The days slowly passed by, and you wondered if you would ever have a life of your own. You were taken away to be experimented on by HYDRA.

Amazingly, you were one of the few that survived. Well really, you were the one who survived. Of course two other twins survived another experiment, and you knew them well. However, you were uncertain of the abilities the experiment had given you.

The Maximoff twins had escaped, and well let's just say a lot had happened in the past few days. A few days had felt like an "age." Some robot tried to destroy the world, and the Avengers and Maximoff twins teamed up and saved the world.

So while everything was jolly in their world, you were still stuck at HYDRA. You had lost all hope, until you heard the base was under attack. By the Avengers.

"Come on slowpokes! She should be down here!" The familiar Sovokian accent yells. You smile, hope warming your heart.

Before you know it, the Avengers are standing in front of your cell, trying to pick it open. The woman in the black leather suit finally manages to break the lock.

They break the chains off, and you jump up on your feet.

"Crystal! I am so glad you are alright!" Pietro exclaims, engulfing you in a big hug.

"Not so fast, speedster. I'm going to bring her back to run some tests on her to see if she's potentially dangerous." Tony explains.

Pietro opens his mouth to argue again. "You will not lay a finger on her or else-."

"Or else what? Relax, will you?" (Or else you'll moisturize me? JK It's a reference from something)

So then, you travel to Stark Tower, where they run tests on you to discover what HYDRA had done.

You were sitting in Tony's lab, as you observed all the fancy machines and tools that surrounded you. All of the Avengers were surrounding you to see what the result was.

"Now miss-."

"Crystal."

"Crystal, right. I'm just going to run the basic things, temperature, blood temperature. Boring things like that." Tony explains, pulling out a thermometer hooked up to a small screen.

You nod, and take the thermometer as he hands it to you. Tony's eyes go big as the numbers on the screen rise quickly.

"How- how is this possible? Either you should be dead from your body heat, or my thermometer is broken. JARVIS, check the status of the thermometer." Tony says to JARVIS.

"The thermometer is in fine condition, Mr.Stark."

"Well then that can only mean one thing. Those HYDRA experiments gave you the ability to control fire."

"You sure you'll be alright? You looked pretty shaken when Tony announced the results earlier." Pietro questions in a concerned voice.

"I'll be okay. Besides, this could be fun!" You try to point out the good side of this.

"Well if you're feeling fine maybe you'd be up for a little race? For old times' sake?" Pietro suddenly asks. Your lips curve into a smirk.

You start off running, cheating. "Hey that's no fair!" Pietro shouts behind you.

You laughed. Maybe this new life wouldn't be as bad as you thought.
