more aggravated with himself.
When he finally got his head wrapped around the fact that he was somehow take away from Hydra and put into- what seemed to be an inescapable room. There were no windows just a couple of soft looking sofas.
As J took in his surrounding more he suddenly remembered how there were other people with him, and to his look it seems as if they hadn't his quiet groans of pain so he didn't feel the need to defend himself.
He watched the two that seemed to be more alert than the others, they were just starting to stand from their sitting positions and curiously looked around- at least J thought it was curiously, he wasn't good with human emotion.
The more they looked around, the more J tensed. This caused his back to ache that little bit more, however it seemed the pain grounded him in a way. It helped him know that he was present in everything that happened- that it was real.
Short chapter because I want to make sure that this is completely different to what I had originally and it should be since I had my sibling chip in and give me ideas.
