9. An Actual Threat

Somewhere far far away... or maybe closer than anyone suspects.

Agent Odainzone pushed open the door and strode into the room confidently.

"You're late," growled the man sitting behind the smooth wooden desk.

"I know, I know," Agent Odainzone nodded, "nice to see you too, Rouge."

"You don't need to call me that here," the man noted, "we're completely alone. Just the two of us."

A smirk played on Agent Odainzone's lips.

"I know that too. But it's fun to emphasize your pathetic choice in undercover names. The Midgardian French word for red — I mean, really?"

Rouge raised an eyebrow.

"Well, your terrible spelling of your brother's surname is not impressive either."

"He's not my brother," Odainzone retorted, "I was adopted."

Rouge dismissed it with a wave of his hand.

"Nevermind that now. Let's get to business; where is it?"

The look of amusement on Odainzone's face was replaced by a scowl.

"Gone," he replied, "all that was in the case was a holographic projection. I left it there so the Museum wouldn't be suspicious, but the fact remains that someone has beaten us to it."

"Well, then we'll just have to go by Plan B."

"We need the Banner boy out of the way first," Odianzone insisted.

Rouge shook his head.

"He's not a Hulk. We need to focus on this first."

"Fine," Odainzone reluctantly agreed, "but I've warned you."

"Yes you have," Rouge nodded, "now for Plan B. Call in... The Silent Soldier."
