"Get inside." I said hurriedly, pushing Ephyra inside of the apartment, "we need to be quick, do you have any other clothes?" I turned to her.

"Why do I need any other clothes?" She questioned, her head tilting slightly.

Because, right now, you look like Wonder Woman. I wanted to say, but I bit my tongue and shrugged like I had no idea what I just said.

"Doesn't matter," I dismissed, mind turning back to the mission at hand, "we need to be quick, right now they're coming for us,"

"They are? Who?" Ephyra cried, looking alarmed.

"Those people back there, the ones all fighting, at least the majority of them will be calling for our blood." I spoke, throwing a backpack onto my shoulder. When was my mum getting home, already? "Besides, we have a quest from Aphrodite herself to keep us from getting bored."

"Let them come, Percy Jackson, we can fight them," Ephyra grinned, tightening her grasp on her weapons.

"I know that we can fight them, but for the good of the both of us, right now, we can't," I grabbed a bag full of clothes and the other, stock standard things, throwing it onto my back, I began unfastening the locks on the windows.

"Alright," Ephyra spoke diplomatically, "then what is this quest?"

We exited the apartment through the fire escape. Ephyra followed eagerly, striding with confidence through the city. I threw on a jacket over my jacked-up SHIELD uniform I'd been wearing for the fight. I only noticed my limp as we began to notice and although I was still pumping with adrenaline, my head was beginning to spin from the power use.

And I left the Pirius in Germany.

How did I manage that again?

I looked back up to the apartment, noticing that the lights had just flicked on, CIA agents had probably just swarmed the place, looking for a fugitive. I sighed, grinding my teeth. I spotted two stationary vans across the street, they'd be collaborating and commanding the mission. It was only a matter of seconds before Ephyra or I would be spotted. Especially Ephyra.

"Walk faster," I commanded under my breath, we sped around to a backlot that supported a public toilet. "Swap the armour for these clothes, we need to hide," I threw a pair of Annabeth's old clothes at Ephyra, her face wrinkled, but she didn't complain.

I didn't need to change, the SHIELD clothes, while bulky, weren't too noticeable. A hoodie was appropriate for a guy around these parts and I could melt into the crowds.

"These clothes are uncomfortable," Ephyra grumbled, still struggling with her own hoodie. Her circuit was still in her hair and her armour poked out from underneath her shirt. I sighed. Whatever works.

Ephyra had managed to conceal her shield somewhere which was fantastic, aside from the clothes, I would've given her an A+ for blending in.

"Alright, let's go," I mumbled, motioning towards the subway entrance.

We were underground when Ephyra appeared skittish. "I don't like it here," she mumbled. "It smells..."

"Like death, I know," I grumbled. We were both kids of the Sea, underground, I realised, would be terrible for the both of us. "We take this train out, get the agents of our trail, we need to get to Long Island and this is the most unpredictable way out of here,"

"Why are we being unpredictable?" Ephyra questioned curiously. Her curls fell out of her hoodie and I watched a couple guys eyes her off, itching to punch in their faces. Not right now, I breathed, save it for later.

"We're being trailed," I spoke back lowly, "the US signed an agreement to hunt down superhumans in the case that they went rogue. By responding to Cap's offer, I was labelled rogue, by being back in the US, they're able to hunt me down,"

"You're a target," Ephyra stated simply, I nodded.

"I don't regret it, I was asked of something and I did it."

We rode in silence for three stops, then Ephra asked, "What's next?"

"We're going to the hunters, I need to speak with them for a bit, maybe you'll be able to stay with them if you want. But I need to also go to Chiron and sort out..." My throat constricted, it took some trouble to take a breath, "some stuff, then we'll keep moving."

Ephyra nodded and looked away. I received a notification.

While we were on the moment of communication, I sent one to Thalia.

I pocketed my phone, we reached our stop and with some difficulty, we were in a cab. I gave the driver the location and we were out of there, supposedly, without any agents on our trail. It didn't take long for the scenery to merge. I was hit with a sense of de ja vú, back to camp, on a lonely night.

We hit the location Thalia had sent me, I paid the cabbie and he sped off.

"Took you long enough," Thalia, dressed in her usual hunter garb, emerged from the treeline. We embraced. "What's up?"

"A lot," I sighed, "we gotta talk,"

Thalia nodded understandingly, she turned to Ephyra.

Captain Steve: on a scale of 1 to America, how free are you tonight?

"You know what guys? On second thoughts, how 'bout I catch up with you guys later?" I gave them a salute and ran back to the road.

"Who are you saving now, Percy?"

"America," I answered back with a grin.

Heyo guys what's up. Currently, my excuse for absence, is that I'm in student production of four different films, I'm doing everything, from scriptwriting, to producing, to directing to camera to assembly to editing and oml, too much stress. But, I'm addicted.

About October 7th, is the deadline from the film's so about after then, I should be back at it. Tomorrow, I'm filming pickups for a short drama film, and it's going to be so annoying because it's on a main road and Thor: Ragnarok is filming a couple blocks down which means fangirls and cars driving back and forth like omg I'm so excited but I've met both of them already, I know the schedule for crew and actors, I know the majority of the extras onset and crew I've met before when they were filming King Kong. But like, on the day I'm filming 😂😂😂😅😅😅 PM me for set deets because I know everything that's happening right now.
